It is so funny when Nick shows up with the guys.. they are all literally squished together on one couch and the rest are standing surrounding said couch. And Nick gets a whole full size couch to sit on alone. I would love to hear what the producers said to them "okay guys everyone sit on this couch!! the other couch is hot lava!! stay as far away from the hot lava couch as you can!!"
I couldn't stop laughing during that scene! Those producers know what they are doing xD
I thought it would've been hilarious if Nick would've looked at the guys, walked over to them, pointed at the crowded couch, & asked, "Is this seat taken? ... Oh, it is? ... Okay, I'll just sit over here with the nerds." Then, walked over to sit on the empty couch.

I didnt join bachelor nation until Hannah Brown's season, and solely through Lauren Zima (LOVE YOU GIRL!!) And now I get to catch up on all the previous seasons!! Love these recaps as a way to keep it all alive while Covid is still kickin!

Gabrielle Desouter did he just dump her?! Because the way she explains it, “....after over 3 years they weren’t really moving on, couldn’t get past some old issues and they only had 2 options...stay the course and not really accomplish much in their relationship or break up and move on”. It sounds like it was a mutual and amicable decision.
I see this comment everywhere, and Ihave to say: Yes, but they cast FOR the possible leads. So they need to start picking better leads, and also, give credit where credit's due. If Peter would have had better taste, I bet his top 8 women could have been fantastic, but he chose to keep some ridiculous people. So I think Kaitlyn deserves credit in continually keeping THE best guys."

HI Lauren! I am enjoying these greatest seasons shows. I started watching The Bachelor in the middle of Andrew Firestone's season. I was instantly hooked, been a fan ever since, but the franchise took on a whole new meaning when I found Roses & Rose. You are the icing on the cake!
I wish they did an update on Brit. Also on the guy who left the show to date Brit.

Britt is married and expecting her first child
They dated for two months, broke up but stayed friendly. He eventually introduced her to one of his closet friends kind of knowing they'd be a good fit. She's now married to his friend, happy, and has a child on the way.

I think it is fun reliving old Bachelor shows and learning what everyone is up to.
I’m not sure why they announced The Bachelor so early, it was a clear “We’re just trying to look good” move. But, since they did, I’m not sure why they did pick someone we were already invested in. I’ve actually been rooting for a Black Bachelor the last 3 seasons Eric or Kenny, Wells and of course Mike. I would have LOVED to see one of them instead of some guy I don’t even know and honestly seems a little douchy from what I’ve seen of him online

Dramatic much. It’s just so horrible to be close to your sons and have a loving tight relationship. I find it sad so many find loving family weird. Nothing more important as a mom then your kids being happy and she is just passionate about it and Madison sucked.
ss I have 3 adult sons whom have a very close relationship with me however I would never treat them as if they still breast fed like Barb does. She has no respect for Peters decisions and he will never be able to grow up into a mature, functioning man as long as he can’t make grown ass decisions. And her involvement in his sex life and the way he objectives women is all Barbs doing. She’s never taught him about respect because she has none. Her husband looks terrified of her. I could go on but if people can’t see how wrong she is..it’s not worth it.

I was majorly annoyed with the start of Kaitlyn's season. The Bachelorette was made to finally put a woman in the driving seat, but this beginning put the power in the hands of the men. NO NO NO. Also, sidenote, Nick throwing away those two rings in anger was hilarious.

Narcisa Mendez I wonder why she missed it? A lot of good content. I think he was one of the best bachelors and had a great, mature, diverse group of women as contestants and married a women of color. I think it would have been a very appropriate show to review.

Poor Shawn, I can't help but feel they played him real bad. Back in the day I was obsessed with Kaitlyn and Shawn; they were the IT, Powe Couple of Bachelor Nation. Unfortunately Shawn revealed that the fact that Kaitlyn decided to have sex with Nick knowing Shawn was the one, was a burden he had to carry in his relationship and things didn't work out in the end. I'm happy for Kaitlyn and Jason looks like a fine man, but ever since they broke off their engagement Shawn has been thrown to the sidelines and has been forgotten by Bachelor Producers and Nation. No one talks about him anymore, his social media following has died down and now they are acting like he almost didn't exist by not showing his engagement in the recap? That's harsh and rude. At the end of the day, Shawn was an excellent guy and contestant. I know Kaitlyn was the Bachelorette, but does that mean we have to forget about Shawn? He deserves better.
Maybe Shawn himself doesn't want anything to do with the franchise...
He was not an excellent guy. He wasted 3 years of Kaitlyns life with lie promises and guilts and told her he never loved her fully when he broke up with her. He wanted to get to his gym and when he did, he left kaitlyn right at that time.

She didn’t. She did address this on Twitter. Since he’s recording the show at home and they’re running about of space to film she started filming this at her apartment but she is still staying with Chris and the kids :)

You mentioned Ashley I and Kaitlyn both being on Chris Souls’ season and then Jared being on Kaitlyn’s season and now Jared and Ashley are married. Don’t forget that at one of the reunions, Andi and Kaitlyn talked about having Nick in common and Rachel joined the conversation reminding them that she also dated Nick. They forgot that she was on his season of the Bachelor.

Watching Kaitlyn's season once was more than enough for me. Lauren, your recaps make the show way more entertaining! I've only watched a few bachelorette seasons but hers was the worst. Ali's was my fav. Ali seems so authentic & she has a cute laugh. Her season had "fake drama" but it wasn't too bad

Matt was casted as a Hail Mary to the mistakes and outcries the franchise has made prior without casting a black bachelor for so long. Thank you for finally doing it but there is just so much disingenuousness about it and that’s a shame. Our Bachelorette hasn’t had her season filmed yet and even before BLM protest happened the network didn’t care! They didn’t cast as many mixed racial people in each given season so when we get a “Mike” everyone roots for him then you guys go the opposite direction.and when the country is protesting you guys cast a man who isn’t in the franchise as if the other contestants were not good enough and he’s just Tyler Cameron’s BFF. This is me being mad at the franchise not ET OR Lauren Zima because she is queen. That’s all

I read somewhere it is probable he was cast on Clare's season as an in to be the Bachelor next cycle. Sounds like BLM just hastened the announcement.
