How do you like new 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 in the MANUFAKTUR Signature Silicon Grey and MANUFAKTUR Signature Truffle Brown Nappa leather spec?! What about the sound?
Very nice coverage of the features. The loud sound is a negative for me. And I prefer some color, not a shade of charcoal. My suits are charcoal shades, I like my cars in green or blue, for an SUV. For a sedan type, the other side of the spectrum, into the red-yellow range. The interior Truffle Brown matches well with the charcoal.
The screen fully integrated into the dash is much nicer than the pizza box tablet they glue into even the Maybach. Just one voice among millions, but I would have bought an SL Roadster if it had had the same integrated screen. Because of the pizza box, I passed it up and bought an E Class instead. Probably a good thing, because I love the E Class. But if they put a fully integrated screen into the V8 Roadster I may be unable to resist - as the Mercedes exec said, "This is not a car you buy because you need it, this is a car you buy because you want it!". The GLS 63 is a really big SUV! That seems like a car you buy because you need it.
Depends on the person. If I'd plan to keep the car for 4-5 years I'd go for this Manufaktur interior, if the plan would be to switch in 1-2 years then I'd go for Exclusive Nappa. Also it depends if these 3 Manufaktur colors are something what you like. I have a friend and he wants beige interior so even if he would be willing to pay for Manufaktur it isn't available in beige..
@@IvanSensei Personally, I find it too expensive an option, especially as it doesn’t get you more leather surfaces than the Exclusive Nappa package. For 10k more, one would expect leather on the door pockets, door sills, seat bases... The difference in quality doesn’t justify the absurd jump in price, imo, at least.
I like the colors that interior comes in. I wish it still had a carbon fiber section on the steering wheel, though. I'm not sure if it's worth an extra 9k.
@IvanSensei I see that now. I thought once you selected Manufaktur Signature colors, you couldn't also have the AMG performance wheel in carbon. That would bring my build spec to $180K
FYI about Night package in GLS 63 🙃 The Night Package adds jet-black accents to the menacing look of the AMG GLS 63. The front splitter and air-intake fins are finished in deep gloss black, as are the side mirror housings, side window surrounds, and rear apron trim. Black chrome tailpipes and matte black roof rails complete the transformation.

@@davesmith5656it’s an AMG, you expect it to be quiet?
@ --- 😅 For the price tag I don't expect it to sound like some teenager knocked the mufflers off, and give my family headahces.
@@davesmith5656 That’s what a big V8 gets you now days sooo 😭😭
Thank you very much Ivan for for keeping us informed of the latest technology and engineering of German automobiles. God bless.
Thank you too!
S63 AMG Coupe is what I'm waiting on. Good effort on the video, nonetheless.

GLS 63 combines a need and a want I'd say. Congrants on your E, what is the spec?
@@IvanSensei --- Thank you, for the congrats! The spec is "Too fast for me to really know how to drive it!"
Thanks 😊
Thank you too
Love this color combination. It's a lot of grey, but it works.
Yes it does, I guess new popular shade for MB/AMG
nice!
Glad you like it!

Is there a difference in the leather quality between MANUFAKTUR seats and the normal Nappa seats? Or is it just the color?
Feels like a bit more quality to the touch to me, also smells more like a leather
@ I see. Do you think it’s worth 10k€ over the Exclusive Nappa leather interior?

Anyway, it's an amazing car which I would definitely would like to buy!
Agreed! In which exterior and interior color?
That dead pedal should be metal for that amount of money

Does the sound system sound booming ?
Sounds great to me, this is the top version of Burmester
Night Pkg but the rear trim is still chrome. Still a great spec.
This is how it is with GLS 63
The 2025 Mercedes AMG GLS 63 vs The 2025 Ford Explorer ST
What do you want to say by this comparision?
@IvanSensei Yeah
Sorry but I don't understand your point

Night package but with chrome on the back 🙃

One drawback to the fingerprint thing: if you cut your finger and have a bandaid on, you can't use your car?
I guess you can always tap code on the screen like I do it now without a sensor in my car or as it works with the smartphones
The chinese cars are far superior in terms of technology & cost. No longer gonna be conned by the expensive german tincans
