It was incredible. I felt like I was getting a 2 hour foot massage, I felt so calm and serene. Since I was walking slower to be careful with my feet, I was also observing nature and my surroundings much more mindfully. Pure bliss. Thank you, Gabby!@@gabriela_sagore

You seem to be slightly scared of the surface and I find it natural as your soles are not fully seasoned. However,it was a good start by leaving your footwear at home. That's exactly how you develop confidence and trusting your soles is the way forward. If you had shoes in your possession,would've definitely worn them the very first instance but since you left them at home you gad no choice. It's simply being in the middle of the sea,where you have no other choice than to swim for survival. In your future hikes too don't take any form of footwear with you. Instead trust the strength of your soles. You have been given the most advance scanners in the world named Eyes. So keep them wide open and let them guide every step you take. Hello! Thank you, your kind words mean a lot. Oh yeah, my partner can go very fast, the other friends we met there could walk faster too. And I've realized recently that my parents never let me be barefoot, not even inside our home. So I guess that would explain why it's been so challenging for me to walk on rough surfaces or on gravel, while it comes easy to others that used to be barefoot since childhood. I'm also happy I left my shoes at home for this one it gave me no other option but to endure the discomfort! I will try to apply this for future hikes to help transform my soles. Infact I adopted barefoot lifestyle due to health reasons.Here goes my story and my determination made me a fulltime barefooter. I hope you too can extract something out of my story. I was addicted to footwear for over 25 yrs,removed them only when I go to bed. Experienced a few regular complications lately,specially hip,back calf and ankle pains. I even used to get gumboils very often as I was having a heaty body. I met this Ayuvedic Doctor at a function and while cchatting I disclosed my ailments and all he asked me how often I go totally barefoot and the answer was Negative. He asked me to go barefoot regularly indoors as well as outdoors if possible for three months and see the difference. I took the challenge as I was so desperate to get over these ailments. Believe me,it was a hectic task as the soles of my feet were very soft and specially walking outdoors on various textures of soil(specially gravel ) was like walking on pins. But stood ground. Believe me, all those ailments disappeared and now I feel very ccomfortable like never before. Since then, for the past 20 plus years I spend 99%of my time barefoot. I only wear footwear while traveling to Office and no sooner I get there,off comes my shoes. I simply feel awsome about my barefoot lifestyle.

In other words your mind and body becomes one single unit. Also it helped to build confidence. You start to believe in the thickness of your soles and the confidence that nothing can pierce your soles ) once your soles are fully formed feel soooo wonderful. Don't turn back until you become a fulltime barefooter. That achievement really works inside you
Girl I love what you're doing. But just wondering... How does it feel like when you step on bugs barefoot. I'm sure you've crushed loads of those guys even if you tried to avoid it. Is it like disgusting or it's just part of the soil for you?
Hey! Fortunately I don't think I've stepped on any bugs so far, the thing about going barefoot is that you pay much more attention to where you're stepping than what you would when wearing footwear. And I definitely avoid stepping on any little bug friends 🪲🐛
