The position you place it is way too low and towards the driver side, that's terrible distraction there, it needs to be in the midde and as high as possible.

Are you referring to the double tape? One side is in red? If so that is the extra tape in case one day you decided to relocate the camera from one location/car to another

@@TKBlog no, not the double sided pad, it came with these black felt pads as well, one side sticks somewhere, and the other side is soft black felt
