Cyndi Lauper is an eternal idol. We love Cyndi Lauper . No singer has healed my heart as much as Cyndi Lauper . I still vividly remember the overly beautiful Cyndi Lauper I saw at the Budokan in September 1986.
I was maybe a year old when "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" came. If it came on I would rock back and forth to at one. It's my jam. I've always felt ties to her music.
...And tear down walls she did for an entire generation of female singers/artists. Her and Madonna ... With the right tools (MTV) they created an entire new standard for the female artist/singer and re-wrote the rules. The biggest one being a woman in complete control of career that is still dominated by a male CEO.
It is impossible to know how the timing of profound messages are selected for the changes all human beings will go through. I heard your song play on the radio inside a grocery store but my device failed to save it to my list. I dunno if it was AI that found your tune but I am more than surprised by what a little icon reel can do amongst the many things distracting us from surfing the waters of life. You are forever an iconic voice and artist. We are blessed to be living with all those people you carry in your heart at this remarkable time in our history 💛.
Love Cyndi, but didn’t realise she could be a bit of a bore. If a women doesn’t consider herself a feminist, it doesn’t mean she isn’t historically aware, and lacking understanding of the importance of the suffragette movement. I think it suggests they may not agree with all modern feminist ideology.
So concise. Most intelligent about life. This video is a GEM.

She speaks direct, and from the heart. Love it.
And the way she lovingly speaks of Seymour Stein, he must be a dear gentleman and a rarity in the industry.
I love Cyndi Lauper. She is adorable. Love that accent.

When you know where you came from, you know where you're going. Wisdom talking
