Nice product, though much more expensive than the Atmos Gear electric inline skates for 750EUR. In comparison to an InMotion V8F EUC for 1200EUR, SKWheels o have similar weight (~17kg) o have similar battery size (600Wh) and range + are much easier to learn + have swappable batteries + can go faster when not limited to 25km/h (though bigger EUCs go faster too) + are (slightly) narrower when riding with closed legs + have a mechanical emergency brake + don't rely on a self-balancing controller (can't "cutout") - have smaller wheels (making potholes and uneven terrain in principle more problematic) - allow for much less tight turns - make more noise (it seems) - take up more space on the road and for storage - take (much) more time to step on and off (25+12 seconds vs 3+2 seconds) - need a remote Did I forget anything? I can't image that Skwheels have a bigger fun factor than EUCs.
Just bought on indigogo. Even got the faster charger and x2 extra batteries. I have dreams of floating, gliding, flying. It's the best thing ever to feel that sensation, so to feel that irl will be a dream come true. Ps I have been Skiing and Skiing is fun, but work and cost of tickets, equipment would eventually turn into the amount u can just spend on these to go places around town. Will have to maybe update in June when they are due to arrive. I already have an ebike that goes close to 60mph, so to go this fast on skates will be interesting to experience. I heard the one man say that low center of grav makes it happen and I believe it as my bike experiences the same. Weight also, isn't a bad thing, so to stay planted with surfaces. The dude that does a crazy off road jump makes it. Would love to see more videos and showcasing of a glydr in action.

@@MissGoElectricRideReviews That's not my point, what im saying is if u fall with these u'll have high chances to break ur legs, its pure logic. I dont understand how they can sell it without auto shoes release, its too dangerous, im telling u, a lot of ppl will break their legs
They look like srb off road rollerskis or skike skates with power. I am looking forward to seeing these.
We hope to review these this summer. Please subscribe if you'd like to see that. Producer Tim
It’s so cool seeing a woman being so successful in this industry- you go girl!

How's it going so far?
@@alanm.335 it's not! They pushed back to November as their new date ...
@@tyler6903makes sense, you ski in Winter 😂
Y'know, Laycee… I think I'd like a Skwheel "snowboard" more than the "skis." Maybe that's just me, having used both snow originals on the slopes…?

Where is the auto shoes release system to prevent twisting the legs and breaking the bones if u fall ????
These appear to work like in line skates, which have no such mechanisms.

The wheelbase should have been reduced and wheel dia should have been much higher... I mean much bigger and light wheels for rough terrain.
