I am with you about putting them on trial how can a high carb low fat is healthy? if They say limit your sugar intake then how can they promote those sugars bottom of the food pyramid. if they say we are talking about complex carbs then why allowed 90% of those refined in the food shelf.

You really can't blame those people. They have been indoctrinated with a dogma that has been embedded into their belief system. Think religion and such beliefs which create behaviors which are often associated with xenophobic-like treatment towards those who are not same-like followers.
Best to assume that some will never change but some will who have open minds.

Professor Noakes is one of the kindest, most humble human beings alive today. I once bumped into him while we were running the Two Oceans Marathon. He doesn’t know me from a bar of soap, but I have read his books and listened to some of his presentations. In my excitement I bombarded him with questions for at least 15 minutes. He patiently answered and explained everything I asked, while running! I’ll respect him for his humanity for as long as I live. Indeed one of the greatest men of our generation!

Thank you for fighting against the ignorance and arrogance of the powerful.
Just today I read news about how the norwegian ministry of health are concerned with norwegians high meat consumption (especially red meat). Norwegians eat 60% less meat than Australians and Americans. They reckon they can save billions in health costs if we tax meat to make the meat prices 20% higher. I'm not joking. I'm crying!

Twice in the last 5 years I have had to correct my life style to regain my health and both times the two Dr's could not believe the results and even though I explained what was happening and told them that they could cure a lot of their type 2 diabetes patients but they were still bowing up against what I was saying even though my lab test were right before them.
Sometime the conversation became heated because I would say things like "you are doing your patients a terrible injustice"
One even stated my case was an anomaly! You can't fix arrogance!
I told them my health was my responsibility and I fired both of them.
Find an open minded Doctor to help you, not one that thinks your improvement without them was somehow magic!

I salute the courage of a man who was able to admit and publish the truth, when his reputation had been built on promoting an opposite view. We need more people who are willing to stand up and speak the truth to those who endeavour to suppress and distort it.
We all want to believe that the aim of science is to reveal the truth. We all want to believe that the role of the government is to protect the public. We all want to believe that the role of food manufacturers is to produce food. And we all want to believe that the role of medicine is to support health and prevent disease.
Increasingly, it seems, we are forced to accept that the only course is to educate ourselves and take responsibility for our own health.
Thank you, Professor Noakes, for all you have done to promote the truth.

Unfortunately, it has often been the case that truth when discovered and spoken about is decried and put down as simply ‘wrong’. There are too many example to cite here.
Also, our modern life has spawned a food industry with political power and any change that threatens their ‘bottom line’ will be castigated, regardless of facts and truth.
It is awful that this wrong has been perpetrated upon such an honest human being, always working towards improving the human lot and honestly admitting past mistakes and errors.
I would love to be able to give the Professor and his colleagues a crystal ball to see the future when these obvious truths will have been proven and accepted. Of course, by then, the food industry will be profiting by providing the food they hopefully are already researching that is supported by the then approved and recommended food standards.
Thank you Professor for all your hard work, your honesty and bravery in taking on that malicious challenge on behalf of the human races’ health.

When I first learned of Tim, his experience, the anger was positively visceral. We must continue to support him (this experience will be slow to heal) and others who speak their truth and yet are vilified by the uneducated, the petty, the weak. The dietician who reported him did not do so privately, based out of concern but rather showboated her opinion on social media, with threats. To me this was a form of blackmail. And she should be persecuted in a court of law. Not a kangaroo court, nor by social media peeps, but in the same trial conditions as Tim endured.

This was all based on one short tweet/post?! Wow! That is absolutely crazed. There is plenty of evidence for babies weaned on (especially raw) vegan starving/dying, but none for other diets. There is no perfect human diet. People have lived on local foods for most of human history and do well on a vast variety. Our adaptability is why we can live anywhere.

High fat, low carb is very bad for the economy, hence why the system goes after those who speak truth to power…

If you look at Claire Julsing Stryd's twitter, she's still (pun intended) strydently wrong. Certainly, she's consistent, anyway.
