How did you record in log or flat on s20fe? Can you show this with a video?
Yes Sure thing. As a matter of fact that's the video I am working on this week so hopefully it should be out by next week.
@@JStaRFilms I look forward to it
How did you come up with the setting you used?
Tbh I did some research. There was a thread on the DaVinci resolve forum. They gave some guesses, so I tested and found the optimal one👌🏽
"Oh shit"😂
you gerit😭😂
Doesn't you need a HDR10(+) screen as well. You need the PQ transfer function or I'm wrong?
No, that's the point of color space transformation.
This is a trasfer to colorspace P3-D65 only, but not the HDR to my information, but I may be wrong. Or does the BT2100/ PQ the transformation. Thanks for yoor answer anyway.
It is that the conversion is dull in comparison Rec709. I tried the color managed methode, same results. I use output colorspace DCI- P3, set my screen accordingly and switched tor gamma 2.4 for better results.
I tried to put a Canon Clog2 lut instead of OFX Colorspace transfer as you discribed. You bet I get even better results, thoug it is not the way to go.
My apologize. Your explination is correct. You do a converson to Rec709. I'm doing P3-D65. So it can be displayed on a regular screen. My goal is to see HDR10+ on a screen and than I need an HDR screen. But your tutorial is a conversion. So my interpretation was wrong. Thanks.
Are you using a HDR Monitor?
No I am not
Do you have one?
I also have a Samsung Ultra S22 set to shoot in HRD10+ but when I apply your settings I still get the washed-out video. It’s somewhat better but not as prominent as before applying but not as clear as 8 bit shot on the same phone.

@garvolt You still have to make some adjustments like scurve or primaries etc.
