  • We continue the task of trying to break 90. Breaking 100 has been done enough times to realistically stick with breaking 90 and today we are at Warley park golf club in Essex which i have to say was a real pleasure to play. With my golf handicap sitting at 19.9 i think i could re visit and shoot low.
    Hope you enjoy this golf vlog.
    If you are new around here i have recently got my first handicap with England Golf and after some difficult rounds it came out at 22 handicap so we now try to break 90 and keep trying to lower my handicap from a high handicap golfer to mid handicap golfer and the aim one day to go even lower!
    How to get a golf handicap?
    I used England golf to obtain one which was and is a very easy process.

    Hi Lewis, Warley Park (especially front 9) is difficult, holes 6/7/9 will test anyone' s patience and its not surprising there were a few heads gone moments, keep the faith mate and play WP when its warmer and the run will help you. Its definitely one of those plotting courses.
    Last time I played I scored 92 with five pars but got beaten up by not driving to the right areas. Keep the belief your HC will fall

    Another great video, Looking forward to the next one.
    Definitely some good improvements this round although the score didn’t exactly reflect that.
    I think you said it, Abit more course management and abit softer with the putter and those scores will come down.
    Some good golf and a great channel ⛳️😊

      thanks a lot my friend. Thanks for the kind words. I absolutely agree with you. Better golf but poor scoring from a result of course management and putting but we move on and i think we move on in the right direction now.🙌

    Warley park looks nice! Certainly gonna have to give it a go soon… no matter what, there were big improvements this time compared to ash valley, heading the right way! 🙌🏽

      100! the major difference is when standing over the ball now with an iron i have a clear head as to what i am doing. i would say putting lost me a real good score

    The improvements in your swing are quite noticeable. It takes a few outings to get used to it so patience is the key. short game is ok. Putting on a course you don't normally play, weather changing and so early in the morning, you are just loading problems into your head, so really, don't beat yourself up. As you said its average golf and always enjoyable to watch. I am playing Toot Hill at 13;30 today. I don't expect a great round either 😀😀But, I will enjoy it.... Keep improving Lewis 👍👍

      yeah you are right. it will take a while to embed in however it is feeling good and less cluttered in my head when standing over the ball. you will have to let me know how it is, i want to try toot hill. go smash it💪

    With regards to the ball in the bunker that has water in it. You get free relief and should drop it back in the bunker no closer to the hole. You don't get full relief unless the bunkers are marked as GUR

    • @GOLFDAYS
      @GOLFDAYS  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ah ok thanks so still in the bunker just relief from water. Thanks for the info

    • @Matt_M85
      @Matt_M85 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GOLFDAYS Yep afraid so. It is a bit crap especially if there is lots of water as you may need to drop on the downslope at the front of the bunker. You can take it out of the bunker and play an unplayable for one penalty shot.

      @@Matt_M85 ok nice. thanks for this info. The bunker isn't a major concern. I always feel confident in greenside bunkers

    Good overall play mate! Only the 3putts that killed your round here, 6-7 3 putts is a card wrecker! Keep at it 👊🏌️‍♂️

    I feel like when you get the right shoulder pointing to the green in the follow thru you hit better drives

      interesting insight. i will have a look at that. With my coach we have only been looking at irons so far. We are looking at the driver next so so ironing things out.

    That second shot on Hole 6 - I think even Seve would have struggle to pull that shot off! Very brave to try, but sometimes the chip back to the fairway is the best option. Edit to add: You have a very decent swing and ball contact which doesn't reflect the overall score. I think just course management+putting and the scores will drop easily

      @GOLFDAYS  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha 😂 I agree totally. Looking back I should have come out to the side . Thanks for the nice comment my friend. I have been having lessons after last episode I completely lost all kinds of feel. My swing certainly feels so much easier and less to think about. Absolutely right the course management is a factor. Thanks for watching. On to the next one 👍
