Watching this..I wish I could have been there to share it with you. Thank you for sharing and the effort in making it. Wishing you more special memories 😊
Hi Tori.. that was such a lovely watch and the music to accompany it 👌💖. I'm always impressed with your bravery 🙏. You would be impressed with me today, as I managed a sea swim too... It was awesome... if a tad chilly but definitely worth it for how you feel during and after 😁. Turco sounds adorable... he would be good for you 😉. Miss Nancy is so by your side forever 🐾🙏💖🤗😘
thank you i am so glad you liked it 🥰 did you that’s awesome well done! i always find it a lot harder to get into the sea as well, there’s something about it’s largeness that just puts me off 😅 so i am even more impressed 👍❤️ isn’t he such a sweet boy. if i had anywhere to live i’d love to scoop him up, but i just have to be patient at the moment. it’s tough. i try to remember that she is, I love her so much, I just wish she was solid again. nothing is the same anymore 🐾❤️🥰🙏
What a wonderful video and some lovely filmimg , especially at the end. I love the Norfolk skies, they can be so dramatic. Thank you for taking us with you on this beautiful coastal walk.
I never tire of seeing where I live. The solitude, the BIG skies and the peace. I am Norfolk born and bred, it's just such a wonderful place. Glad you had such a great trip. Yes, Miss Nancy would have loved it I am sure. She's still with you xxx❤
oh awesome lucky you! I’d love to spend more time there, the feeling of solitude and the eeriness of the landscape was very appealing. thank you ☺️🐾❤️ xxx
Just popped out on my motorbike to the coast, beautiful day here at Holkham. Watching horses and ohs exercise on the beach. Stopped off at our caravan in East Runton for a cuppa, love where I live ❤️
thank you ☺️ it is bleak isn’t it and yet very appealing. my mother for one would hate it 😅 I guess i like a bit of bleakness. My dear girl, she would have, well not the first half that would have been a flat no from my princess. would Ribble wade through the creek and mud?
Lived near there in the late 1960s. Such an atmospheric and haunting coastline. To seaward is a vast submerged prehistoric forrest, roots of which are sometimes visible. The tide round Scolts Head can be lethal to the unwary. We sometimes used to cross at low tide from Brancaster beach to the sand spit and run out to the exposed wreck of the SS Vina and maybe the Island too, but if you stayed too long the channel would become a torrent that would sweep you away down the beach. A good swimmer will eventually strike the beach a mile or so down, but very risky. We crossed once in ankle deep water and on return there were two big Seals swimming around us. A magical place full of spirits.
wow submerged prehistoric forest I’d love to see that. i was a little concerned about the tide especially after seeing those signs! sounds amazing living there. and the seals! magical indeed ☺️
Yes, a lovely place in clement weather and many memories return sharing your experience. We didn't know much about the buried forests back then apart from knowing it was there, but I believe it was part of what is now called Doggerland flooded 10,000 years ago. People had found ancient artifacts of flint along the coastline dating this far back. The remarkable wooden inverted henge was found exposed nearby too. Treasures are to be found and Mother Earth offers them to us sometimes. No better blessing than to suck away the negatively troubling our pure consciousness and allowing our hearts to open with joy unbounded. Our true Nature. Thanks xx
What a heart warming video to watch on a Sunday evening. You brightened my day seeing you smiling & out & about. Beautiful scenery too. We are all with you & Miss Nancy would be very proud of you going to places she'd love ❤

'I wish I were a girl again, half savage and hardy, and free...' I'm halfway through a first time read of Wuthering Heights and I thought of that line watching your barefoot adventure. Yeah barefoot is good. Sitting on the grass is good. People are so scared of getting dirty. Like it's unsafe? We need a new generation of Huckleberry Finns! Stumbled across this vid. You took on a journey too perilous for most! I'm so pleased you caught good advice before heading off on the marsh. So many don't! Tori, hello, my name is Tom. i just wanna say that your video is well illustrated and beautifully filmed. I just hope that you post more vlogs like this in the future. In the meantime, thanks very much, and see you in the next video
Nancy Drew on another adventure. Yes the barefoot is grounding and a thing late after swim looked very healing. Hope you find your Hardy boy for your next adventure! Carry on my lady! 💜
Good video, as a sea kayaker living in Norfolk Scolt Head is my favourite Norfolk paddle, setting off from Brancaster beach 45 min before high tide & heading East on the outside of the shipwreck and along the seaward side of Scolt Head for just over 5 miles and then turn into Burnham Overy Bay, then heading through the main creek back to Brancaster Beach. Wonderful scenery, wildlife all giving a lovely well being feeling.
another great video, have to say your camera work and editing is improving by the clip, you open up places some people will never see, and that is to be congratulated, well done,
🎵 "I got lost along the way" 🎵 Wow that ending sequence and music was stunning and beautifully shot. Yes the perfect beach for a beautiful and elegant long pointy dog.. Miss Nancy Drew would of loved it and she would of been so very fast indeed.. x Never say sorry... ❤
thank you ☺️ i couldn’t stop singing those songs after editing. it’s kind of scary but cool trying to imbue the video with my feelings. glad you liked it. yeah it would have been perfect for my princess. miss her so much. not the first half though, sh would not have approved of all that slippery mud and I wouldn’t have been able to tempt her through the creek either! ❤️
Bless, Nancy probably wouldn't have been impressed with your swimming activities either.. 😊 Don't be scared.. Your real feelings are what makes you, you and your channel inspiring sometimes... ✨️ Alf and I got out for a while this afternoon, he was playing chasing rocks, I was throwing into the Beck.. So not a bad day.. x
@@missnancysdayoffGotta say I think the end sequence of this video, is my favourite ever video of yours.. Dunno why? Maybe the music and sentiment.. And your adventurous spirit. X
@@missnancysdayoffActually I think it was you spinning around in the water, saying the Sun has come out and saying look at the colors.. That perfectly flat horizon.. Kinda reminds me of some of the beaches we lived on in Asia when my daughter was a baby...
Hi Tori. When I watched your video, I thought that life and we humans are sometimes quite strange. When the weather is gloomy, grey, and rainy, I often don’t feel like going outside. But when I’m by the sea, there’s nothing better than walking along the beach, no matter if it’s raining or not. I’m looking forward to your next video. Warm greetings from Germany.
hi Germany 🇩🇪! humans definitely are strange. i feel the same often if the weather is that way, but if i force myself out i always, always feel better. you’re right though, the sea is so hypnotic in all weathers. thanks you 🙏
Wow tori , what an amazing place, such beautiful landscape scenes . You did a fantastic job in capturing it's awesomeness. Your an amazing soul , keep up what your doing , I for one always look forward to your vlogs ....take care always tori your friend from Wiltshire ..lee❤
Good to see a video filmed close to my doorstep. There are some great sandy beaches along the west side of the North Norfolk coast. You really need to be careful not to get cutoff by the incoming tide though. Stay safe.
Hi ya. Me being a Norfolk man through and through. Also being a wildlife photographer and videographer. I found this very interesting. Didn’t realise this could be done. Looks like you enjoyed yourself. This is just the sort of thing I love to do. Had to subscribe and 👍. Keith. UK 🇬🇧
Crikey, found that incredibly touching and heartfelt.. First watch of your vlog, really enjoyed it. I recently moved to Norfolk, will definitely visit this place.
Such a lovely wander, in a different landscape, with some evocative names 😊 Brilliant that you're helping Podencos 💜 the Iberian hunting dogs are in desperate need +25:44 artistic panorama of the cows ! (belted or saddleback or summut?) Great music 😊
It was a very different landscape for me, loved it, wanted to visit since i started reading the books about Ruth Galloway! Isn’t Turco sweet, I just thought it could be a nice way to share some dogs i will do a different one each week, if there is a rescue i should look at let me know. Not sure what cows they were but so beautiful, almost seemed like a safari scene to me ☺️
I was in that part of the world about twelve months ago. It's really very beautiful. Lovely post, thank you. NB - Lord Nelson was born down the road from where you were, in Burnham Thorpe.
I'm new to your channel. I think this video of Scolt Head Island has to be some of the most beautiful views of the sea. It makes me want to explore the Norfolk coast. Thanks.

hello, so glad you found the channel! my Miss Nancy really was the queen ❤️🐾 ah well now sounds interesting, can’t you do it in the 4x4 you have at the moment? thank you i really appreciate it ☺️ x
Great location and mostly peaceful - Norfolk needs some hills though. Going barefoot and grounding yourself is something we all need to do more regularly........along with wild water swimming. When you rubbed your necklace we almost could see Miss Nancy racing around, zoomies everywhere.
😅 when I described the beach as hilly and heard myself it thought hmm. Yes to barefoot. My girl, I am so glad you could see her too, it would have been ❤️
@@missnancysdayoff I’m a firm believer in that energy cannot be destroyed; it only morphs into another form. Your girl is still with you, the one she loves; the one that transformed her life. 😎 When I saw that wide open flat beach I could literally see her racing around at turbo speed, doing zoomies, grinning ear to ear and loving the sharing with you. Hopefully you still talk to her. Rudi does precisely the same but not as quickly.
Beautiful place.. I live close by and once crossed at low tide and fished at the end of the long deserted beach on the far side of the island. Stayed for a full twelve hour tide cycle and didn’t see another human being in all that time. Fantastically peaceful day in a beautiful place.
amazing! I’d like to do that, would have needed a bit more advance planning than I usually manage 🤭 So peaceful though, I really wanted to walk all the way round I read you can cross back over down the other end of the island!
@ you are right… you can cross at the other end. Never done it myself as I understand it isn’t as easy that end. We have a lovely stretch of coast here and I think a lot of people take it for granted unfortunately.
53,000 watched. Only 9,000 subscribed. I did. I found the sign and discovered you were north and a little east of London. I was first in London as a student in 1957. Your video was really wonderful. I don’t know how the chance to view it popped onto my screen.

In the meantime, thanks very much, and see you in the next video
Thank you so much! really glad you liked it
Loved it.Keep it up.
Thank you! Will do!
Beautiful video!
Thank you very much!
Nancy Drew on another adventure. Yes the barefoot is grounding and a thing late after swim looked very healing. Hope you find your Hardy boy for your next adventure! Carry on my lady! 💜
It was really nice 👌 haha I was thinking if my next rescue was a boy he would be Frank or Joe Hardy! 🐾
Such a beautiful video, it looks so peaceful 😌🙏
Thank you, it was 😊
Such a lovely peaceful place for a dip and you didn't even look cold 🥶
i think it was the warmest swim I’ve ever had!
That sounds absolutely lovely. I really want to do some more sea kayaking, so peaceful out there on the water.
Holy-smoke, what a beautiful video. ❤
Thank you! 😊
another great video, have to say your camera work and editing is improving by the clip,
you open up places some people will never see, and that is to be congratulated, well done,
Wow!! Glorious!
so nice to see you again! love the videos!
Thanks so much! ☺️
🎵 "I got lost along the way" 🎵
Wow that ending sequence and music was stunning and beautifully shot.
Yes the perfect beach for a beautiful and elegant long pointy dog.. Miss Nancy Drew would of loved it and she would of been so very fast indeed.. x
Never say sorry... ❤
thank you ☺️ i couldn’t stop singing those songs after editing. it’s kind of scary but cool trying to imbue the video with my feelings. glad you liked it.
yeah it would have been perfect for my princess. miss her so much. not the first half though, sh would not have approved of all that slippery mud and I wouldn’t have been able to tempt her through the creek either! ❤️
Bless, Nancy probably wouldn't have been impressed with your swimming activities either.. 😊
Don't be scared.. Your real feelings are what makes you, you and your channel inspiring sometimes... ✨️
Alf and I got out for a while this afternoon, he was playing chasing rocks, I was throwing into the Beck..
@stu.555 😊 thank you, it was probably my favourite video after editing it x
Remember she's always with you, just following your footsteps
🤗
Warm greetings from Germany.
hi Germany 🇩🇪! humans definitely are strange. i feel the same often if the weather is that way, but if i force myself out i always, always feel better. you’re right though, the sea is so hypnotic in all weathers. thanks you 🙏
@@missnancysdayoff By the way, my name is Frank, kentvangorp is just a pseudonym for TH-cam. I wish you a great weekend.
You on your back in that dead still water! Looked like an advert or film clip! You so beautiful and loverly location ❤xx
It was amazing having just water all my eyeline! Xx
@@missnancysdayoff you looking amazing 😻 xx
Lovely vlog. With you in your mourning.
thank you ☺️
Loved the expression at the beginning when you entered the water "Was this a good idea" well do
😅
Wow tori , what an amazing place, such beautiful landscape scenes . You did a fantastic job in capturing it's awesomeness. Your an amazing soul , keep up what your doing , I for one always look forward to your vlogs ....take care always tori your friend from Wiltshire ..lee❤
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it, was a really special landscape, I was happy to see it through all the tides and weathers! Take care too ❤️
Another good video Tori, living life 👌😎
Thank you!! 😁
Thanks for the video Beautiful Tori. Your an inspiration 👍🥰
Thank you so much!!☺️
Lovely video being with nature 🙂
Thank you ☺️
Good to see a video filmed close to my doorstep. There are some great sandy beaches along the west side of the North Norfolk coast. You really need to be careful not to get cutoff by the incoming tide though. Stay safe.
glad you liked it! I was pretty wary about the tide it can come in so fast when it’s flat like that, definitely good to have some local intel.
I was brought up in Norfolk and never really appreciated the area. Now I love it and watching this made me want to visit again.
that’s so nice to here! funny how we don’t always appreciate what’s on our doorstep we all do it
Hi ya.
Me being a Norfolk man through and through.
Also being a wildlife photographer and videographer.
I found this very interesting.
Didn’t realise this could be done.
Looks like you enjoyed yourself.
This is just the sort of thing I love to do.
Had to subscribe and 👍.

Hi Keith, thanks for the sub I’m glad you liked the video! It was a really special day, lucky you being from Norfolk I loved it 😊
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!! Greetings from Canada 🙂
Thanks for watching! I’d love to visit Canada again one day ❤
Crikey, found that incredibly touching and heartfelt.. First watch of your vlog, really enjoyed it. I recently moved to Norfolk, will definitely visit this place.
Glad you enjoyed it thank you! Oh lucky you, yeah I loved it there so wroth a visit
Interesting trip thanks. Wells and Holkham - just down the road are my favourite uk beaches.
i think I could see holkham in the distance, lovely
Such a lovely wander, in a different landscape, with some evocative names 😊
Brilliant that you're helping Podencos 💜 the Iberian hunting dogs are in desperate need
+25:44 artistic panorama of the cows ! (belted or saddleback or summut?)
Great music 😊
It was a very different landscape for me, loved it, wanted to visit since i started reading the books about Ruth Galloway! Isn’t Turco sweet, I just thought it could be a nice way to share some dogs i will do a different one each week, if there is a rescue i should look at let me know. Not sure what cows they were but so beautiful, almost seemed like a safari scene to me ☺️
I was in that part of the world about twelve months ago. It's really very beautiful. Lovely post, thank you. NB - Lord Nelson was born down the road from where you were, in Burnham Thorpe.
Glad you enjoyed it ☺️ I didn’t know that!
I'm new to your channel. I think this video of Scolt Head Island has to be some of the most beautiful views of the sea. It makes me want to explore the Norfolk coast. Thanks.
Welcome aboard! Really glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Very evocative, kinda melancholy but peaceful too.
😊 thank you
wonderful video, thank you.
New subscriber great video and love the rescue dog part in the middle. I'm an absolute massive animal lover and a full time nomad vanlifer with my 12 yr old blind staffy living our best lives ❤🐾🐾💯✌️👍🤟🚐🚐🚐 forgot to say i had a rescue greyhound but it went over rainbow 🌈 bridge but he stills travels with us in the van
Awesome! Thank you! Turco was my favourite bit 😍 oh wow, that’s cool it’s so nice adventuring with your dog 🐾and your greyhound ❤️ I like that, Miss Nancy is still travelling with me too, I just wish she was more solid 🐾
The place looks amazing. I haven’t been to Norfolk before, but I’m really tempted to go now 😊
that wild northern coast i reckon is worth visiting! ☺️
Excellent, thank you
Hi Tori, I've just found your channel yesterday and I love your vibe and also a love the outdoors and Greyhounds 💙❤️. Your videos have gave me another reality check of life 🤔🙂. Should I sell my camper 4x4 and go back to van life and travel around the uk 😊. Wish you all the happiness and care and keep the encouraging videos coming . Thank you so so much as I think there was a reason found your channel 😁😊. And i agree resue a greyhound 🙂x
hello, so glad you found the channel! my Miss Nancy really was the queen ❤️🐾 ah well now sounds interesting, can’t you do it in the 4x4 you have at the moment? thank you i really appreciate it ☺️ x
@chrishamilton2527 ☺️
@stevep1423 so easy to takes things for granted when you live near them, it’s really an amazing area
Wow! Taking on the Muds of Norfolk! barefoot! in October! and a Wild Swim as well! I doff my cap to you! Think I've over-used the !s!
Thank you! 🤩 although it wasn’t actually October when i filmed that i must admit, was beautiful though!
Mad! As in barking. But typically, wonderfully you, Tori! X ps, you're among friends here. Let it out x
😅 um pretty undeniable but what can i do! X
Environmentally friendly oatmeal (!) hahaaa
North Norfolk totty... wonderful... that's why I go a few times every year to walk the dogs along the beach... easy on the eyes for an old fella...
😅 were you that guy who sat down to watch me?!
@missnancysdayoff not guilty this time... I would have remembered one as beautiful as you... ( sounds like a song lyric, that does).
Keep posting.
@robertmitchell9415 😂 thank you 🙏
Tori, I really like the close up shots of your face & your beautiful blue eyes, thanks...
Glad you like them!
@@missnancysdayoff I'm a sucker for beautiful women with blue eyes, always have been...
53,000 watched. Only 9,000 subscribed. I did. I found the sign and discovered you were north and a little east of London. I was first in London as a student in 1957. Your video was really wonderful. I don’t know how the chance to view it popped onto my screen.
hey! I’m so glad the video popped up for you and you liked it, thanks for subscribing ☺️
And the sun came out! 😍
Dreamy! 😍
