These were the type of throws that made me end up unable to play baseball and 4 years later my shoulders have finally nearly recovered, I sacrificed my body so much when I was playing I ended up taking a break that lead to me not returning, most of my team did as well we just played to hard to much

There are some in the community who believe it should be named after a player from the 1928 Pirates, Cust O'deein, but because of his Irish heritage and racism of the time, he is largely overlooked.
Shout out to the catchers for applying the tag. It can't be easy to catch a one hopper with a dude barrelling down on you, even if they did take away collisions at the plate

I played, blessed with great arm, pitcher and right fielder, fly ball to the fence, frozen rope to the plate,no hop, unfortunately it was 10 ft. Towards the 3rd base side of the plate, right through a windshield of a conversion van, was high school game, 305 ft. Throw, lol. Played on past high school ball though.
