Batman: Arkham Shadow is an action-adventure video game played from a first-person perspective. In the game, the player assumes control of Batman who must stop a new villain called the Rat King from unleashing chaos in the city. The rhythmic, free-flow combat from the previous games returns in Shadow, allowing Batman to attack, stun and counter. Combining these three main abilities can keep Batman attacking while moving between enemies and avoiding being attacked himself. The stealth predator sections are also back. Batman can activate Detective Vision to identify the locations and the patrol patterns of all enemies in an area, and stealth tactics such as silent takedowns, inverted takedowns and hiding in grates can be used against armed enemies. He also has a large arsenal of tools, such as smoke bombs and batarangs to aid combat. The game's structure is similar to that of Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009), in which Batman explores a series of large but confined spaces. Batman can glide from heights using his cape, and use his grapple gun to climb onto higher ledges. As players progress, they will gain new gadgets and tools, enabling them to open up new paths to reach previously inaccessible areas.
These lines from other games hits different after Arkham Shadow. Arkham City Thug: "I know a guy who was in the courthouse that day, he said Harvey tried to fight back, even his other half face was melted on the floor." Two-Face in Arkham Knight: (To Batman) "I wish I was dead... I'm a freak because of you! You're the man who put that acid-throwing bastard in the dock!"
Of all the films or animations we've had about Harvey Dent, Arkham Shadow was the heaviest, because it was Bruce himself who burned his childhood friend's face.
@@JarvisCosric885Yes, but even so, Bruce felt it was his fault, since at no point in the game was Bruce by Harvey's side, and the only time they were together was to reveal that he was the Bat.
It's even more heart-breaking that Harvey's abuse he suffered from his father will now be endless because Two-Face is significantly influenced by his father's personality - the violence, aggression, lack of compassion, and use of the coin to make his decisions. Even the "bad news, kid" line upon a negative coin toss outcome were his father's words.
I love the whole court scene to be honest (and this game in general), but my favorite part is Dr. Crane just being like 'Ah yes, let me just HUUUFFFFFFFFFF annnnd I'm good to go!' XD. No wonder his eyes are so red.

If I remember correctly, in the comics one origin story about Harvey was that his father would toss a coin to decide if Harvey was going to be punished (I can't remember if his father was just a monster or it was a sick game he decided to do when Harvey screwed up as a kid) but it would always turn up heads on the coin, so Harvey was always punished.
