Hackers are so talented. If only they would use that talent for good, instead of bad. It has taken me a good few months just to learn what they do to try and hack things and I still don't even know how to replicate it in an attempt to figure out how hackers actually operate, let alone stop them.
I think hacking should only be used for good causes, like little pranks or starting args.

The fact that the orange recolor to be changed to a fox rubbed the salt into the wound even more when they realised they hadn’t got your twitter and side channels, as well as the fact that when you got it back you foxified it yourself by changing it to orange
The moment I saw a notification for Fox "News" pop up on my phone, I KNEW someone had gotten hacked.

So glad you got it back man, this was such a fun way to recap it! ya managed to turn an unfortunate situation into an essential part of the channel's legacy.
It's honestly really surprising that you got the channel back so soon bc some people lose their channel for weeks.
because these hacks because quite common occurrence and youtube had to delegate a special support team to deal with this , i still remember time where it first happened and people sometimes waited half a year or 3 months to have chanel reinstated (some also never got reinstated ratio was like 60/40 or 50/50 depending if channel was big or small , smaller ones had no chance to be reinstated) , it shows that youtube is doing something about it or atleast they are trying.
While the events that are described in this video are absolutely terrifying, all I could think about while watching is how well this video is scripted, narrated and edited!

Oof, sorry that this happened to you, man. Those hackers are very tricky and if you're not being super careful, they can get you. I remember a week or two ago, I got a random notification for a Fox News account that I didn't remember subbing to, but when I clicked on the video, it said the channel had been deleted. Suppose it was those heckin' hackers. Glad you got everything back! Stay safe out there!
So glad to see your channel back! I have seen other channels get hacked too. These hackers are just jerks at the end of the day. Talk about letting your talent go to waste.

I saw the stream and was confused then went to the channel and it showed some old videos where in the intro it said you were the bread pirate, I was literally freaking out when your channel got removed as you are one of my favourite content creators. :D

For some reason this situation makes me think of the story for breath of the wild, this is what I mean:
The fake sponsorship email/ signs of the calamity returning
Bread pirate losing his channel/ the start of the calamity
the channel being terminated/ when link had fallen in battle and was put in the shrine of resurrection for 100 years
The support from everybody/ link freeing the divine beasts to help
Bread pirate getting his channel back/ destroying ganon
I know it’s a lot to take in but I just noticed it

I'm glad you got that back. as soon as I saw the icon on that "pdf" file I knew it was a program and not a pdf, although to be honest I probably would have fell for it and tried to open it anyway just to see what it was XD
Very glad you got your channel back with all the work you put into it and the well-deserved subscriber count. Any ideas what those hackers were really after? Posting Fox News content is such a weird thing to do to a hacked channel. Only thing that makes sense to me is that this was a sophisticated trolling attempt.
I suspect it was a bitcoin scam.

Look My friend, you are not an idiot. I have had my laptop taken hostage by a "Microsoft" technician and yes upon further inspection of his "credentials" I noticed it was riddled with typos! I had to call Microsoft and they told me to hard boot my laptop, turn it off by holding down the power button for ten seconds, thus severing his hold on my computer. Needless to say I was relieved to have my computer back! I am happy you are back, and I was devastated when I heard of your tragedy! I really enjoyed your content as always and hope to see you around!
Glad you got the channel back! (And I pogged when I saw my Twitter account make a cheeky cameo.) It's great that TH-cam's Twitter account was so proactive, but I do find it odd that TH-cam's best way to help creators comes through a thrid party social media website. They should implement a better support system on TH-cam.

Two biggest security precautions you can take that you don't typically hear.
1. If you don't have third party manager fielding your emails to theirs, make your own business email, completely detached from all of your accounts but listed on all your pages.
2. Make a virtual machine that you use to access said emails so that IF you get compromised, you can reset the VM like nothing happened.
Of course these steps are also improved with a VPN so other IPs on your network aren't breached, though that's unlikely.
This has been happening a lot recently. At least 3 other channels that I watch have had the same thing happen to them over the past 2 months.

I thought you were gone when I saw the Fox News stuff, but I checked the next day making sure you were ok. Then, when I saw you switched your channel back, I was relieved. Adorable kitty you have there! ^^ I love cats so much, and they love me. I have yet to meet a cat who did not like me at all. Even the one we used to have, who hated my mom so much, loved me still. On the topic about this video though, I'm glad you recovered your account. And I guess the terminated account on my list of people I'm Subscribed to on TH-cam, was yours. I honestly was kinda panicking when I noticed an account I'm Subbed to being terminated, but I couldn't figure it out who got terminated. I now think it was you, as that terminated channel is now not displayed as being terminated. Good to know you managed to recover your channel, not everyone has ties to people who can aid in rescuing your account from hackers

Glad that you were able to recover your channel! Thanks for also revealing the prosess of how you were hacked and how you were able to recover. Kinda crazy how a .SCR screensaver file could be disguised as a virus. (Very good to know for me personally.) I've seen other channel being transfomed into a FOX NEWS channel with that odd live video, so it's not common that this happens. Hope that this doesnt happen ever again!

Hey Bread I have some useless facts I hope you like them
(1) when link runs out of stamina then try’s to pull out a weapon when nothing is equipped he hunch’s at a almost perfect 90 degree angle, even better when he does this when he is about to recover his stamina he hunches then stands up straight
(2) when you use the scope to pin a area you might notice the pin has letters above it which when translated say “s to go alone” more then likely saying “it’s dangerous to go alone”
(3) if a guardian is trying to shoot you just hide behind a horse and it will not be able to see you
(4) if you push Beddle from one stable all the way to another one he will meet his twin brother
(5) at the Serrene stable of it’s raining and night the dogs eyes will glow bright green just like the wild moose
