They are an amazingly talented and close family...given Finnesus and Billie huge support living in a small two bedroom apartment, giving love and support to their children....its beautiful to see the connection between them....pure love and support ❤❤
Its great they have gratitude. But also.. most parents dont love their children in a real way but only control them or demand what needs to be done or leaves them to live on their own struggle on their own and sneer at them when the child is upset at something and chastise them for not knowing what the real world is like. I think if we are truly kind and loving then gratitude is a byproduct. Expressing it and communicating it must be taught, as well. It is beautiful to see such a close family, and real true nurturing. I am so glad the girl i babysat showed me Billie Eilish. I wish i could have afforded the concert for us without it taking me too close to zero. Im just a loser but i know if my parents were for me and not against me, i would have made it to a different place than i am today. Still, even with that support, she expresses so much that i can relate to, with such cool calm collected sass. I feel the sadness, the loneliness of our Aquarian Moon hearts.. i wish Billie to be loved thoroughly, the way she desires to be loved, completely and wholly. No more sadness or less than. I appreciate the effort of the whole family to bring us this art.
Yes exactly!! There's very often a solid reason behind why someone might be ungrateful, even if they aren't yet fully concious of what that reason is themselves. Far too many parents weaponise their role as caregivers to demand gratitude and affection from their kids, sometimes after years of inflicted chilhood abuse. If you're truly a good parent and fulfilling your child's needs, they'll almost certainly be grateful to have you. Gratitude comes from feeling loved, supported, listened to, and just generally having your emotional needs met in some kind of way, and if you aren't willing to meet your child's emotional needs as a parent, don't expect your kids to be grateful for you.
I am part of generation Z like Billie Eilish, I was born the same year as her (2001). I had many talents with potential in sports (football/soccer, swimming, archery) and in the arts (drawing, musical instruments, public speaker). But my parents and the rest of my family never supported me, on the contrary they constantly put me down. All they wanted was for me to earn a lot of money to satisfy them but not me. I lost my confidence and my assurance and I know that my potential is wasted. Billie Eilish had a wonderful entourage, her parents are incredible people, they did everything for her to succeed and she succeeded. She was able to test dancing, horse riding, singing until she found the area where she is the best. Having talent is not enough to succeed, if you have a bad entourage you will not achieve anything. Many talented people have had their potential wasted because of bad surroundings. I am very happy that Billie Eilish was able to succeed because I see in her what I could have become with good surroundings. I wish her and her family the happiest life.
This family have found their soulmates in this lifetime! They are practically one soul! They were together when they were in their lows & now they are superstars they are ever stickier to each other than ever! It’a very rare these days to be able to find your soulmates; your parents, your partner, your children, etc.
I love Billie n her beautiful family! I now love them even more. I had no idea her Mom n Dad were actors. I totally recognize her Mom from different roles. The fabulosity is through the roof!
Wow, I cannot imagine artists parents supporting their kids to become artists as well. Usually I have seen the pendulum goes to the opposite side from one generation into another. I know a family which was like billie's, the musical parents taught music at home to their son and then he graduated as an Engineer and later did MBA to become a worker in corporate world. He does well financially. And here me being an Engineer and doing well, teaching my daugher music as a side thing and asking her to focus on being a professional Engineer or Doctor.
This is so important! Their parents are nurturing their gifts. I never had a music class at any of my schools and I think it’s incredibly important to have parent’s (or a parent, guardian or teacher) start having musical instruments around their children when they’re young. Playing music is good too. Music is so important and I’m so grateful for it. Music is unquestionably vital and it’s literally the soundtrack to our lives…
I was going through a rough patch few years ago when my son asked me for a pizza. I took him to the nearest pizza hut and bought him the pizza he wanted to eat. When he asked me why I was not eating I told him I didnt like that stuff when of course i did. At that point I wish I cud spare some for a larger pizza for both of us to share. My son is a topper, he earned scholarship offers at major US universities where he is at today. never told him about that day but deep down I think he knows. Bringing up the best in our children is what we do, that's what good parenting is all about.
They don’t even know how lucky they are and how rare it is that parents like that. I’m happy for them, but I am so sad for my inner child. How she was suffocated and abused and I’m still uncovering and recovering from it. What would I have been if I’d had love? Hugs? “I love you” the fact that her mom even acknowledges her mental health let alone protects it. My mom couldn’t care less how I feel. I remember begging her to hug me as a kid and she just scoffed and laughed and said “why? you don’t exactly make it easy to love you”
Agreed.. scary how parents have been focused the kids whole life on kids being stars.. do parents deserve payment for that?? Idk.. it somehow seems wrong..

The upside is music was the inspiration, no matter how many challenges they had as a family, and it explains Billies incredibly deep and heartfelt lyrics💜
Billie grew up with her parents living paycheck to paycheck and yet: she has not the slightest clue how much a box of cereal costs. Did she never go grocery shopping with her parents? Like, ever? Not to mention, she sells her merch $50 for a shirt, $100 for a sweatshirt. (Yes, I realize they are organically and ethically made in the U.S., but try telling that to her 12 year old superfans with low-income parents.)
@@182prizinha sometimes parents knows if their kid is destined for the spotlight. Take lavar ball? Had 3 sons 2 of 3 are in the nba. He cultivated their talents and led them to this at a young age. The nba is very exclusive and difficult yet he has 2 there
It is really nice to see that this family was so blessed with love and support. It's wonderful that something like this came from a place where there seems to be nothing but woe on the news. Much love and respect to Billie and her great family. 💖

I don't agree that the parents are the ones who is doing this for Billie. Yes they are part of it. But it's her brother who's the real genious behind it all.
I agree; he doesn't get nearly enough credit when it comes to their success. He does everything and all Billie does is lay the tracks (he writes most of the music on top of everything else). But he seems to enjoy not being the focal point and seems fine with Billie being more in the limelight.
@@lillium4139 Oh but Billie does do her own vocals. They write the music togethor, Finneas makes the music mostly for it and has the finishing touches but i don't doubt that Billie is very knowledgeble too. They are very great togethor. This really got me thinking about the meaning of being parents: nurturing wonderful human beings to be better than us, to make the world a better place. It’s hard work and often being seen as personal choices. But it’s actually good for the whole world and under-valued. What’s worse, being a parent and caring children is often considered as a disadvantage in this society, harder to do their jobs well, harder to find good partner etc. Trying hard to be a good and responsible parent shouldn’t be punished.
Great biography ...reminds me of raising my kids both amazing musicians and artists ..just stuck in some personal struggles...I feel it should be mentioned to their millions of fans around the world..that thou humble hardworking dedicated and support full this family is IT IS INCREDIBLY incredibly rare..an exception ..many families I ve met are very similar ..it just never includes stardom YET 😉...I just think it's important for kids and parents not feel deep sadness remorse or sadly for some deep jealousy maybe even resentment of their parents or even parents of their kids ...the stars of Stardom truelly only align for a very few .Now this being said ..I think their story is a beautiful and inspiring one ...but not a common one.
I still LOVE that despite this information being put out there in Billie's documentary that people still assume their parents are the reason because of money and connection. People always want to hate on successful young people but we would have more if parents were more supportive, that's all I'm sayin. They both are fortunate to have such parents but I think we all deserve to be raised in a home where we don't have to worry about the problems our parents are facing.

@@boinkadoinkk Absolutely 👏❣️
What a loving family! I truly adore how the siblings care for each other as well.
She deserves the world! I'm very happy (and proud) for her. Amazing family!
Mad respect to their parents for working so hard to cultivate their values and work ethics in their children 💪🏼💜💜💜
It is like a perfect storm of good! Maggie and Pat are the coolest and best Mom and Dad!
They are such a great example of parents to creatives. Love that Billie pays them as crew, this is how you take care of family 😍
This family have found their soulmates in this lifetime! They are practically one soul! They were together when they were in their lows & now they are superstars they are ever stickier to each other than ever! It’a very rare these days to be able to find your soulmates; your parents, your partner, your children, etc.
1:34 The family pic with their dog... so cute 😭❤
You are so blessed to have such a loving supportive and genuinely nurturing parents. Love your family
Such an amazing beautiful family with genuine talent. Absolutely love how they are so tight-knit.
I'm so glad finneas and Billie got wonderful parents! Thank u Billie and finneas's mom and dad!
I love the story of their family and how they support each other!
I remember begging her to hug me as a kid and she just scoffed and laughed and said “why? you don’t exactly make it easy to love you”
I love her story and her parents for being 100 percent committed to their family!!! God bless you all!
Finneas was literally on glee. Are you telling me he didnt meet a single person from the music industry while he was on there?
Agreed.. scary how parents have been focused the kids whole life on kids being stars.. do parents deserve payment for that?? Idk.. it somehow seems wrong..
@@crossbowskiss maybe, its because they are an artistfamily, so they give to their children what they know and have... art. I guess it's a tradition thing.
What does Finneas meeting people on Glee have to do with their parent's connections?
@@melodicomen777 He had connections as did his parents. Lets not act like Billie just started from nothing.
@@andyd3447 Her music became popular when Ocean Eyes was released for free on Soundcloud. It was the third song they ever released on Soundcloud.
It had nothing to do with record industry connections. After the song blew up, they had record companies fighting over them.
I'm sure they are so glad for it!! Billie certainly made them proud!! And they still have a close bond.Great job Eilish family!!
This is so touching. So proud for her and her family!
Enjoyed this.. thanks! 🙏
Billie has depth. From poor to a celebrity. Others are just plastic/fake. But everything about billie is real
she was not poor

The depth of Love goes beyond the mind, the heart shatters the illusion......
How beautiful to let the soul truly flourish.
I am so glad to know of artists with both parents supporting them and loving them, great job mom and dad! More importantly, I love that Finneas and Billie give back the love & respect to their children. Great job everyone, I wish to see more of this.
Billie is as nice and sweet a girl as one can be. I'm very proud of her and happy she has kept it together as well as she has. She's good.
Parent's love & sacrifice can move mountains ❤
WOW !!! That's such an Amazing family story !! She is soooo lucky to had that ! Full support, unconditional love. This is so rare and precious . Her parents are amazing and so she is 💜💜💜
The upside is music was the inspiration, no matter how many challenges they had as a family, and it explains Billies incredibly deep and heartfelt lyrics💜
This is beautiful.
Just what I was thinking and was about to comment. And why such an obsession with being/making them famous?
EXACTLY.
Well yes, your sweatshirt is going to cost more than $20 if its not made by people in Burma making $4/week 🙄
@@182prizinha sometimes parents knows if their kid is destined for the spotlight. Take lavar ball? Had 3 sons 2 of 3 are in the nba.
He cultivated their talents and led them to this at a young age. The nba is very exclusive and difficult yet he has 2 there
I doubt she has control over pricing as thats a marketting team but i agree she should take notice and change that
It is really nice to see that this family was so blessed with love and support. It's wonderful that something like this came from a place where there seems to be nothing but woe on the news. Much love and respect to Billie and her great family. 💖
Had to sleep on a futon poor princess. Jesus christ wake up!
I love You Billie Eilish
That has lights and boyfriend and girlfriend in the friend zone Billy in the friend zone you being the friend zone and you
Wish I had parents like this. A lot of years have gone by with me just trying to heal from the trauma that they caused.
Here I am as a recovering musician, trying to find my way and man, I wish things were different. It's nice to see talented people like her thriving though, it gives me hope.
💙
Sometimes in life you find someone who boost your life and they do that for eachother. And that's why they are geniouses because they vibe along.
@@boyke112 but that's all she really does. She lays the tracks (aka vocals) but that's really about it. 90% of their songs are created by Phineas including lyrics.
@@lillium4139 No she write her own lyrics :p

Well no wonder you and your brother are so creative and talented it runs in your family!!

Mad respect to this family.
This is what parenting everywhere should be like ❤
They've got great parents and likewise they've got great kids!! 👏🏼♥️💯
To be ABLE to take care of their parents after all their parents have done for them, is a blessing. 🙏

What amazing parents. No wonder Billie is so talented.
Wow, the love. What a great family. This report gives significant insight. Beautiful 😍
Very High respect to their parents 🎉. I love Billie's music😊
These parents are amazing. You hope all parents would make similar choices but sacrifice is hard for people. Look what love this family has.
I knew Billy as a youngster she used to ride at the barn I worked at her parents are tremendous people she's an amazing young lady I miss her everyday God bless her and her family.
Wonderful family ❤
Wonderful American story!
Trying hard to be a good and responsible parent shouldn’t be punished.
very true
Finneas is a really talented multi-instrumentalist. He is one half of the team. What a lovely family.
I love to see that Billie and Phineas are such family oriented children! I am in awe of Billie's inner and outer beauty!
the more I learn about this talented young lady and her brother the more I'm a fan!

If your in this evil industry pray you have parents like this!
She's soo cute and fun👑💞
Love that girl
this is the best thing I've learnt about celebrities this whole year. why can't we have this kind of news all the time?
She’s so pretty and cute ☺️🖤💚
I still LOVE that despite this information being put out there in Billie's documentary that people still assume their parents are the reason because of money and connection.
People always want to hate on successful young people but we would have more if parents were more supportive, that's all I'm sayin.
They both are fortunate to have such parents but I think we all deserve to be raised in a home where we don't have to worry about the problems our parents are facing.
As a mom once my children know what they want in life I will fully support them.
Cool to see a normal family create a wonderful unit that just works! You all rock!
Ah how wonderful: parents living vicariously through their children...
Just saw her yesterday ♥️ watching this video now, was a fan but now can’t get enough after that! WIW
