I have the rydal jumpsuit on my list!! It’s such a cool pattern!! Your new dress looks great! Love the layered look! Shame you’re not in love with that cardigan… I was admiring the fabric! Lovely vlog, thank you!! Xx
Hi Claire, I strongly recommend the jumpsuit that So Sarah Style has been raving about. I have made two, one of which I narrowed the flare and added a sewn in belt from the side seams. If your fabric is very drapey then the full width is great but if it’s thicker, like a scuber, then I recommend straightening the outer seam pattern pieces by a good 2-3 inches. It’s probably ok if you’re size 0 but on a curvy figure it creates an awful lot of fabric to bunch up. I added the faux belt into the seams and put it at the right spot so that when it’s tied it hides my tummy roll that sits at belly button level. Crafty huh! Saying that though the weight of the fabric in the legs tends to keep it from riding into any creases. My next one I shall add some hacked sleeves to. It’s such a lovely easy and quick sew and a very flattering shape. X
What about the camille jumpsuit it's in one of the sew over it books. It does say it can be done in stretch I think. Very similar to the deer and doe one 😊
Neat pinafore!
Thank you x
