I have his autographed ball from his first official autograph session after he made the majors and it's number 1 of 100 and it's certified. The value of that ball just keeps going up and up, could be my future retirement money.
not trying to be the bringing of bad news but autographed balls of players these days dont hold the values of HOFers from the early 1900s. There are so many more because now people realize how much money there is to be had in it but that also ultimately lowers their values. Still a nice 80-100 dollar baseball though
@@kp2highlights821 This isn't just an autographed ball that I got at a game, it's literally the very first certified autograph of his as a major leaguer, he only signed 100 at this event each are individually numbered.....I've already seen number 87 sell for over $2,000.
I grew up watching Wille Mays from 1954-1969. If he was in any park but windy Candlestick Park he would have hit 800 home runs instead of 660. He was the best player I ever saw. That being said, there is a new player that reminds me of Wille. He is rookie of the year (2018) Ronald Acuna of the Atlanta Braves. This year (2019), Ronald will lead in the league in the RUNS scored (over 100), he will hit over 100 RBI'S, he will hit 300, he will hit over 40 home runs, and will lead the league with over 40 stolen bases. I never saw a player with such power, speed, great arm for the outfield, since Wille Mays!
I love this guy every time he steps on the field something amazing is always going to happen he is going to truly be one of the best mlb players of this time

im from az and that was the hardest hit ball i’ve ever seen in my life. statcast said 460 but live it felt like he hit it 500+. most electric player in baseball and glad he’s on our side
@AMERICA FIRST It was a rhetorical question. Phillies will be paying for this gross waste of money for a very long time, even after Harper is inevitably released unconditionally by them. The Braves, on the other hand, got an absolute steal in Acuna. He would have had a half a billion dollar career had he chose to wait for F/A and look at offers from the AL. After Harper and Manny signed for $300m+ it sets up players like Acuna and Soto for even more. In the next 3 years we will see $250m+ contracts for young pitchers. I'm not saying that any baseball player is worth that much, I'm just saying how much they will be paid because of the ridiculously insane $300m+ contracts signed this season. The billion dollar career is coming, and its coming quickly. Mike Trout is well over half way there and could be the first depending on his next contract/FA signing. He is over $600m when his current contract runs out. If he plays into his early 40's, which a lot of players are doing these days, he has a shot at the $1b career. When you look at the overall trend in payroll increases and consider what the average superstar will be making in the year 2030 then you can reasonably say that Trout could make $50m a year by that time. It will only take 4 years of that to push him over the $1b mark.
Soto exists too you know. Don't get me wrong, Acuna is really good. He deserves to be getting the attention, but everyone just seemed to forget about Juan Soto this year.
I think you can get rid of "Young" from the title and start the debate between RA and Trout. I give a very slight edge to Trout because he has a better eye. But, Acuña has better speed.
So basically there was a science day in sun trust and it was a field trip.We got to see about 2 innings.Of course nothing happens and we go back to school. Then when I’m about to get in our bus I see fireworks.I was mad .Little did I know that is was Acuna’s 40th homer. But everyone in my class booed Bryce Harper

It may be his first as a major leaguer but he is still going to sign plenty more in his career
Lol
You know you're good when MLB makes a highlight for you halfway thru the season

Molina?? Comeback from 2017 idiot
Kershaw, Wainwright, and Harper? Hahahaha do you even watch baseball? Every team would rather Acuna than Harper.

Great player incredible opposite field hitting power wow braves have a Hof player. Go Phillies
Sorry about McCutchen man 😉😉😉
6:50 look at him slap Arcia’s hand away 🤣🤣
if he keeps this up he’s worth every million we paid him
If he keeps it up he will end being underpaid. He is that good
If he keeps this up, this contract will go down as the best bargain in the history of the game!
I Love Ronald Acuna.jr
I just got my first Acuna Jr. card in a pack of 2019 Topps Chrome, today!
😎
love this guy!! Future MVP!
4:32 gahhh. he’s easily my favorite baseball player. so smooth, so good.

Beautiful swing. He’s not a big guy, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him slug 45+ homers a season.

The Marlin killer!!
UniqueGamer513 Everyone in the nl east is a marlin killer
Except for the SBs, Acuña reminds me a lot of Rickey Henderson...arriba Venezuela!!!
I'd rather have him than Harper or Trout. 200 million less than either of them and is probably the future best player in the game close already.
I agree 100%
Rather have trout tbh, but I’m taking Ronald over Bryce any day
Trout is the best player in baseball
Nah, Acuna over Harper but NEVER over Trout
@@A-OKEI9510 For a long time to come. He's the GOAT. Enjoy it while you can.
If Harper is worth $330m, how much is Acuna worth?

Mark W nah, Trout always gonna be better
its not even close, trout is BY FAR better.
Most hitters are taught to have that knob of the bat pointing back on an angle. He almost does the opposite very interesting
Fire whoever made this they literally. used the opposing teams calls every play
90% of his doubles would easily be triples if he didn’t stand at the plate 5 seconds after hitting the ball.
Yeah okay. He'd probably get thrown out a lot of times too if he went for 3 every time
Who else sees the similarities between Acuna and Trout's swing
I could watch Acuna hit dingers all day.
You guys think He's one of the top 10 players in the game?
Aj Dutton He’s honestly on pace to be as good, if not better than Trout.

Andruw jones 2.0
Andrew never had the batting average and Acuna isn't great of defense like Jones.
To be honest, Andruw Jones 2.0 is the actual son of Andruw Jones... andruw jones jr, the vandy commit/future 1st rounder but I like the comparison.
Nice highlights, but show us his complete game - his fielding, his arm, you know, stuff a complete baseball player can do.
