Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.
The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. The stock market can appear as a bewildering cauldron of fake news for new investors. I would advise using a CFP, giving him/her 2/3, and then investing the 1/3 on your own, but only if you have time to track stocks and educate yourself.

Bull case for Nvidia? It’s literally Nvidia.
I haven't been this bullish on a stock since Apple in the early 2,000s. I doubt Nvidia will have as long of a winning stretch as Apple has had but even if it can keep it's growth up for the next three years that would be amazing.
It will absolutely be longer than Apple’s run … no one is going to be Nvidia. Apple’s products had some competition, not as good but they were phones and tablets…..

NVIDIA is great and everything but soon the competitions will be there for certain. AMD is already having their own AI chip not to mention Google custom chip has been there for a long time now AMZN, META, Apple are all having their own chip. I am sure NVIDIA is going to benefit from AI boom but I am not sure that it is worth buying at the current price.
none of those chips are on the level of blackwell in fact when amd released their new chip they compared it to the h100 but not blackwell....they are still far far behind and they know it

All these companies won’t be now to catch up in 1 year, try 5-10 years
once Nvidia earning slows the whole market will tank!!!
