I have the forward-backward twist issue on my BMW 328i 2015 drivers seat .. the right side moves, but the left doesn't... thanks this video helps me understand what could be the problem.
Hi could use a passenger seat to replace the driver seat , meaning is there a way to switch the seat switches from one side to the other , my driver seat is bad and been looking for a driver seat in good condition I could not find any because they used more than the passenger seat , I keep finding passenger seats in a good condition, the question is there is way to covert the passenger seat to a driver seat by switching the seatbelt buckle and the seat switch to the other side ?
My e38's upper backrest adjustment is not working, what could be possible fault? I believe they don't use the cable unlike the typical twisted seats. Are you able to pinpoint the exact location of the motor? thanks
Thanks for watching our video. Unfortunately it would be impossible to pinpoint exact location without physically inspecting seat. We recommend doing more research or taking your seat to get checked out at shop. Good luck
Ok. My 2001 525i driver seat back won't even turn on. It began moving all the way to end position with just a touch. Then it stopped reacting to the switch all together. Is it the little control module or the motor? are the same year 3 series motors compatible?
Nicely done Sir thank you for the information I have a BMW 850ci 1991 and when I seat back the right side moves but the left side doesn't move. Is there a gear on the right side and a cable moving the left side? Any information or advice would be appreciated. With the left side not moving it may create problems getting to the bolts that anchor the seat to the car, how should I approach this problem?
so im not sure if this will work but it might where would i find the male Harness thing are what ever you used to hook the battery and the motor up ? and did you just use a car battery?
i had to unplugg my seat since it moved forward and backwards without touchinh anything while i drove the steering wheel also did the same movement the placement of the steering wheel moved alot :/ idk what fixing needs to be done to my 97' BMW 740il
dude i have some bmw seats that im trying to install on my old school but the seats did not come with the controllers would you happen to know how to get around that??

Where’s the recline motor located ?
Bimmermerchant The lower front motor that has to be disconnected to remove the seat, the one beside it, how do you get it back into it's bracket

No, can't switch parts from passenger to driver

Fanny Torres check your brake lights, you will notice that stay on all the time. Your steering wheel tilt doesn't work either right?
yup steering wheel tilt doesn't function and in the same time the seat doesn't have movement

how do you take out the passenger seat in 740i 93?
Sorry, we haven't worked on that year model, however, seat should have two front bolts and two rear bolts, remove those and seat should come out.
