I had never met my husband but we met at a disco club I went with a couple of friends, but I wasn't feeling well at all so I didn't dance with anyone! Then my husband came across from the other side of the room and I promise you time stopped!! Light surrounded him and it was like the room parted and my husband walked towards me with his hand held out and asked me if I would like to dance with him...I danced the entire night with him..I went home that night and told my Mom that I had just met the Man I was suppose to marry!! We've been married 40 years.. sure hope I get 40 more! ❤❤

Clare I feel like often talks in dramatic movie type ways i.e. “I would never want my kids to have a father like you” “I’m 39 and single because I didn’t put up with MEN. LIKE. THAT.” “I just met my husband” etc. She talks in a way that a person behind a camera often does but not necessarily how people I feel like in real life do 🤷🏾♀️ not fake really but more...grandiose

That fawning over him made me uncomfortable. The hopeless romantic in me liked her first reaction and the production around it... but I cringed so hard when she went in for the kiss but he wasn't on the same level of intensity and her hands were left hanging for a while....
Yeah that was cringe-y. His reaction afterward saved it a little bit as he may have just been too nervous to kiss on TV for the first time whereas Clare was super comfortable and friends with all the producers and kissed on TV many a time

Clare keeps on saying "I am a 39 year old woman - I know what I want..." she might be 39 but seems to react like she is stuck in her teenage years, very irrational, making up stories in her head that he is her prince charming WITHOUT even knowing this guy. Don't get me wrong - I know this feeling all too well, but back from when I was 14 years old (!), seeing my high school crush for the first time, walking all handsome around the hallway. So yes, Lauren: I agree, there is attraction at first sight. But love takes time. Also, I am still waiting for my psychic abilities... :D

Honestly most people hit about 15 and mentally stop growing up. I'm not joking. Talk to a bunch of women in their 60's and their bodies may have aged but their brains haven't... same thing for men.
Being more in tune with your emotions and feelings doesn’t make someone irrational or a teenager. She doesn’t act on them, she’s still building the relationships. Stop the stigma around this. It’s not ok.
How can you have a party all night long and into the morning and not have time to talk to 30 guys for 5 minutes each? That's 2.5 hours.
It’s not just 5 minutes each though. It’s a production. Cameras would need to set up in different locations for most of those encounters before they even start talking. And with the limo entrances, pausing filming to hose down that drive all the time and the ITMs, I’m surprised they ever get it all done in one night.
I honestly think that the show might be setting Clare up to look bad, so that when she leaves, people will be against her and on the side of "The Show". I say this because I listened to Bach podcasts recently and a FEW former Bachelor/ette leads, said they didn't get to talk to 3-4 people night one, and that's common!! However, people in the house discussing it, is usually NOT AIRED so we can have the facade that they got to every guy and made an 100% informed decisions in regards to who they kept. So do with that information what you will...
"I knew it" was her going through all of guy's social media accounts during the break and liking what she saw of Dale the most.
Does it bother anyone else that they refuse to mention that she got ENGAGED on tv after bachelor winter games... like it’s just weird to me that they won’t mention it at all..
It is so strange. She even filmed a catch up with Benoit for the premiere, but they didn't show it. I think maybe it didn't fit in with their 'unlucky in love' narrative they're trying to push. But I agree.

I think that Clare was genuine. You could tell she was visibly shaken and teared up. Dale definitely made her feel a certain type of way and their energies were defiant aligned. She did her research & he was probably one of her top pics. God only knows how much time she spent on their profiles analyzing and day dreaming of her future with them. I felt their connection for sure but I hope she at least gives a few of the other guys a chance to see if she has one with them as well. 🌹

Met my husband when we got set up on a blind date. When I walked into the room & he looked up me from the bar..I had a deja vu moment. Like I had lived this moment before & we just clicked instantly. Before that I never believed in love at first sight or had an experience like that. Not sure if it was love at first sight but we are still going strong over 8 years later. I hope Claire finds love.

She and Dale both said that they felt they were “empaths” when they talked and kissed. She was “waiting” for the kiss. SHE was reaching for his face. Why did she do the show? Why didn’t she just meet Dale on her own? Producers had to be going crazy! I’m ready for The Bachelor.

At first I thought Clare definitely had talked to Dale during quarantine, but now I'm leaning more towards the theory that she just cyber stalked him and developed a major crush. And then when they met the chemistry hit and she just lost her shit. Feels kinda immature if you ask me but it's definitely possible.
My big question is, do they get a whole day to sleep and reset after an all-nighter rose ceremony? I always wondered that. I feel like I would be hella exhausted if dates started immediately the next day.
Claire was so positive and welcoming the whole night I really appreciated it. I wasn’t too excited about her but I’ve changed my mind watching how much she glowed with happiness last night. You can tell Claire really wants this for love it doesn’t seem like a fame thing. Hope she found exactly what she needed!
I think she specifically mentioned that Blake was the “only one who messaged her” to deflect from the fact that she and Dale had been communicating. Maybe not, but they seemed to have some sort of history that I can’t explain any other way

It seemed to me that he was aware of her mother’s condition and that they had discussed it. When he asked “how is she doing” it was with familiarity. I believe they had talked before the show and that’s why they made it a point for her to call out the other guy so she seemed innocent.
Clare said she looked.up everyone on social media so she knows alot more then other bachelorettes could ever have. The guys also had time to look her up and she posted things about her mother and herself having a hard time dealing with it so they know she is a family person, she loves friends and friends. I do think it helped her figure out who she might like more. she had time to think of questions before meeting them. I hope this helped her pick the right person.

I'm not convinced she met Dale ahead of time. I think she sleuthed harder and had a better idea of who she was going to pick, but almost all the Bachelorettes have given their first impression rose to the final guy. Maybe it's just an intuition thing and she had more information than the bachelorette normally has?
I hate to generalize, but women have amazing intuition. We freaking know. We know when a guy’s cheating, we know when a guy’s insincere, we know when a guy’s The One. It’s not just physical, we picture kids with someone, we picture having a house with someone, we picture fighting with someone, and sometimes all of it just fits.
I can tell you, her reaction to Dale reminded me of 18-20 year old me... love is not a fairy tale unfortunately. I thought I knew what I wanted in those days but let me tell you I should’ve taken my time to actually get to know people, instead of going with my gut feeling! I’ve been married to my husband now for 5 years and I don’t believe in love at first sight, that’s called lust at first sight!

So, yes a bit different. But I think it goes back to personalities and belief systems. Nick is a pretty analytical dude -- I doubt he went into the experience with a belief of love at first sight. Clare obviously had the belief even if she didn't realize it or ever think it would happen for her. My point was more so that leads often say they know who their pick will be from the beginning. They just go through the motions and tell themselves they are evaluating other options as the show continues. So, it's kind of amazing the show works at all.

I watched the Dale intro scene twice because I was analyzing it with all the anticipation and she seemed so giddy. The more I watch them the more I think it’s just a lust based attraction. They are clearly attracted to each other but I really question if it will last long term. Even if she chooses him I worry those sparks are eventually gonna fade

Yosef has some aggressive facial expressions, that hint at an anger problem. His stewing-in-anger face shows immaturity. Also he's a medical device salesman, aka immature frat bro ... no thanks ... "keep your catheters, but leave the free sandwiches" - nurses. Tyler did the right thing in approaching that guy straight up and calling Yo-bro out for not being committed to Clare. Tyler apologized to Clare on behalf himself and Yo-bro. I am excellent at reading people, usually spot on, and Yosef seems not so nice.

I think when she said "I knew it" she was referring to early when she said said you would know when she met her husband and that she believed she was going to meet him here.
I normally do not watch the Bachelorette, but Claire is a Beautiful Woman. Her emotional response to Dale I believe is real. Truly a woman knows and feel what she wants. Even if Dale doesn't add up to what she thinks of him doesn't negate her feelings. If I was a betting man, I think Dale has found his future Wife, If he wants it.

Hey Girl, I missed you!!!! Now, that moment Clare and Dale met was Electric. I could feel that through the Screen!! My biggest take from the premier was the Maturity displayed by all. Loved it! I don't care if she talked to them all before-hand. It's not like it's never happened before, right?
