    Does the Explorer sound very similar to the S08 for rap?
    Im kinda tempted to buy it but I feel like it will pretty much be the same as the S08 sound wise.

      If you have one, I would pass on the other. They're similar enough that I don't know if you would see the difference. They ARE different, but not in huge ways

    I just received my DUNU Lyre Mini cable! 😍
    I'm using it with my Lafitear LV1 and I'm now using my KBEAR Rhyme cable with my KZ Castor Bass. I'm still waiting for my Castor Pro Bass to arrive.
    Obviously, everyone should take differences in sound of cables with a grain of salt....."Paul W has said the KBEAR Rhyme cable cuts down the Highs/Treble on the sets that are too hot in the upper end."
    I noticed that the Lyre with my LV1 has focused the SubBass/Bass more, it's slightly cleaner sounding and the Highs/Treble are clearer too. That's just my initial listening as compared to my Rhyme cable.
    I feel the Lyre cable is more Premium feeling, build and just awesome looking plus it's Modular! The Rhyme cable is pretty awesome too, just different. I don't mind or am bothered by the Microphonics Noise of the Lyre either.
    Anyone who wants a real upgrade cable with Premium Build/Looks and isn't bothered by the Microphonics, get the DUNU Lyre Mini!
    Great recommendations/video AA!
    Cheers 😁

    Lyra cable is so functional and the connector is great. I tried to fix it with thin layer of rubber seal coating spray. But that made it too grippy and did not reduce microphonics enough. A pity.

    @AudioAmigoReviews hi, in your experience do the divinus tips release pressure in unvented iems?

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not really. The Tangzu Tang Sancai tips work better for releasing pressure, at least that’s what a friend of mine says. He has pressure issues and swears by them.

  • @CyrilNobody
    @CyrilNobody 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Thank you for your honesty. I love my Aful MagicOne but I have a little trouble with the pressure build up. Same with Sancai Eartips, do you have any advice other than using foam tips?

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Pressure can be an issue because of all the acoustic structures attached to the back vent. Only thing I can suggest is moving your jaw around as much as possible to try and break the seal temporarily and equalize pressure.

    Another thoughtful and therfore helpful video. I still have yet to find a tip more comfortable than the spinfit cp100+ I just wish the stem was recessed so my iems could sit a bit more flush inside my ears. Had no idea about that dunu cable. If wasn't saving up for the S08 I might get it. The screw on usb c adapter is clever and I suspect we'll be seeing more companies selling their own versions in 2025.

    I was planning on getting an S12 pro to go with my S08 but......The Magic One for this cheap is an automagic choice!

      The MagicOne is one of those sets that's cool to have more for what it is, rather than how it sounds. I know that's a terrible take, but in the land of IEM Pokemon, it checks a lot of boxes. And my Enginerding side really appreciates what went into its design from a functionality aspect as a technology demonstator.
      The fact the Snowy Night DAC matches it, is an added Cool Wall bonus point.

      @ It depends on your music and your ears and brain. It could be a lot, it might not. Don’t expect a whole different dimension of sound. It also might take time for your ears and brain to adjust. But if you don’t like it after a while, no harm in returning or selling.

      I know. It's like the pre-11.11 sale continued into the 11.11 sale, which is the biggest sale of the year on into the Black Friday sale.
      It's like there's some enormous gift giving holiday that's just around the corner. 🤣
      It's a conspiracy. 🥳

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I agree! HiFiGo sent me a list with like 70+ Sale Items and only 4 IEMs actually made the cut in terms of my "Good Deal" Price.
      When an IEM comes out, I make a note of the MSRP, and when things like the summer sales happen, I make a note of the lowest price from each seller and aliexpress.
      The 11/11 sales from everybody (Linsoul, Shenzhen Audio, HifiGo) were all massive dissapointments, because prices were actually lower during the summer sale in July.
      I only said these were the prices on the sale, and that they met or exceeded the discount required for my "Good Deal" price. As for eartips and the cable/DAC, I don't price track those, so I went by if they were cheaper than Amazon's 120-day lower price.
      Thanks for your comment. I need people to call me out. I actually appreciate it.

      @@AudioAmigoReviews The question of trust is dubious though.
      You found some good deals on good sets you personally liked and paid for. Didn't you personally buy everything in this list well beforehand? You weren't mentioning $250 cables and $800 IEMs as I've seen elsewhere.
      Have I overlooked something?
      On the other hand, it is totally possible you can completely monetize yourself and become... Audio Azeos. 🤪
      I know, I'm so wrong for that.

    Thanks for the Black Friday guide. I blew my budget for the 11.11 sales so I won't be getting any of these lol.
    $77 for the MagicOne is a great deal. I'd get it at that price for the novelty of very well done single BA.
    How do you feel of the silicone of the Render tips? I've tried a clone of the Symbio tips, which are similar silicone jacketed foam tips like the Render. The Symbio silicone feels a bit thick compared to say Spinfit, and so the feel is a bit "forceful".
    Technically there's a cheaper modular cable than the Lyre Mini from QKZ on AX. I just got it for 11.11 sales, but I don't really recommend it. Feels cheap and the friction fit on the connector is a bit too tight. Good for a one and done, but really felt worried I might slip my grip and bend the pins lol. But still the cable sheathing is meh. Fitting for a cheap cable I suppose. I'd like to try the Lyre Mini when my fun budget recovers lol.
    Keep seeing the Snowy Night but I kind of leery of these dongles. I feel like for my uses I'd like a BT dongle that can also do wired when I'm not on the move like the Fiio's or the Muse Hifi's. Have to pay more though.

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The new M5 with the tubes looks amazing and is getting rave reviews. I went and put the render tips next to my Spinfit CP145s. The silicone appears to be about equal in thickness if that helps.
