I’m about to cry. This reminds me of the diecast cars I had when I lived in England. I probably had 5 or 6. My stepdad never sent them to me. Along with my other toys. Gijoe and transformers .
Your collection is big. One thing I know for sure is that I do not want my collection to become so big. In fact, the fact that I am still collecting I credit to a decision I made fifteen years ago - to be very choosy and selective and curate my collection as I limited the max number of models I wanted to own. Once I reached it, it meant selling a model if I wanted to add one. The best decision I made, and I believe it improved my collection, focused it, and made it more enjoyable. But that's me. I am glad your collection is your and not mine (bet not many in this echo-chamber say this...) Cheers!
Watched the video nothing but respect for your presentation as well as staging. I have a meager 312 in my diecast collection, plan to start buying more. But prices have gone insane in the last 35 yrs, my scale of choice is 1:18. For what it's worth anybody that criticizes you about some dust can get bent! All diecast collector's know only way to have a totally dust free diecast is to keep in a sealed case, preferably glass. Looks your just like myself sometimes you want to rearrange them with easy access. Glad I checked this out nice to know others out there have as much passion as I when it comes diecast cars!
Your collection is huge and quality packed. You collect what you like, as it should be. My collection has reached the limits of space and I have to be mindful of that when acquiring new additions. Yours is one one of the best I've seen from a diversity standpoint. I look at people's collections as a museum/slice of automotive history! There is no right or wrong way to collect.👍
Glad you are getting to expand the room so you can show the cars. Have you ever considered using that ceramic stuff to reduce the need for extensive dusting?
Very impressive, I've been collecting for around 30 years, and have around 3500 pieces on display, although most of mine are 1/64, and 1/43. Please look into buying a Kozak dry polishing cloth, they're great for removing dust without spraying a liquid on the cars. I cut the cloth into small sections to make it easier to use on the smaller cars.
Found you by pure accident and being a car guy and a lover of all car history I can learn, wow I am impressed. I am a neat freak and I can only imagine what it takes just to keep a basic level of clean. Very nice, and remember the organization and placement is all 100% up to you, and haters exist everywhere you go. (They are just jealous of what you have and the work you have done.) They probably have one or two cars to keep clean and fail at that alone. Very nice and I am trying to name all the models and failing very well so I have work to do learning more German cars. So cool. I will be back and show others. (But I did see my VW Sirocco models)
Fantastic collection! No need to apologize for anything about your presentation. You've got lots of models I've never seen. I only have 300+ in my collection that I display in cases. A little trivia: Check out your blue Exoto Corvette road racer - mine's in the #50 livery. It was the first Vette raced in that series. The 50 car's full sized spare tire, required by the rules at the time, was a Firestone, not a Goodyear. That's how the first car was tracked because the Goodyear Tire didn't fit in the trunk and the Firestone did. Later Vette race cars fixed that problem. Exoto picked up that interesting detail in the model which I thought was cool. Guessing you view your collection as I do mine as a beautiful work of 3D art. Thanks for sharing! John
Exceptional work, thank you for sharing it with us. A decade ago I collected some vintage Lego sets, quickly ran out of money and space, aside from pushback at home, and just stopped. Amazing collection! I have a pretty big one too, and some are getting dusty... I do a "car wash" session about once a year, so much work! I use vacuum, warm water, soft soap, tooth brush and lots of delicate passion!
Just one word...."WOW" !! I think you can be termed a "completist", and you've done very well at that. Many $$$ invested, I'd be shocked at the total. You've got a lot of high end makes, and I know because I'm a diecast collector (addict) myself! I just recently hit the 800 milestone. But I have to finish the basement to accommodate more shelves. I've currently got less than half displayed on shelf. I have made labels for each, with country flag, year/make/model. And I too know that dust is a diecast collector's worst enemy. And not only is dusting time consuming, it can also be risky since some cars, like the ones from the 50's & 60's, have so many surface details that pieces can get caught in the cloth. I now use a smooth cloth, like the type used for eyeglasses, works much better. I started collecting in 2002 and have seen a big increase in the cost of diecast. I'm in Canada and buying from the US for me is expensive, not just because of the poor dollar conversion but shipping to Canada for some reason is now ridiculous. I can buy diecast from Germany (or other places in Europe) and get diecast cheaper with good shipping cost. So it's a good time to stop collecting now.... Been nice seeing your awesome video.....I had to rewind many times to get a better look....ha ha! Cheers!
@@JamesonsDiecastCars Yes, I agree.....a bit too much....ha ha! Absolutely fantastic collection you have. I have a similar collection that's all in their boxes that I'll be displaying when I retire soon. The dust would drive me crazy and creates so much work in cleaning the models and every time you clean one it risks damaging it so I plan on having mine in sealed cabinets. Get's expensive but worth it in the long run.

I have about 50 1/18, and I'm starting a 1/24 NASCAR collection. I'm keeping it very limited, only purchasing elite cars in runs of 500 or less, or autographed.
Incredible collection. I could spend hours in your basement looking at all these! I’ve seen several of your cars that I own. Jealous of the 1:8 Pochar Lambo too. Years ago I almost bought the white Aventador. Glad to see the “special” cars in cases. I did the same thing. Mind you I only have 24 in boxes compared to yours. Lol! Just need to win the lottery now to play catch up! Ha ha
Love your car collection.. just ignore all the negative comments. Try using the air spray on the interior. Which they use for computers keyboards. I haven't tried that yet myself.

I sat through the entire video and some of the thoughts that I were that A) I wish the video was longer B) I could spend all the time I have in this space C) You have a fantastic collection.
I wanted the video to be longer even after viewing the Part 2 which i did soon after viewing this video! And I'm glad to hear that you do intend to open a museum which was my exact thought when i was watching it. Would love to visit it when it opens!
@@JamesonsDiecastCars Let me know when your diecast museum is ready, I may add my collection to your museum! I have been collecting for many years based on how busy my life is, my budget, time to find them and buy them, get rid of some (wish I did not) Let my friend displays them in his fancy cars repair shop etc
Hi, you have a very nice and extensive collection and perfectly filmed. As another person has already quoted, You're a inspiration for myself. I have also been a collector for years, but only from 1 brand, namely 1/18 Mercedes, which is also extensive enough. I also know the problems and other inconveniences when displaying the models and installing newcomers and the like. My cars are now too close together, I have almost no space left, fortunately they are behind glass. So I have no complaints about dust. I have +/- 700 models including trucks. Not to forget, the original packaging still takes up a lot of space, I have all placed it in my attic. Your models are stored neatly and orderly and well-arranged. My collection started somewhere in 2006 I think, my wife is not fond of it at all. I sacrificed an entire room for it (rooms enough), I admit I am addicted to it, it has become an obsession for me. Your video is very successful and is a joy to watch. You may also put my collection on video hahaha! Question, which LED lights did you use, I want to place it with me too.
Nice collection, my favourite was your Mercedes E190 Cosworth. Would be nice to see some current Rally 1 and 3 vehicles up in there. Aslo I agave trying to find a land rover discover mk2 without the headlight update. Any assistance would be great x
What an ensemble! There's so many cars here that I didn't even know they made in 1/18 (like that Hyundai Equus, what brand made that?); along with so many others I'd love to add to my own collection one day! That Maybach 57, John Lennon's Rolls-Royce, Buick Estate Wagon, I could go on. I definitely can relate on the whole "metal vs resin" front too; I've never bought a resin model until about a year ago. Most of the time I'd prefer to hold out for a metal casting with opening parts; but there are some (like that Cadillac Brougham) that are really tempting nonetheless. Once I get mt own place I'd love to do a video like this; and who knows, maybe by then I'll be back to the numbers I was at before I sold off most of my Maistos! Can't wait to see what you add next!
Very nice collection but how do you keep the cars from not rolling off the shelves? Also glass cases would stop them from getting dusty but they are expensive. Best way to own cars because these ones don't need gas.
I have almost 5000 1/64th scale cars and I live in a trailer house, so I don't really have the room to display them all, which makes me sad, but I am still trying to find ways to get them all up and out on display
Just wanted to say you have a very impressive collection of very nice models. This is what I wanted to do, but apartment living says no lol. I have 50 + cars. Thank You for your video! 👍🏻
Still is my dream at 20 years old, except I'm 330 cars in, and they're all 1/64. Not a fan of any other size. I like playing with cars not too big, and are small enough yet have so much detail
I collect mostly 1/64 1/32 scale models of yesteryear like ,Duesenberg, Cords ,Bugatti, Auburn from the 20s 30s 40s 50s. model T's and the long fin vehicles from the 50s which you have so I stuck around till end of video. Thanks for sharing👍😀
Really nice going to start something similar, not as large in my new home in few months ..thank you for taking them out of the packages too .. I currently get flack from friends saying Im ruining there value
What luck to some that I have so much money to fulfill their dreams as a collector, I have been struggling for years with my strict collection with muscle cars. Very hard especially at what prices they sound now and the fact that I have to wear them on many of the Americas. collection of note 10.
Brilliant collection and i watched the whole video, just great, the only thing i would do is to make perspex frames to protect them from the dust, and i would place the little rubber stop in front of the rear wheel, its just me going over board, i could have watched the video for another 30 minutes, thankyou and all the very best from George.
You took me back to the 80s, great collection, I admire your time into this video and collection of a fever me and my 4 year old son have , he has 4 sisters , need a hobby with him lol

I sat through the entire video and some of the thoughts that I were that A) I wish the video was longer B) I could spend all the time I have in this space C) You have a fantastic collection.
1) part two is uploaded, it's another 3 minutes. 2) The goal is to keep growing and build a space as a museum open to the public. 3) Thanks!
From Amazon, "Onforu 32.8FT White LED Strip Lights, 6000K Super Bright Dimmable Tape Light Kit"

The best video in your youtube career
The brand of the Equus is called MiniKraft.
Very nice collection but how do you keep the cars from not rolling off the shelves? Also glass cases would stop them from getting dusty but they are expensive. Best way to own cars because these ones don't need gas.
I built the shelves to have lips and cars that roll too easily have small rubber stoppers in front of a tire.
I have almost 5000 1/64th scale cars and I live in a trailer house, so I don't really have the room to display them all, which makes me sad, but I am still trying to find ways to get them all up and out on display
Sell them and buy an apartment.
@@edospina97 why would I buy an APARTMENT, if I buy anything, it'll be a HOUSE
@@edospina97 besides, they don't sell apartments where I live, they rent them out
@@princessnodak Agreed but where I live houses start at $500k. Mobile homes start at $200k the same as a condo/apartment.
@@edospina97 I got my trailer for 7K, but he just wanted rid of it, they usually run 80-100K here
Your collection is vert envious, just imagine if the were all full size, well done
Отличная коллекция друг!
Awesome video👍🏾👍🏾 enjoyed it thoroughly
Wow, your collection is awesome, buddy 😊👍
Just wanted to say you have a very impressive collection of very nice models. This is what I wanted to do, but apartment living says no lol. I have 50 + cars. Thank You for your video! 👍🏻
My dream when i was 8 year old😂
SAME
SAMEEEEEE
I'm 8 years old now my dream is the same
My dream now at 52
Still is my dream at 20 years old, except I'm 330 cars in, and they're all 1/64. Not a fan of any other size. I like playing with cars not too big, and are small enough yet have so much detail
AutoArt, Kyosho, Norev and Welly Gta are the most expensive and realistic Car models. 😊
Don't forget about CMC, BBR and More!
A gruta do ouro . Abraços de Portugal

As stated in my '23 video. It's Tata. Same as Jaguar lol
I like, no pictures, figures or diaramas to distract my eyes from the cars.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful collection. You show your collection any way you want.
Thanks! Please check out the new and improved collection video for '23.
Incredible collection!!! I like the mix with all brands, awesome👍👍
