I like that 3rd baseman they signed. He looks like a good hitter. Braves have a good young lineup and I like them adding the veteran 3rd baseman. Braves should contend for the wildcard at a minimum.
@@jimsmith1506 Yeah Donaldson is very good and I think he will help our team. We have such a young team that is already good enough to make the playoffs. So a little more experience we could make a run but I can maybe see us trying to win it all this year.

There have been many Rookie Of The Year winners in the recent past that were somewhat questionable in such an honor. For the first time in a long time...there was no doubt about Ronald Acuña's validity in winning this award in 2018. Think about how his numbers would have been had he not been injured by Urena's arrogance! And in 2019, Acuña is living up to every penny spent on his contract thus far. If he stays healthy, he will set records this year.
He is a young superstar for sure, and it is a joy to watch him play. We all know why he was not on the team from jump street last year. But his stats could have been even better. Braves did norhing to improve starting or relief pitching. Lost Sanchez and a fine backup catcher in Suzuki. Acuna and all hitters will have to over achieve greatly for a 2nd place or better finish this year to make up for the lack of pitching. Very disappointing as a fan fir them not get a veteran or two.
