Props to Dale for being the one guy who actually went beyond his remit to call in advance and derail the whole runaway train!
As someone who is 15 and been trying to make a manga/webcomic for two- three years. But keep on burying and throwing away ideas due to my own insecurities of my writing. I’m glad I found your channel since it’s so fun and inspirational. I enjoy your story times and webcomic advice or tutorials. Keep up the amazing work and can’t wait to see what you have in the future.
Same, i’m 14 and been struggling with my story ideas for years.

My tip is to not do many projects at once and to try to starts small. Key word try cause I can’t do the second tip for some odd reason
Tell me when / if you ever post it! Even if it’s small, I’d love to see it! But no pressure if you’d rather not share it, of course
I just want to say that I think it's super dope you're trying to make a webcomic at your age! We need more storytellers! Some projects take a while, and it's okay if 5 years later you've finally put all the pieces together to make a webcomic. Insecurities are a hassle to deal with, you have so much time to develop your world and stories without the pressure of sharing it with the world. You're going to do great stuff!

Thx for you’re kind words. Right now I’m trying to develop my art and art style. I actually literally gotten done finding a way to draw shoes 😅
Star's story about the shipping of her second Kickstarter books brings up a point I remind fellow small business people about: make sure you know who the real customers are of the vendors you depend upon. To the shipping company, Star wasn't their customer no matter how much she had prepaid for said shipping when she ordered those books. To them, she was the consignee (as she mentioned) but their real customer, that is, the entity that was directly paying them to move those books, was the consigner. This could have been the printer but also could have been another shipping company. There can be multiple entities involved in overseas fulfillment so who knows who actually paid the company "Dale" worked for. The point is, if you aren't the actual customer to a vendor you depend upon, you are not the person or company that vendor really cares about keeping happy. Be proactive about keeping in touch with those vendors. It might not save you problems but you can at least be aware of issues before they reach crisis levels (most of the time).
My favorite webcomic is probably Castoff or Icy Copper
Don’t forget the yellow heart
As someone who works at the Post Office, I apologize on those delivery guys' behalf. Your experience getting those books shipped to you simply isn't ok. Delivering a pallet to a customer warrants getting either verbal or visual confirmation that the customer (you) is at least on the way to pick up the shipment. At the very least. I'm glad it all worked out though! (💛)
What a nightmare getting those books delivered! When you mentioned the time difference I literally said “oh god” out loud, I can’t imagine trying to sort out the logistics on a delivery with two different people in two different time zones, while you’re in a hotel at 7AM, that sounds… stressful 😅😅
I am planning to make a D&D web-comic based on my own D&D campaign that I played with my family and friends but it is told by the familiar that they always have and what he is always thinking things like "why are the fire balling a damn red dragon, it's resistant to fire" I pitched the thought to my friends and I also wanted to see what you thought.💛
I have a few webcommixs rolling around in my head, but dont really have any details worked out yet. My favorite webcomic at the moment is probably castoff or Unfamiliar 💛
Omg i love both these comics!!
Same! I actually started reading them at the same time lol. I love both of them.
We deliver packages, small to palletized. And I'm always worried about leaving anything unattended, especially in the elements. We prefer to have somebody sign for the delivery.
👋 Hi Star! Your book and webcomic is one of the reasons I’ve started to take storytelling seriously. I originally wanted to make short stories or gag-a-day comics, but now there’s this bigger story I’ve been daydreaming about for a few years now. I’m still building the basic structure of the story, it’s mostly just scenarios in my head, but so far I know how it begins and ends.
It’s this mystery story set in an urban fantasy world where this case of people mysteriously disappearing is spreading fear and despair throughout the city. The story’s about a young quirky mage girl who wants to help make other people’s lives better with the potions she makes. She means well and genuinely cares for her patrons with all this uncertainty happening, but she’s a bit of a narcissist and over the course of the story she let’s her ego slowly consume her.
I’m hoping to get my story started soon, your advice has really made things a lot clearer for me! Thank you! 💛
There are more people wanting to draw comics than people wanting to read comics.
The Moth Prince is my favorite webcomic! 💛
That "DO NOT DO THIS TO ME, DALE" made me burst out laughing haha
Im glad it all got sorted for you, star❤
I'm making a comic called Switch, and it's about like angels and demons and stuff, and it's very cool and I'm super excited about it 💛
At the risk of sounding a bit like a suck-up lol (I promise I'm not), Castoff is genuinely my favorite webcomic 💛
Your videos have inspired me to begin working on my own webcomic and im super excited about it! Ive watched your how to webcomic panel a few times at this point XD
I haven't read many web comics but you and another author inspired me to make my own.
The comic itself is called Omega and its a superhero story, with what I hope has some insane fights. I've honestly been super glad you inspired me because I've always wanted to be a professional comic book artist since I was a teen, and now, I'm trying to make that happen. So thanks.
💛
I lost years off my life hearing out the shipping mishap 😭
I was a backer on the first run of your book, and after years and years of doubting, and using what you wrote on it like it was a sacred book xD I'm finally doing my first small webcomic! Nothing too special, but I wanted to see if I could actually finish it before starting a collection of oneshot webcomic about my universe, without your video and books, I would have probably keep that project as a "that could be nice" but now I'm working hard on it and I wanted to say a little thank you
I plan to turn my novel, SHATTERED, into a web comic! Looking forward to your next book!!! 💛
💛I always enjoy your storytimes, and love to listen when I delve into a marathon of drawing/animation. They always have something to teach, and are just as engaging and entertaining. I'm on the edge of my seat with you, when recounting moments of anxiety, then feeling the relief when things just manage to survive utter destruction. They are a great motivator as well that keeps me going. As far as any web comic idea, I have been toying with the story idea of magical realism taking place and focusing on the history of illegal elephant poaching across Africa, and the efforts that have been made to combat it. I want to make a focused TH-cam Channel about it, along with other animations and art. College has been strangling me in a CHOKEHOLD, so not a lot of time, but we will see. Thank you for sharing as always, and take care and be well! I am so happy to hear of your success, and your hard work paying off!! 💛
The shipping sounds like an absolute nightmare. I am currently working on a webcomic and has been for a couple months and man, it's been an endurance run as well as an artistic challenge. Thankfully I'm doing page-by-page releases instead of full chapters because if I had to draw that much in a week I'd die 💛
Hey Star! I’m currently in the concepting phase of my first “proper” webcomic with the running name of Shadows Within and the majority of my inspiration comes from you! It might seem funny, but I truly hope that one day I'll be able to lead an independent career a lot like yours! Simply, thank you for creating! 💛
I have about 3 stories that i wrote, and they are still in Development. Also one of them will be turn into a actual Comic, which is gonna be cool so. And also i very like your art style, it looks simplistically good and magical😊
I AM working on a webcomic, actually! Your book has been super helpful! Still trying to figure out the story and not just pantsing it. The main character is a catgirl from another world who is reverse isekaied into our world! Well, a version of our world... >.>
Again, love your book, AND Cast-Off! 💛
This was such an interesting story!! ^^ God the anxiety though, I'm so glad it all turned out right! At the moment I'm planning a webcomic that's still unnamed but it's sorta like a magical girl/guy/nb story with like university aged peeps paired up with cute little fairy partners called prites that grant them magical abilities! ^^ Aside from Castoff itself a couple of my favourite webcomics are Winter Moon and Lumine! 💛
I’m planning to start a magical girl webcomic! I haven’t gotten much figured out, but it actually started as a One Piece AU that I decided to turn into it’s own thing because of how much worldbuilding and planning I was doing 💛
My favorite webcomic is definitely Blades of Furry, anything with romance and ice skating in it is a win in my book, I also really enjoy Horizon Walkers and Lackadaisy, as both are huge inspirations for me, and I plan on making my own webcomics one day. Thanks for a great video as always!! 💛
That sounds SO stressful! Glad it all worked out ok! Castoff is currently my favorite web comic that I've been reading, but since you already know all about it, (obviously) I'll mention that I am in the middle of writing my own web comic about this person who finds a strange ''ship'' that crashed in the middle of their backyard in Utah with an unconscious (later to be proclaimed dead) man inside. 💛
Joining the Giveaway crowd, I wanted to make multiple comics over my life, including a fan manga on Wolf Children and an original comic called The Dream Rangers. 💛
Tbh Castoff is probably my favorite webcomic 💛
Hey Star! 💛
Just want to say first that I love your videos, and have Castoff saved smack dab in the middle of my browser bookmarks bar. I've been floating around your streams from time to time, and Vector deserves all the cookies in the world. 🍪
I've been writing a comic called Crossing Worlds. It's about an apathetic girl helping a group of people from a parallel world kill a tyrant in the hopes of preventing the continuation of a war that ended only a few years prior. Many of the main characters were victims of war in different ways, and this story shows how they cope with the aftermath.
I try to touch on how magic affects the structure of the world, including how people treat each other based on the type of magic they use, what sorts of jobs people devote themselves to, what role they played in the war effort, etc. It also plays a huge role in the outcome of the war, as magical creatures, both ancient and experimental, were used as an equivalent to war machines.
I know I make it seem pretty dark and serious, but I try to keep a sense of levity throughout the story so it doesn't end up massively depressing. These characters are really just a bunch of idiots doing their best after a brutal time in their lives. I actually think Castoff is a pretty apt comparison tone-wise (Arianna reminds me a LOT of my protagonist, Judas. I feel like they'd butt heads a lot).
I've been making the comic for a while now (drawing for 6 years, writing for nearly 10), and was inspired by you to bite the bullet and make shorts and even full length MVs about it on my TH-cam and Insta. I want to share this story, and you've been great encouragement since I found you last year.
I'm so incredibly proud of how far you've come, even if I haven't been here that long. Keep up the great work!
💛 Your journey is so inspiring Star, I came across your channel around mid last year when I was looking for tips on starting my own webcomic, WHICH I HAVE NOW! I had been working on it with my girlfriend as just a casual side thing for fun, but when we finally finished it I wanted to revamp it to an actual webcomic and get it out into the world. Which we did :] It's called circle of hell and I'm so happy that we are finally putting in the effort and work to get it out there because it means alot to me 💛
Hi Star!!! Thanks for another helpful and crazy storytime 💛
I really love Castoff!!
I'm currently on the process of making the drafts of various comics I've been having on mind for a long time, the main one being about peculiar characters having from normal to fantasy adventures in their middleschool, each number having an episodic format but that together form a great plot.
Your videos have helped me a lot during this process, going from tips for the art direction and how to take the best of Clip Studio, to other advices like creating my own website (which I'm currently designing).
Thank you very much for all your awesome videos and keep up the great work!!
CASTOFF PRINTED VERSION LETS GOOOOO💛
I've been wanting to make a webcomic of mine for a long time not but, never actually try doing cause I was so nervous and unmotivated. This change ever since youtube recommended your how to make a webcomic livestream. It's gave me so much inspiration and motivation. I've been writing/scripting ideas for my comic now and I'll probably start drawing and posting actual pages soon!! Your videos are the reason why I started to force to actually commit myself to my art career!!
Amd my favourite webcomic are Ufamiliar (by Lavender Town) and Castoff 💛
(Sorry for any bad grammar, English isn't my first language)
Good luck on your webcomic and I can’t wait to see it.
@@SammyRobinson62232 Thanks!
Sounds like quite the ride trying to get everything sorted, glad it went well in the end.
I wish everyone in the giveaway luck
Hello! I have been a fan of your videos and your webcomic for a while. Just recently, a couple of weeks ago, I joined the castoff patreon, and it’s been one of the best decisions regarding supporting a creator I’ve ever made. As for my favorite comic, it’s got to be Castoff (genuinely, lol-) since it really inspired me to get better at art and even start working towards creating my first small webcomic. Super excited to see how Castoff goes in the future and I can’t wait to get my hands on Castoff Volume 1. Keep doing what you love!! 💛
Not sure how you ended up in my feed, but of all the things TH-cam have thrown at me, you’re definitely one of the best ones. 💛
I’ve always been interested in art and storytelling and have wanted to make a comic series or two for a while now. I have a lot of ideas for stories in different genres that I’d like to explore someday. But I think my problem is that I hesitate or back down on execution out of fear that it may not be my thing or if my ideas aren’t good enough to make into comic series. Still figuring things out, but your videos have helped me get a better insight on what it’s like to make a Webcomic.
Thanks for all the time and effort you put in inspiring myself and others through your videos. One of my goals for 2024 is to start reading more Webcomic series, so I’m hoping to get to Castoffs at some point as a thanks for what you do. Keep it going Star!
I am 15, and my comic is a superhero comic where three girls go to a school for people preparing to become superheros/villains. However, since they are roommates, the rules go that one will become a hero, one a villain, and one an antihero.
All three want to be villains. It's a crazy ride. 💛
sooo, last october i started my very first webcomic called ride to hell with me. it's about a rabbit-ish creature who believes she's a demon who's home is hell and she's going across the country to get there all while dragging a poor crow with her. it's my first real attempt at a webcomic and while i still am learning the ropes i hope for this not only to be a project to keep me busy at college but also to be a stepping stone for more comics in the future. and considering the aforementioned character is one that i've been holding onto for a few years i'm happy i can finally use her for something that would be a send-off to some of my earliest internet experiences and hopefully an entry for a future comic art career! 💛 and thank you for the opportunity!!!
My current favorite webcomic is Lalin's Curse! It's been under hiatus for a while, but it follows this supernatural mystery plot and I absolutely adore the art style! I haven't been a fan for long, but I love putting on your videos to listen in the background as I work. I'm hoping your videos will help me stay on task as I finally start doing art more seriously 💛
My favourite comic idea is about a girl who dies amd her soul gets transported into another creature.
The story takes place in the same world and i want it to be more akin to a documentary. My gripe with a lot of fantasy stories is that they don’t explore food and especially the animals/creatures in a lot of detail.
So basically this story is like one of those documentaries following one creature and their predators and prey. The other half of the story will explore the humen city and politics. 💛
I just turned 14 like a week ago, and I have been dreaming of making my own webcomic since I was 8. I’ve been thinking of an idea for a webcomic with my fairy characters. I don’t have a name for it or a real story for it, but I always find it so fun to make mini comics of my fairies with each other hanging out. I only made their personalities and designs. It’s really fun to make characters that I can relate to, especially with my colored characters struggling with their culture, because I'm a black girl and I used to struggle a lot because of that. I used to hate my thick crazy hair and hated how in the books i loved to read there were never any black girls, and if they were, they were always stereotyped. I've learned to love myself and put that into my characters, hoping one day when I'm older, I create my webcomic and help some kids who struggles with appreciating the beauty of their culture.💛
I remember Star talking about being "perceived" at the post office after finishing LN. Who knew listening to a strange woman on the internet talk about postal shipping could be so entertaining?
💛 I've currently got two ideas for webcomics I want to make, and your videos have been so helpful for trying to nail down exactly what I want to make and how to go about posting it online! I've already got the first page for one drawn up, character designs made, and a few important storylines I'd like to implement! I'm going for a light fluffy slice-of-life and romance, also due to the advice you gave to NOT start with your magnum opus of comics, which I think is going to sit in the corners of my brain waiting for its time to shine until I'm fully ready to make it! Thank you so much for making these videos! I've had the idea of making this comic in my head for literal years of my life, and I'm so glad your channel pushed me to actually make concrete steps towards that goal!
I’ve had a bunch of Comic Ideas get onto paper over the last couple years, but the one I’ve committed to drawing lately is a retelling of a lot of underrated and unfortunate stories from Greek mythology, with a bunch of revenge based storylines, including characters like Callisto, Kassandra, and other people I think deserved justice. I like mythology a ton and really hope this one sticks for a while💛
As I am really curious to your book, and love your art and story's, I want to enter with the webcomic "to love and be loved" by OhNoNina! 💛 I am really excited to see if I get one, if not, still amazing!
Your book was the final aha I needed!
Thank you so much ❤ I'm happy to announce I've gotten my scripts more steam lined and have 10 thumbnail pages done and about two corkboards full of storyboarding.
I remember what actually made me discover your channel was your stream vod of the webcomic 101 panel. Stuck around after that!
I am an artist from Saudi Arabia I ordered your book on KS and it arrived very fast to me! thank you so much, it is very inspiring! and the information are very useful; easy to find as well.
Yo actually thanks for the heads up on your journey with Kickstarter fulfillment! I've backed a few crowdfunded comics that I love from Hiverworks (Tiger, Tiger & Countdown to Countdown) and I'm looking to make a campaign for my own mini comic that I'm gonna try taking it slow on since I'm still a small creator! It's been awesome to see your growth, big preesh for all that you share with us~ 💛✨
My fave webcomic is Castoff 💛
My faves are unfamiliar and ofc castoff
I hope to someday write a webcomic with a little sandcat (kit) and skunk (cody) try and take down elitism in a world with no government
💛
I have so many comics stockpiled bc I'm usually so caught up with writing and drawing. I'm thinking about making my own comic for a story I actually wrote as a college project. It was a creative writing class and I didn't expect to like what I made, but I ended up loving it and getting excited about the characters I essentially made up on the fly.
I'm hoping to make my own comics, "Where Demons Hide" and "Cool and Hotshot" soon. Thanks for giving me hope and the drive! 💛
I'm so happy for you star! I've never commented on one of your videos or Castoff chapters, but you have inspired me so so much! I actually plan make my own webcomic "Sandstorm" right after high school. 💛
Currently working on my own comic after many years of contemplation and videos like this help keep me on track with the mindset of developing my ideas further. A lot of my favorite webcomics are personal projects friends and I like to take a crack at from time to time in our little group that we don't really share anywhere else but who knows. The future is unpredictable. 💛
My favorite webcomic is Flaw and I want to make my own webcomic someday 💛
💛 I have both a favorite Webcomic and a webcomic I plan on creating (thank you Star for inspiring me to make a webcomic of my own!!). My favorite Webcomic by far is Remarried Empress. It is absolutely amazing, the art style is gorgeous, and the story keeps me reading!!
My webcomic I plan on making is still in it's baby stages as I need to organize my brain enough to plan it out properly, but I'm kicking myself into gear this year to get it all planned out and at the very least scripted.
Love your videos, love your stories, please never stop making vids like this, I enjoy them so much and you've been a huge inspiration for me!!
I read quite a few webcomics, some of my favourites are Aurora, Countdown to Countdown, Strange and Wild and Your Wings and Mine, all of them are very fun reads, and I always get excited when I see an update on them haha. Been wanting to make my own comic for years now, had started on two but never went anywhere cause I just can't decide on a story and it's frustrating. Hope to someday find an idea that'll shine brighter. 💛
My current favorite webcomics are Castoff, Sleepless Domain, and Lackadaisy. I really enjoy reading Castoff, and the comic and your videos actually inspired me to start making my own webcomic. I'm currently working on a comic about a marine biologist and a giant ghostly squid lady. I hope you keep on creating, as your comic and videos are incredibly motivating and inspirational :) 💛
Star! 💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations of self publishing. I've self published a children's book, and this inspires me to expand my options. I have ideas for more books and a webcomic: Alien pro wrestlers and the mayhem that ensues. 💛💛💛
💛 - I've recently started writing an outline, drawing references for my characters and more for my own web comic and you've literally been my main source of guide information.
(I forgot the heart on my og comment)
My fave comics are Castoff and Icy Copper 💛
I've been starting my own webcomic and I really find amazing the feeling of just being able to bring life into my characters and making a new world from just my imagination 💛
My favorite webcomic is (ironically) Castoff cause it got me out of a reading funk! Helped me get my book up and running again so thank you!💛
I've been wanting to make a web comic for a long time, and you're videos have been really helpful! Once I actually get the story finished its going to be about a group of high schoolers figuring themselves out (and maybe some fighting monsters). I've been working on the story and my artwork for about a year.
💛
I just got the e-book and I absolutely LOVE ALL THE CUTE MINI STARS!! I finihed a few pages and it's so fun to read, thank you for giving everyone advice through the book
My current favourite webcomics are Castoff, Crow Time, and Unfamiliar! I have been writing out characters and plots for my own comic for about four years now, but have been too scared to actually start. Your stories and videos are such an inspiration and I think I need to sit down with your ultimate comic guide, a cup of tea, and a notebook and get started! Thank you for everything, Star! 💛
💛 Loved the video as always, it's always fun hearing your stories while I work. My favorite webcomics are probably Reunion by Stephattyy and Castoff, both huge inspirations to me.
I have a few comic ideas that I am working on world building for, one is a family adventure comic about parents who are going after their kids that got stuck in a bad situation and the other is a mini comic about a revenge filled elf who hates a certain family and finds the last member of the family who ends up befriending her through a string of events.
My favorite webcomic is Ghost Eyes by Mr. Circus Papa! 💛
I just got my copy the other day of your 2023 book and I'm already halfway through. It's such a well-written and informative book! Excellent work!
I'm currently working on a modern fantasy webcomic and am about 16 pages in! I've been developing this story since 2006 and has gone through three re-starts as I developed the art style and prologue of it. Super happy with the direction it's going in now!
your videos are so interesting to watch as an aspiring artist who wants to run an art small business! this is so interesting
i've always wanted to try my hand at creating a long form story, but it always feels so daunting. i have about 10 million character and story ideas in my head, and now i just need to figure out how to get it all down on paper! i've been brainstorming about it a lot recently: angels, demons, magic, wannabe-rpg-scenarios even though ive never even played rpgs before -- i'd love to know more about figuring all that out 💛
💛
I have so many super duper webcomic ideas, but the one i really wanna make it about these two childhood friends, noah and tin, and it shows from when they first met to the present. Itll be a coming of age comic, showcasing how they felt more comfortable with their identities and bumps in the road for them!
Loving the Golden Shrike comic and am thinking of starting my own in the coming year💛 Thank you Star for being a big inspiration on that journey!
Have put together some rough concepts based on a V:TM campaign I played some years ago, even made a "movie" poster for it. Only recently started reading Castoff but otherwise don't have many webcomics I read as I spend too much time looking at a screen already, because of that I'm looking forward to the Castoff KS! 💛
Some of my favorite comics are Hooky, Silver Spoon, and I've really liked Castoff! I'm trying to plan a comic with my characters but I am still in the stage of thinking about it lol. 💛
I got your book for Christmas!
I only read one webcomic, Castoff I really like it too and can’t wait for the printed copy. 💛
Hey Star! I started getting into webcomics a couple of months ago. Castoff was one of the first webcomics I read and has been my favorite webcomic to read so far 💛.
I still don't really know how I found this channel, but I enjoy watching it whenever a new upload happens. I probably should try reading your webcomic at some point, lol.
As for my own webcomic experience, oh, the stories I could tell. Imagine trying to make a webcomic with just you and a friend in high school. I was the artist stuck trying to draw someone else's story. It went just about as well as one might expect, but I didn't want to let the friend down. Luckily, that mess only lasted about a month. Now I just write my own stories since my drawing still isn't that good (lol), but I've gotten much better at writing since then. 💛
My favourite webcomic is Miez by Hiseki 💛💛 I found your channel through the Webcomic 101 stream and have loved watching all your other videos x
I wanted to say thank you Star for all of the inspiration and drive you have given me the past year! For the longest time I always wanted to make a comic of some kind but just didn't know how to start it/didn't really have the confidence to start one.
After I found your channel and started watching your webcomic tutorials and art tutorials, I bought the "How To Webcomic" book from your kickstarter! Your book has helped me so much in the structuring of my comic pages and even the writing!
I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me and giving me the confidence to say "Hey! I can do this too!" I hope you have a wonderful day/evening and keep kicking butt! I look forward to your next video!
I'm so sorry you had to deal with all that stress. That would have given me a nervous breakdown! Thank you for making all this helpful advice though. I like listening to your videos in the background while I'm drawing.
Because of Star and her stories, my inner childhood dream of becoming a comic artist has been reignited. I'm currently working on one project as a beginner, though I have drawn some in the past, I have never sat down and gotten this close and it could not have been without her encouragement and tips and of course support from my friends, I hope to one day be able to do as well as she does in her endeavors and I hope to be as awesome as she is lol! Thanks for all the help and tips star, loved your book, i got an ecopy since i was so eager to be able to read it right then and there lol 😄
I haven't actively read a webcomic in years, so other than just starting yours (good read so far) I don't have an opinion. I have been getting back into comics in general and getting inspired to make my own, so finding your channel has been great! I am looking forward to a creative an busy 2024 💛
Gunnerkrigg Court is one of my fav comics.💛 Really enjoy your doodling vids, they bring good feels.
As someone who backed the second printing after to goal was reached; Thank you. Your story is inspiring and as someone who wants to self publish it is really encouraging. I bought two copies(one for me and one for my nephew who is obsessed with storytelling and drawing) and I love it. You did a fantastic job organizing your thoughts, illustrating your examples and conveying your thoughts clearly.
Down to Earth on Webtoon is my favorite webcomic I've read so far! I also have several stories I intend to turn into webcomics sometime soon :) 💛💛
💛 It's hard for me to read as I have problems with seeing words sometimes. But I've honestly been enjoying your comic, Castoff! I have not got that far into it yet. Maybe a chapter or two, because I just started reading it. But it's getting pretty good! I cannot wait to read more of it when I can :)!!!
💛 I’m glad that I will begin drawing my first ever webcomic this year as I was gifted my first ever drawing tablet for Christmas. It’s definitely gonna be difficult to get used to drawing digitally but thanks to your videos, it’s gonna be a lot easier. It’s gonna be a bad guy of the week format and the characters designs will be a bit triangular. I don’t have a name for it yet or even have plans on releasing it until I’ve completed an arc and have a schedule nailed down but I’m looking forward to practicing storytelling!
I love castoff. The story is really good and it keeps me questioning what will have next.
I've been reading webcomics for a long time and I can say with certainty that Castoff is one of my favorites of all time. It's up there with Magical Boy and El Goonish Shive, especially the former since Castoff (and your vids) and that are what have inspired me to work on my own webcomic. 💛
It's an isekai fantasy adventure story about a bunch of people from different worlds (literally and metaphorically) coming to a world long after the big adventure happened and how they find themselves and their purposes in a world that doesn't need them to save it. It starts out as a straightforward "rescue my friend's friend from the evil king" premise that gets more complicated as the truth is uncovered.
I've found you via TH-cam so just starting to read Castoff. I'm currently into The Little Trashmaid, but my fave changes weekly.💛
Girl I would have not gotten on that plane without calling.
One of my favorite web comics is Cast Off, granted I haven't read many, but the art style is so unique for any I have seen. KEEP IT UP!! 💛
My favorite webcomic is yours, actually! I love castoff very much 💛 you inspired me to finally start my own webcomic. Thank you so much star!!
My favorite webcomic (other than yours) is Aurora by overly sarcastic productions red. It’s got cool concepts like city’s being ruled by gods and sassy egoistic wizards. It’s a lot of fun and red has really memorable characters. 💛
My favorite, I cant pick just one... But Ive regularly been looking at Eye of Ramalach, Draconia Chronicles, Las Lindas, Rascals and a few others.
I'd love to get some comics of my own published, but I'm still new to doing comics in a serious manner.
💛
I am new to your channel and I must tell is not only inspiring is so fun and relatable! Right now I am working on a one shot (probably) comic. Right now I don’t have a favorite comic besides traditional manga. But I cannot wait to finish this and finally have free time to read your webcomic! 💜
