Thanks for the comparison. I use the following Hoya soft focus filters: · Hoya Duto soft focus filter 77mm for 85mm Nikkor and RB67 · Hoya #B Diffuser filter 77mm for 85mm Nikkor and RB67
Hi! Thanks for the very informative video! Need some clarification about diffusion filters. Firstly, I intend to broadcast video on TH-cam. What type of filter you suggest in order to make the skin smoother? (my digital video camera is Panasonic HC-V808 with 62 mm lens thread). Secondly, does a 62mm filter fits my camera or must be bigger in diameter, for example a 67 mm? Thanks in advance.

Excellent resource. Great work man!
thank you!
Never knew white mist filters existed. You might be the first person on youtube to talk about them.
yeah, usually everyone just raves about the Black-mist ones. Glad to highlight something overlooked if someone hadn't done this already.
Short and concise explanation, great video!
thank you!
Absolute legend for this video! I accidentally ordered a white mist without realising..
thanks so much for tuning in
Do you like it?

I love this video! May i know what strength/stop of the filter you're using?
thanks so much! When I made this Hoya didn't have strength options so it think by default they were 1 or the strongest
Thank you! This is the only clear explanation of the difference I found.
so glad to hear! thanks the taking the time to check it out and writing a comment. Cheers!

as u said, if we need a dreamy look for pictures, white diffusion is a best choice. But why do just few people want to use it?
for some reason the "black pro-mist" is popular on TH-cam, so that's what people use
great video, thanks! where can i buy the white mist?
Hoya filters has them
I have a Sony zve-10 camera do you know what size I should get for my camera it’s the kit lens 50mm
look on the lens. It normally states the filter size or you can always google it.
Awesome demonstration. Thanks!
Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Great video dude!
thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Interesting! Do you know how these two Hoya's compare to the effects from the Tiffen Pro Mist line of filters?
I would imagine they are pretty similar w/ the only difference being that Tiffen offers different strengths.
hey where can I find that under armor photo??
are you looking for a print or want to license the image? You can send me an email for more info. thanks

Thank you 🙏🏼
thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching. cheers!
Actually you got it backwards, wider focal lengths require higher strengths of filtration.
Interesting, thanks for the feedback
