Tomo, you are an absolute legend. I've learned more in this last year following your youtube channel and subscribing to your website than I ever have. I not only have leaned music from you but also a positive approach to the mentality I've ever had around music. So thank you so much!!
What an absolute joy to watch your videos. Such talent, wisdom, humor, and a down-to-earth style that makes watching your videos accessible for a guy like me who is a later-in-life learner with no prior musical experience. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos. Warmest wishes to you.
Tomo, I'm older and trying to learn guitar. I'm trying to go beyond cord shapes and play it like you just did. Your practice/playing was very expressive: very enjoyable. I really appreciate the one string scale lesson. Major Scale seems to be the foundation for all scales...I will practice. Thank you
@Kapālin yeah I have one guitar in standard and I’ve used a couple of alternates on the other. I’m starting to see actual value in having multiple guitars outside of just collecting lol
First of all thank you for those lesson, they really help for fret board knowledge. So i recently reunited with my lovely accoustic guitard after 10 years or so. I am much more focus to learn theory than cowboy song like in the past. It might be the reason why we broke up 😂. That being said i have a much more pleasing time by doing so, but there is so much to learn. Small step is key and i love that. I make good progress but there is some things i want to know if it is ok or not. Here is my question, the palm mute ! Can i learn the form or shape of anythings: arpeggio, pentatonic... before thinking to include the palm mute or it is better to shovel everything together. To me those shape and mute combine are a huge step, but i know i have to challenge myself sometimes too. Well thank you again, your a great teacher ! Im watching you from Québec, Canada. ✌️
You're very welcome! My pleasure! GoodjobQ You can learn anything with good technique! This Should Have Been Your First Guitar Lesson - Chromatic Scale th-cam.com/video/m2hvyzmBgxg/w-d-xo.html
I play by ear I can hear and replicate the sounds/ notes being played , but trying to figure how the positions of the scales apply its a bit confusing but can replicate each of those minor and major notes within every position 1 thru 5 using different patterns will be interesting and fun .
Awesome clip.... your videos always seem to open a new perspective for me (been playing since 1993) ... thanks a lot Tomo San 🎉😊! PS - i am from india n in our traditional indian classical music ..we hv concept of 'Raga' ....which uses these intervals n there is much emphasis on the 'mood' creation by use of right set of notes....really amazing music science from 000s of years.... hv you ever studied this, Tomo ?
I loved it when you were talking about dynamics and you picked super hard LOL. That "Rocker" expression! Priceless! I might have believed Fujita-sensei might have been a former member of Loudness... but they're from Osaka I think not Kyoto. Thinking of Osaka makes me want some takoyaki now... Thank you for this, Fujita-sensei, educational AND entertaining! Love your sense of humor,
Great video! I was wondering if you could explain how you use the arpeggios on a jam improvisation when you know the chord progressions and when you don't know the chord progressions ? Thanks and huge hug from Spain
Hello Tomo, I was wondering what do you think is the best chair for guitar practice? I have been using a very nice Roc-N-Soc swivel stool. After 30-40 minutes my back gets sore. I am looking for a chair with a back and maybe fold up arms. Great support, comfort, and adjustability is very important. I respect your opinion very much. Thanks
"most" lessons are amazing..... but! they always focus on the notes, chords, arpeggios, shapes etc..... but no one ever takes the TIME to explain how you can finger those notes.... regardless if you have 2 fingers or 5 there is NOT enough attention on fingering.... im struggling because I dont know which fingers to play what string or for LEFT OR RIGHT hand...... fingering for LEFT hand can mean the difference of being efficient or not.... and people only focus on the note but NOT the actual fingering of those notes/chords.
Thank you so much! Focus on the notes & intervals! Please watch these lessons (Super Simple) th-cam.com/video/85RmFmRgTiw/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/weI70XnBogY/w-d-xo.html

it's really nice that he takes the time to explain these things, in lieu of using the "tabs-in-description" teaching model.

That's great! Learn more triads & scales on one string! Thank you!
I’ve been trying alternate tunings to make sure I don’t follow patterns. I get confused, but it gets me thinking.
Ha ha! You worked too much!

Good firm chair! No need any back or arms. Just sit straight!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Tomo, random question, but will an AZ2204 pick guard fit the AZES? The body shape and switch layout looks exactly the same to my eye.
I don't know that part. Good question!
Great lesson Tomo❗Love that tone ❗Where's the kitty?👀👁️👀👁️👀👁️👀👁️👀👁️
Thank you so much! Next video!
Thank for for this lesson
How long would you recommend us to practice this daily?
You're welcome! Practice them slowly for a while. 15-20 minuets
Does the Guitar Wisdom Lesson Feature Tab Notation .
No tabs! But each video screen has all portion numbers / intervals so you won't miss them!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you for your response. Also for taking time to help us in our development. Well appreciated.
Thanks, this is a good practice for tonight
Push the brain not the fingers

is that and arpeggio 7 the same
7th Arpeggio = R 3 5 7
This reminds me of how it takes Rachel Maddow 20 minutes to explain something that anyone else could explain in 2 minutes.
Thanks so much!
“That’s a C. Guitar is an easy instrument.” o.0
Yes!
I had to go listen to Albert King😄
Awesome!
Appreciate your help as always
But not enjoying that pedal
Thanks for sharing. Less is better!
If I ever pronounce your name properly I'd be happy. That sounds harder than playing an Yngwie Malmsteen arpeggio.
Thank you so much!
