@@bennettsbikesocial I agree, it’s a great idea for a series. I do think it would be better choosing bikes from different dealers though. A bit like Location, Location, Location 😂 go and find the best bike, at the right price, with the beat accessories. 👌 I appreciate Superbike Factory have probably paid to be in this though which makes the series viable.
A modern reimagining of the old Men + Motors series Used Bike Heaven. Don’t give us the ‘will need to Google it’ line either, you’re both old enough to remember it. It featured some guy named Richard Hammond - I wonder what ever happened to him? Anyway, the Supersport was clearly the best option for him of those 3, very surprised he din’t go for it, although I’m glad he didn’t discard with the old ‘servicing costs and reliability’ concerns - they are not a thing any more!
Honestly, I'd never seen it before but then again, it's a familiar format (Escape to the Country, Location Location Location, A Place in the Sun, etc.)!
Happy he found the bike he likes. But I really like John Milbank's green Kawi that we often see in his garage, in his videos. Love that bike! I hope in the future you'll go also for older models, because they still have a lot to offer and at a much lower price point.
Wow guys I really hope this becomes a permanent thing as what a great way for riders to try different bikes + a great watch & great collaboration with the Superbike Factory!!! 👌🏻👍🏻

Glad you enjoyed and yes, that's definitely one of the elements we can include to make it better next time. This was a pilot episode to gauge interest levels and we hope to be making some more episodes soon. Cheers, Michael
As others have mentioned, same idea as used bike heaven from the 2000's. Still a great idea for a show and very entertaining. Please continue this series. Subscribed cos of this episode.
The bikes at SBF Donnington are a disgrace. After being around the whole showroom I counted only 3 bikes that had been shown a sponge. All of the others were covered in grime & dirt from previous owners. Rusty chains a plenty. They really should not be presented for general sale
You're quite correct , this company is a finance company masquerading as a motorcycle dealer. I work for a main dealer and we send all the PX's we wouldn't sell in our dealership to this company , they buy anything. I too was shocked when I went for a walk in the SF showroom , lots of rust and scratches. Stay away!

Surprising choice from John with the Z1000SX. I’d have chucked an MT-09 SP or maybe XSR 900 in the mix to compete with the 765 RS. Great show, looking forward to more episodes!

Very interesting idea for a new type of tube with the user in the center of the frame! The guest can make or break these series, the first one had an interesting story and he is a pleasant fellow! Wishing him safe rides on the motorcycle he will chose from now on!
Great episode. I have an 18' street triple rs and it is a great bike. Best bike i've ever owned. When i ride i get a lot of people asking and talking about it and have an occasional telling me old triumph stories. It's a great time. Wonderful bike.
Wow ! Never seen a bike showroom like that. The choice is staggering and so are the prices. The last bike I bought in the UK way back in something like 1995 was a GSXR 1100L for I think 5300 pounds. So all these years later I could have had that Ducati in the 8000 range. My local second hand bike dealers have a choice of only a few and the prices are up there. Service is generally appalling and getting parts hopeless. They have a policy here of only making overseas parts orders when they have a batch to order. If you just missed an order you could have a long wait. I tend to source my own from UK and bring them in myself. Way quicker.
This was excellent. I liked the objections he gave for all the bikes. Its important to point out the flaws and make a final decision. I am going through a rough time choosing a bike that can beat the speed twin for my needs having test ridden close to 10 bikes.

I was thinking Suzuki SV650 as a budget option, Honda NT1100 which is a more ready made sport tourer, which he said he may want, and the Aprilia Tuono 660 as a budget stretcher. The SV and 660 can be equipped with over the seat bags and he could also get a backpack for touring. The SV650 has no real rider aids, save for ABS, but with the lower power he wouldn't have to worry about yeeting himself into a hedge again. The Honda is great for his weekend jaunts by himself with good power and handling and for one or two up touring. As for the Aprilia well its just a perfect all rounder, bit pricey but a great bike.

Great show guys👍. A bit surprised the Aprilia RS660 wasn’t considered as it would have been close on ideal for the remit. Good choices though except the Kawasaki would have bored the guy after a few weeks ownership. Post edit…wasn’t far off as I see he bought the fab Tuono 660😁. Not as well specced or built as the Triumph but a hoot to ride.
Thank you, yes there was certainly plenty of choice. I fancied going for an S1000XR but the Supersport just jumped out. He actually made an offer on it but then ended up with the Aprilia. Agree with the Kwak, it was definitely a bit left-field... and the weather for the test ride really didn't help. Cheers, Michael

Too sporty for everday riding and the occasional tour and not sporty enough for a full on track weapon (I'd want more power)
More of these, please 🔝🎬🎥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you! Judging by the reaction, it looks like today's job is to find another candidate and find a date when we can film the next episode!
Cheers, Michael
@@bennettsbikesocial must admit I prefer the S1000r over the XR version but prefer the MT10SP over either😉 have ridden them all…
I loved this series!!! Keep it up what an awesome show!
Thank you, we're hoping to do some more. This was a tester to see what the reaction was like.
Excellent idea for a series and great budget point more please
Wow, I last saw Hargreaves at Cadwell Park Frenzy.
This was nice. Hope it continues.
Thanks, so do we!

Got to say that Supersport looks lovely! Great choice!
