Hi mate, I watched your vid last year while researching catching and cooking crays, got the same stove from go outdoors you have cause of your vid and yeah, one year on and I'm doing my own catch and cook vids and loving it. I would highly recommend you find a clear running stream with em in and try them, they are so much tastier than from a lake, they don't have that after taste of dirt. Awesome vid mate, thank you for the inspiration 👍

Its one of my favorite things to do in summer. I catch them up here in the west midlands. Small river at the back of my house is full of them. You get some decent sized ones. I think its down to the fact no one catches them so they get to grow so big. Roll on summer so I can get back out there 😁 great vid
Just came across your video.....excellent content! One of your commentators recommends you try catching them in a clear-running stream.....I suggest the River Roding upstream of Buckhurst Hill where the river runs fairly quick and clean (or used to) over gravel. There were a lot of freshwater mussels upstream of Chigwell Lane too. That was my fishing ground when I was a boy. The M11 runs through the valley there nowadays so access is trickier now. Ps I live in Australia now, shortly to head up to the tropics. Keep up the good work 🤗
Ingenious name sir, well done!! Fished that stretch of the Roding a lot in the past & yes I've had crayfish there too, don't fish the Roding much anymore as I've moved further out into Essex now but I do get back occasionally, enjoy the tropics!!
You sir are brilliant! That lake is a goldmine. This is a really excellent video...well done! Also, that's a great cleaning tip, thanks! Have you ever thought about selling them? I wish I had a lake like that over here. Pickle those little fish. Make your own sardines.
Why Dale, thank you sir! It's a privately owned lake & the owner doesn't like people to take the fish out of there but the crawfish, now there's an idea!!
