The All-New 2022 Sea-Doo Switch Pontoon Line-up

- Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) introduced a line of pontoons called the Sea-Doo Switch on August 12th. The company says it is a pontoon with the feel of a personal watercraft. We were given the opportunity to join BRP in Montebello, Quebec at the beautiful Fairmont Le Château Montebello to test out all models of the new Switch.
The Switch comes in lengths from 18-19 feet, fits 5-9 passengers, and has a HP from 100-170.

I love that camper enclosure... I want to buy one and use it for overnight lake camping!
With the full enclosure top, that would be an awesome little island hopper!
To be honest with you the Bimini should fold to the opposite direction to the back when some one don’t want to use it and have the open top. This is about the 18 foot demo you did in the video.
Nice, This is the first video I’ve seen that mentions the 230 hp is supercharged!

Would it fit in a typical home car garage as far as hight when on the trailer
i saw someone comment on another video its 8ft tall when on the trailer, so it may or may not depending on your home, assumming the 8ft comment was correct info.
It fits easily when on a trailer. An adult can see over it when it's trailered. 8' must be the height with the top up.

Assume this would handle the same in ocean as any pontoon. In other words, no.
Pontoons were never made for oceans.
i dont know, it seems pretty stout an has alot of freeboard, plus everything is sealed up pretty well an is made well like all there jetskis. i wouldnt be afraid to take it out an really use it as its a good size boat, but everything has limits.
Its more of a deck boat than a pontoon boat. It should handle choppy water better.
Website doesn't let you add a bimini top to the base model, only a sun shade that you can't use above 5 mph. You have to choose the sport or cruise line for a bimini top. With the sport and cruise lines it forces you to buy the $899 stereo and the $949 GPS unit. That's almost $2,000 that you're forced to pay for even if you don't want a stereo or GPS.
What is the total price
How big is the gas tank?
Can it pull two adult tubers? Or three?

Does it have off power assist stearing where it throttle up lock to lock and does the Bimini have to be up to use the boat or does it fold up like a standard Bimini top
he mentioned if you come to a low bridge you can bring it easily down to go under it , so yes it will work when in the down position.

@@MrDavid6974 yes towards the end of the video he collapsed it like a regular Bimini but then they showed it on the back of the boat.so if that's the case the Bimini has to be up in order to use the boat which is not very user friendly and will turn people away

It’s going to sell like hot cakes. A pontoon that will fit in most garages, is brilliant. Storing a boat somewhere besides home, is what keeps a lot of people from buying, and with a starting price of 18k, there isn’t going to be room on the lake for us anymore.

What a gay looking boat
Neat product but this presenter has the presence of a used car salesman 🤮 that was a real shame to use his stuttering and seemingly unrehearsed monolog to promote this new product . Bad marketing decision Sea-Doo. I'll wait for a real product review but I like the concept. One thing I would like to know is if you have to have your finger on the throttle all the time like a typical jetski or if it's more like a traditional boat where you can set the throttle and let your hand off? until you brake?
