Such a clever hack! Love it! I think Tilly patterns are really good to mix and match. The block seems to be the same on each pattern! I love that putting the Bettine pockets on the Lotta is “controversial” I did laugh at that! But a genius idea! Lovely video!!

Lovely dresses. I really like the Bettine dress too and like you I made the skirt more aline. I've not tired the lotta yet, but may do eventually xx

Thank you Karen. I do like the lotta, but I really like the Bettine neckline so my combo of the two was a winner for me x.

I have the Lotta pattern but not made it get. Your makes, of both patterns look great & particularly like the yellow dress & the one you were wearing.👍

Hi Clare, an interesting vlog as I have both of these patterns. As yet I haven't made the Lotta. I have made the Bettine and very much like the bodice/neckline and have used it to make T-shirts with a more relaxed fit, by just extending and grading out to my hips. I hadn't thought of using the Lotta skirt _ but I will now. Thanks so much.

The hack of the two dresses is lovely! I made a Bettine a long time ago, I'm 5' 7" so not quite as tall as you, but I added two inches to both the bodice and the skirt, as well as doing the same A-line hack you did. Not sure if she still does it but in the early days Tilly definitely drafted patterns for a 5' 4" pear shaped woman. Every pattern of hers I made I had to add length and also grade in at the hips at least two sizes!

Thank you so much. Yes I find her earlier patterns are drafted for her shape. I think the block has been tweaked a bit in her later patterns. Thank you so much for watching ❤️

Thank you Adele. It is a cute pattern, probably a bit over looked these days as there are so many new patterns. ❤️
