Great reviews as always. Been stuck between, Aful 5+2, TANCHJIM ORIGIN, Dunu daVinci and Pula Anvil. Shame i can not try anything here in Montreal and need to blind buy so these reviews are a great help
@@CesarGonzalez-mx7su ill check out some reviews to see. Im new to iem's as i normally use over ear but getting a DAP and IEMS for workouts and outdoors
Hey, what do you think would be a good upgrade from the black Aria? I'm looking for something balanced, not harsh in the highs and enough bass to fill it out, also clear and not muddied/drowned out by the bass. I love all genres of music, ASMR, binuaral stuff, playing with sound design, mixing audio, and I'm a sucker for good vocals, though, I have been trying to not listen as much to other artists much lately. I'm just trying to find a good all-arounder. I was checking out the performer 5+2 (7), kind of the price I'm looking to spend, around! I appreciate any suggestions, trying to take advantage of this black Friday sale lol.
Amazing list! Just got out the 11.11 sales and now the BF sales are already here, off to new shiny gear! As always, chill intro, loved the fact that the defacto pull was the Gaea - it is such an amazing set 🙃
I really enjoyed watching this video. I agree with all of your IEM recommendations for the sale since I have all of them except for the Dynaquattro and the Pilgrim. I like each of your IEM recommendations for somewhat different reasons. For example, the Aful MagicOne has become my favorite "chill pill" IEM which I will listen to when I need to relax. The vacuum tube DAP which you present has caught my attention since I do like tube sound. Tons of people including myself really love your video intros. Your video intros are long enough and so nicely done that the intros put me in the mood to relax an enjoy watching the rest of your videos. I hope that you have a nice Thanksgiving!
Can someone tell me good deals? I want to start in the hifi world, don't know what to get, iem or headphones and which one, and if i should spend a a bit or much more.
Kefine Delci, single DD is a good starting point. Tho, i just got Kinera Relentless which is down to 99$ from 160$? 1 DD / 6 BA and frankly, they're very nice. Prefer them over
Oh bummers, i already spent on the 11.11 and got the Studio 4 Starry Version, could have saved a little more. Pilgrim was a good option too now that i think of it.
@@zmmmzmmmz I got it yesterday and it's a great set... for a single BA. In my opinion doesn't necessarily compete much just because of its great tech. It's only 55 bucks which is really cheap but you could save some more and get the Hexa which sounds way better in my opinion
They add a very warm, smooth quality to whatever set I'm listening to. I use them with IEMs in the evening as I wind down. Monday it was with my Pilgrim Noirs, Tuesday with EE Triton, Wednesday with Pilgrim OG and tonight with Dunu Mirai. They just work beautifully with everything
Probably. The only "different" dac amp because of the tubes. Everything else is just "same thing, different brand, different price". Volume-match them and you'll figure out fast that there is no such thing as "warm, clinical" blabla, same chips, same sound. M5 is probably endgame for most people : transistor mode + tubes + bluetooth. Great versatility at a good price.
Hey Dave. What does sponsorship by Hifigo actually involve? Cash payment? Free gear? It's important for people watching to understand the dynamics of your relationship with this sponsor. Full transparency would be greatly appreciated.
@@Rezzzn0r Yeah I get that man, but it's such a shame. They're just changing the banner every promotion and the prices are the same. And these TH-camrs are making it look like there is a SUPER MEGA deal happening or something.
Shout out to HifiGo. I ordered an Aful Cantor from them and they had it on my doorstep in 5 days. I've always had a good purchase experience from them. Great company sponsor. 🙂
" Heavily discounted " ? 😂😆🤣 Anything less than 50% off cannot be considered a deep discount . most mid to high end audio is marked up a minimum of 50 % and many items are much more . Fo example i bought the Polk SDA 1 back in 1985 at a mid to high end store. i got them at 50% off . they retailed for $1500 and still the dealer made money .
I had to ff because like who cares about 100 dollar iem , galf way through you showing iems that doesn't sale good not popular . Davinci is a big name but not a good iem , so best on list is the pilgrim
Kinera Relentless : 99$, 1DD+6BA, tastefully done V-Shape. Surprised it didn't get mentioned since it'd be a lot more engaging to any newcomer over single DD's
Hifigo didn't have to go this hard in their year end sales TH-cam marketing

davinici best bass, aful5+2 solid all rounder
Aful or Davinci tbf.
Origin is a 260$ single DD, thats nuthead territory. Anvil is...just another taste of the month overhyped thing.

I’m trying to get the Chopin but the 5% off code is not working for me ☹️
The Omega headphone stand must be your favorite. Do you worry about pad wear at all? Have one but have debated getting else.
Thanks for the list, I'm waiting for the P5+2 to go on sale haha.
Me too. No rush to get it.
Ibasso dx180 or muse m5 ultra? From your point of view which one has better sound?
Gosh Dave, I'm still waiting for the FiiO FH19 review. I saw that on your table weeks ago with the P7. Still waiting....
Ok I'm satisfied, I already own everything you showed :) thanks for the video!
I hope you’re enjoying your gear!

Could have saved more for what? Imo, Studio 4 is better than all the IEMs he promoted in this video
@wiesolos I meant the discount, didn't have the 5% code lol
Magic one is actually going for $70
Even 55 with AliExpress discounts
Is it worth it or spend more for better?

The dynaquatro is just a worse Kiwi Ears Cadenza but 200 uds more expensive...
Great video! Thanks you Dave. I'm just sitting here not thinking of how much I just spent, but how much I saved...Ha Ha!
These IEMs are already on sale since the Halloween. I don’t understand the point of making these videos.
Because it a sponsored video ;)
To get comments like that 😂

Welcome to youtube, glad i came across many commenters who pointed that out. But yeah, just sponsorship and artificial hype.

How is Cantor? I'm very tempted. Thx in advance.

Gonna get QoA Adonis New this Black Friday, for sure!
The best on your list is the pilgrim and what do you know , it's not even on the hifi go list, lol
It is?
Kinera Relentless is 50% off 😮
I like your vids, but you appear to have one of the least competent monitors on your desk I’ve ever seen reviewed. 🤷🏻♂️

Great review. 5% off code doesn:t work.
Thank you! Sorry about that. Let me see what's going on.
Best iem under 100 bucks ... Truth ear hexa
Best value $20 Gate and $50 Zero Red
Kinera Relentless. 3 more BA's, more engaging tuning, better unboxing experience, modular cable.
To me its cca hydro , Im selling my expensive campfire atlas because I cant justify 3 x price difference and Im keeping hydro ....
