People have said that she can't sing just because she doesn't hit high notes like Lea Michele but knowing how to sing isn't based on whether someone can hit high notes like that or not. I personally prefer Dianna's voice over Lea because Dianna doesn't seem like she's trying to impress anybody when she sings. It's like Dianna is just singing because it makes her happy and that makes me happy in return. Whereas Lea makes me feel like she's always trying to compete against other people and that she's always angry or something.

Women with lower registers usually end up providing harmony, rather than the melody. As such, people haven't been taught how to appreciate a deeper female singing voice. There used to be more songs written for women with lower registers. I actually prefer the lower tone. It's more unique.
I have even more respect for Dianna now I know she can sing with piano. I also found out she plays the guitar as well. She is a fantastic actress, a great Quinn and a musician too! 😁

But neither they nor amber did as much for their role as dianna. last i checked only dianna sang and talked in a higher-pitched voice than normal for almost 3 full season to appear younger! whats more i will grant that naya and heather did great things for even being on the show as they were just extras. but be honest amber did not bring much to the character. she played pretty much a stereotype from the word go just like murphy wanted. she did not really make me fall in love with her character cause it was just a stereotype. dianna did the most to make her character not be a stereotype. she was supposed to play the mean and much-hated villain. but due to her skill at playing emotions, she gave depth to her character that amber did not. can amber kill those notes singing? yes but that was the vast majority of the female cast. diannas voice and heathers stood out because they did not always sing every song with power or sing them notes. same goes for rebeca. so i will sleep on amber thanxs. but i will grant that heather and naya did far more with less than amber. after all they went from cheerleader 2 and 3 or whatever they were numbered to main cast. that says a lot about them and their skill. amber was always just a voice and body her storylines were not that many and to be honest as stereotyped as her character. they did not do more with her character because she did not own it like the other three. she is not really as popular cause again her character was a very basic stereotype.

Talent-wise, I feel like Dianna coudlve been a world-touring pop singer if she wanted. I mean she's got skills + persona + looks. But good on her for living a private life after Glee wherein people dont bother her

It’s a very common background to have if you’re a singer so it’s not surprising but we hardly ever see her playing too. She still has to read off the music sheet and look at her fingers while she plays it looks like. She should keep improving.
@@diamondborealis454 ok i have seen in her bios and videos on her that she studied dance and acting when a kid and in high school. heck, she was a dance instructor from what i have read. but i have never seen it said she had singing or even music leassons as a kid. i would bet she took singing lessons while on glee and learned piano sense than. so yeah her skill level would not be that of someone who spent childhood in music. but even than she is a natural singer unlike a castmate on glee who spent a lot of time learning to sing but cant really appeal to anyone when she does. Actually, there is a curious fact about it... She had problems with the breaths while recording some songs, because she broke her nose twice. For that reason it sounded a little bit forced in the nasal part on it.
