we live in Kenya but we never appreciate how beautiful and blessed our country is, we are caught up so much in politics of divide that we forget the sheer beauty of Kenya, thanks so muck Mekenze in kenya for showing us this farm and also opening up your beautiful home for us to see what it takes to live in rural Meru, l wish your family all the best, l like all of you but i am team Londynn, she is a go getter.

Still can't get over how people from the west fully get on beds and seats with their shoes still on. Shocks me everytime, I wouldn't do it even if I was wearing brand new shoes, straight out of the box😂.
We all are brought up differently I guess 😅
Not all people of the west do that depends on parenting like anything else,I don’t tolerate dat in my home if anything u leave ur smelly shoes at the door way

I lived in a nature reserve when I was around 10 -13 years, and we had lots of ostrich. It was not enough to make me familiar with ostrich, I fear ostrich, I admire your guys bravery.
They are a bit intimidating for sure.. they’re so big!

It is amazing tagging along virtually with you guys in your site seeing and trying out different fruits and plants. I loved every minute of it!❤
My brother showed me Muguka but I never tried it. I found out Muguka a family or khat, is a psychedelic plant. I know people who are addicted and it caused them their teeth and some people experience psychosis effect. Only Somalians and coast people were known to chew khat but, these days you find muguka/khat users in Kiambu and all over the country which is sad. Muguka happens to be more affordable because it is poor quality of khat.

Oh mbirimbi so sour but eating it raw with a pinch of salt tastes nice. We use it to make achari which is an appetiser
