Hey Drew can I ask you a question, I feel I'm right between a dg r300 and s300 but I hate the smaller butt end of the r300 and I can get by with an s300 if I put a good swing on it. Just wondering if S200 is a viable option? I hit my 7 iron between 150 and 160

Thanks for watching! It's worth a try. I would say if you're hitting your 7-iron in that range, you can most likely fit nicely into a stiff shaft.

Thanks for putting this together! Interesting results throughout, glad to see both Titleist irons included and the Wilson. Great insights into what a fitter should be helping you with!

Interesting comparison between the T150 and Mizuno Pro 243…I own both and love the T150s better overall mostly due to the thinner top line. I don’t like thick clubs…odd you didn’t turn the T150s over more considering Titleist is 2 degrees more upright than Mizuno (I think that’s right)…did you guys adjust them?

Coming from T100/100S combos I just didnt like the 150s look at address. Ended up in 243s and while the top line is thicker than my old set, I like them just as much I think. Took very little time to adjust to them even changing shafts to the MMT105 from the Aerotech FC115s.

I have too much spin and lack distance 7i almost 8k spin about 160 yards. Should I go with 243 or t150? Use dg 120x shafts

Both great options. Another option to consider here is ZX7 MK II. I didn't swing it the best in this session but it's another "spin killer" iron that would perform similar to those two. If you can hit all three in a fitting, that's what I would do. Otherwise, Mizuno is a little softer feeling and the T150 has the thinnest topline, while Srixon will have the thickest topline. Whichever of those things you prefer the most is what I would go with

I’m in same boat I tried t150 did not like look at address thinking of the 243 but still hit the 2019 t100s way better

I love the point about turf interaction in regards to attack angle. I have no business playing a blade/players iron in regards to my overall skill. However I don’t do well with thick soles irons. My first irons back in 1997 were ridiculously thin. I still have them and they are half the thickness of my p790, that I just got got into on May 5th. But I’m already looking at switching half my set to atleast the 770s, because I’m better off playing a thinner sole. I probably should have gone to a legit fitter, rather than golf galaxy for that reason. They tend to shoehorn you, based on your overall handicap(which is a terrible idea) my loss of strokes comes from inconsistent driver and wedge game, not my irons! It’s probably why the mizuno 923 forged worked so well for me, but I choose the 790s cause I hit them slightly further and I’ve been a TM user for so long. The club I really regret not hitting was the T150. Think that would have been the perfect balance of forgiveness, yet still a bit smaller. I guess my point is, it’s so important to go to a good fitter that knows their stuff like this man. Cause a lot more can go into what irons you would benefit m, besides your overall handicap or average score, since there more to golf than irons. Matter of fact, I’m willing to bet I would have little issue playing a split set of 770 and P7MC. Same with wedges, anything over like 10 bounce is a disaster for me, unless it’s a lie that you pretty much need the bounce.

Good feedback. This is why our answer to so many questions about equipment is that it's player-dependent. Because it is! Clearly you've done your homework in trying to find something that works for you. The T150 is a blend of everything, you've got that right.

They nailed the feel on the Blueprint S. It and the Wilson CB are the only 2 that kept up with Mizuno in feel for me.

This was great! I’m in the market for one of these sets. Really leaning towards the Srixons or Wilson’s
