I agree. This is much more useful, and entertaining, than the new bike press release 'test rides' we see. Probably not many folk who can afford a new bike and those tested on press release events are usually in great weather, on smooth roads and with free food, drink, accomodation and entertainment for the 'tester' - so not that useful as we don't see great weather or smooth roads in the UK and the review will be biassed due to the good time the reviewer is having.
This What Bike Next series is real people with real budgets and pits several bikes against each other - and not even those usually clumped into a group test.
It's awesome. Wish there were more.

Another episode so quickly? Yea! I really like this series and I do hope you keep making them. My motorcycle is named Phil, Phil Spydermon to be exact. Partly because its a 2011 Can Am Spyder RT-S and fans of the show Friends will know the other part lol! I really like Phils' current bike, and after hearing what he is looking for I'm wondering if just an up grade to the 1200 might be the answer. Also, maybe the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 instead of the Scrambler. This is very difficult given the constraints with his knee angle and not wanting a cruiser. I've got 2015 Ducati Diavel (Sport cruiser with standard riding position), 2013 Multistrada, Yamaha Tenere 700 (which is probably outside the budget), 2011 Kawasaki Concours 14 and 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000. Lets see what the gents picked. 1250R puts about 20 degrees more bend in his knee than he said he was comfortable with, so Im guess its out. Did you guys not confer with cycle ergo when making your choices? Interesting choices all around, can not wait for the next episode!

How about giving the guest 6 choices, two from each bike selector. An hour test ride would be too long with 6 bikes, but how about just a 30 or 40 minute ride each. That way, the guest would have more choice and actually select a bike. I've watched every episode and the guest has never selected a bike as of date. Just an idea. Cheers for the videos. @@MartinDaviesFilms. Hi, it’s possible to scratch foot pegs (or the smaller additional metallic parts attached to the foot pegs known colloquially as ‘hero blobs’) if a bike is leant over when cornering. Cruisers and bobbers are typical of this style. In this episode Phil is an experienced rider and tall too, so ground clearance can also refer to the seat height and how comfortable he’s likely to be with the seat to peg and seat to floor distance. Hope that makes some degree of sense but let me know if not.

Fun video/ Well done!!! My two cents.... maybe check-out the Vstrom 800 RE or DE, or Honda Transalp?!? Or a used BMW R1250GS, or that Triumph 1200 Scrambler?!? Anyway, most important is getting something that overall "best" suits your needs/ wants!!!
