What if the Entity turned Anna into an elk for the same reason they turned Kazan into an oni, to anger her and constantly remind her of the traumatic event which gives the Entity more to feed off?
Mabye, But This is a male elk, It is most likely not huntress, It has male voice lines, So unless huntress got turned into a guy, This is not huntress, Also the reason why he might be wearing a dress, Is mabye because he stole the clothing from some random victims.
@@totesmcgoats7094 how do we know it is a male elk? How do we know that they are male voice lines? it is literally a not real creature how would we know what the male vs the female sounds like
Yeah but why not use someone who is mentioned? Why doesn’t Sable have any lines to Mikaela? Even if Mikaela did not respond, which would also be creepy it is a bit strange. Of course it wouldn’t be the first time that lore is sacrificed because of BHVRs whims at the time. Legion suffers from this a lot.
Well obviously, we know that they only made sable into Mikaela's friend *after* they made her a goth witch girl. It's just more fun to have a more explanation
I have a theory about Sable! What if she isnt the best freind of Mikaela, but is obsessed with her and her dark stories. Maybe she is a stalker who feels a bond that isnt there and Mikaela never really noticed Sable. But for Sable, Mikaela is the best friend she never had
@@annareifer2249 Yeah absolutely, it would give her so much more deepness i think. And idk, it could even possibly explain her basement related perks. She was just watching from below, but never reached the person that was up on the stage. Would make her a really sad character qwq
That sounds like a good explanation for her. My alternate one is that Sable isn't real, per se, but both she and The Unknown were characters in a story that Mikaela had written. Sable's story has all the ear marks of an early writer testing their wings. A character who's Not Like Other Girls, a creature with spooky but ill defined powers and back story
They went to the cinema together though. I think it can be simply explained that the mikaela is from a different reality where Sabel and her never was friends to begin with. It fixes everything just fine.
The thing about Unknown's voice lines is that mid-trial they seem to be aimless and pleading, but in the menus it directly addresses the player in a more seemingly aware nature, where what it says isn't something it stole but what it directly infers of its own accord. I also think that in trials that the player isn't controlling the killers, but rather they're controlling the entity, thus why flashlights work on something like pyramid head who doesn't even have eyes. So in this instance, the line Unknown says to the player "I will not be denied my happiness" is basically the Unknown stating its displeasure with the entity having captured it, denying it of its prey. But that's just my crackpot theory.
Fun fact: The text of Mikaela's tome skin "Heritage America Presents" says "She met her Best Friend at the cinema...", this is the first and only time Sable Is (kinda) mentioned on ANYTHING related to Mikaela (at least before her reveal).
To me some of the Unknowns voicelines like "I will not be denied my happiness" imply that it isnt some kind of feral creature like demo or xeno simply parroting things it heard from its victims but rather an intelligent, sapient entity.
it's most likely a retcon but I wonder if Sable comes from an alternate universe where she knew another Mikaela and that's why the Mikaela we have in-game doesn't mention her
We all know it's going to be a retcon. They only did it for sales and marketing. Both are cut from the same cloth. If they actually followed the lore, it would've been Julian instead. But, he's a male character so that's a no for them. And there is a reason why they haven't given us Jordan yet, the adoptive brother for haddie. They pretty much abandoned lore and are going for potential survivors that have good future investments. Typical companies
@@Peachrocks5 There's one piece of menu dialogue she has where she mentions a woman who is "Protected by the power of good" which might be safe to say she's talking about Mikaela. Sadly that's about the only line where she mentions her
Possible, also I think it's fair to just assume that lore wise in game explanation, we don't hear about every person. Like, it's very possible Mikaela is more important to Sable than the reverse.
You talked about theories of Anna and the Were-Elk. You and others failed to mention the Red Queen's mask above the bunny mask. There is a charm of a bunny mask that states it is an early design. Therefore, Anna is unharmed, and the Were-Elk recovered the original mask as a souvenir. Both masks on the back are clean, as I doubt the Were-Elk would wash the relics of slain competetors. Sable wasn't mentioned in Mikaela's lore because it wasn't Mikaela's to tell. No character tells their backstory. The Entity reveals the things it wants us to know while refraining from informing us of everything. It leaves us with the mysteries of all people, places, and things. Since our Archives are read by the Observer, I can conclude he is the one who is giving us all characters' lore.
Tbh I feel like Trickster should have been the vampire with how flamboyant he is (+a vampire throwing knives for Jojo fans to fall head over heels for)
When they do finally add in, oh I don't know, Dracula or some other vampire as a killer, you know they will give Trickster a vampire outfit, saying he turned probably willingly.
I have a disturbing theory about the unknown : he was actually a human, but his body has changed and twisted like that because those tentacles got inside him (the tentacles we see in his mori). he is just an empty shell from the outside, but in the inside the tentacles are what controls his movement (you can notice how weird he moves and how weird he breaks pallets due to the tentacles) Also , many of his voice lines gives the impression that the human consciousness still somehow exists within him that's why in many of his voice lines he is asking for help .. which is very disturbing if you think about it for a moment.. i think the human who got possessed by the tentacles still have consciousness left in him.. that's why most of his voice lines are asking for help
That or his voice lines are intended to lure potential victims away from where they might be observed. Asking for help to lure someone into helping him, or offering them candy to lure them with the promise of sweets, or offering to show the victim something. But I agree, I think The Unknown is a tentacle creature in a human skin suit. Possibly it could be a survivor who managed to escape the Entity’s realm only to be mutated by his passage through the void or caught by one of the creatures in the void. By the time he returned to reality he had lost all humanity and become a monster. In the end it would all be for nothing when he was recaptured by the Entity to become a killer. The ultimate case of the Entity taunting the survivor with the hope that he could actually escape only to pull him back after he sacrificed everything to achieve that freedom.
fun fact, the "you.. want some candy?" voiceline is a possible predator (the alien hunters) reference, as it is one of the characters most haunting voice mimicry of the character. (often the "you..." is left out but the distorted "want some candy?" is pretty infamous)
Were-Elk didn't killed Huntress, it is Huntress. in all her costumes including Baba Yaga, Mordeo is actually Anna turning into these beings. even the Baba Yaga costume mentions how her voice deepens and she changes entirely Unlike the Minotaur which is stated to be separate beast that emerged from the Fog, these cosmetics clearly hint at being Anna herself, turning into these creatures
@@DanielC0005so is the Were elk cross dressing? because that looks like a skirt they have on (I'm kinda siding that it's huntress transformed after the elk encounter that killer her mother/ Why would a random Were elk take the masks)

2:53 An interpretation of this I’ve heard is that, while Sable valued Mikaela’s friendship, Mikaela didn’t care nearly as much about Sable. Maybe Sable just wasn’t very important to Mikaela, and that’s why Sable isn’t mentioned. Maybe Mikaela just saw her as an acquaintance.
Technically since you brought up Yoichi there is another clairvoyant in the realm - Alan. Who's actual paranatural ability is being able to see into other parallel universes (confirmed) and implied the future of his own and other universes (Given how close he gets things right about Casey.) Given the heavy implication he can see into the future, that makes him clairvoyant to a degree. And given his (current) ability to manipulate the future and reality as well, things get confusing between which are his own abilities and which are those from the Dark Place.
what we do know about the difference in mikaela and sable is that mikaela was took into the realm, whereas sable willingly went in. it could be perhaps because of this, sable retains her memories and because mikaela was quote unquote “stolen” by the entity, her memories remained fractured and a bit all over the place. i don’t know, possible theory with potentially no meaning.
Why Sable is not mentioned in Michaela lore is simple , the devs have not created Sable back then actually that simple :D anyways good video as always Azhy
I think Michaela not remembering Sable because Michaela we know is not from the same reality, its the same thing when we have multiple of the same survs in the trials, they are from the different time lines, so Michaela lore described in the game could be from the world where they were never friends, or even know eachother.
The Were-elk theory is so weird to me cause one of the biggest theories about her is that she's a werewolf. But now that she finally gets a skin like that, everyone assumes she killed Anna instead because of the mask?
1:52 clairvoyance isn't predicting the future, its having connections to things that happened in the past that you otherwise shouldnt have knowledge of.
Were Elk is definitely more dangerous than huntress because its hard to hear the wind up so you end up either getting clocked in the back of the head or running into a wall then getting snacked anyway
I loved that ending lol. Also I've been wondering how youre're doing. I remember a video where you talked about sclaing back the content on this channel for your mental health.

The Sable theories everyone keeps bring up were interesting, but I’m kind of getting tired of how hung up people are about this. The reality is, Sable just didn’t exist when they wrote Mikaela’s lore & they wouldn’t even think up Sable until years later. It’s that simple, it’s not creepy.
Few things on thus One - No The Unknown doesn't, it's own lore and Sables mention disappearances related to it, if it wiped everyone's memory then no one should know someone disappeared. Without the memories Sable would of investigated Entitiy disappearances and wouldn't of mentioned The unknown to Mikaela, and Oliva (Unknown lore), was investigating The Unknown hence why it tried to attack her Two - Mikaela was taken before Sable, Sable entered the realm without ever encountering The Unknown, she wasn't a victim of it
Btw even if Sable was a victim, Mikaela was in the realm before that, every death returns someone's memory to the point of their entry, and Sable would of been brought before her death to the Unknown which isn't shown in her lore
We know how Sable was taken, we’ve seen it in the All Things Wicked Trailer and her lore - she went to the cinema and found a hidden passage, an overlap, into the Entity’s Realm
0:56 I think a more plausible theory, is a lot of maps for example are taken from a persons memory, so what I was thinking is that the elk is just how Huntress sees that elk that killed her mom, in her own twisted mind that is. Underlying fears and all.
I think the tendril from the unknown is like it's mouth or tongue, because during the mori the unknown absorbs the survivor after stabbing them with the tendrils
The sable and mikaela lore is easy to explain. Different timelines or dimensions or what you would call it. Mikaela we know is from a reality where she was not friends with Sabel, while Sabel is from a reality where she was Mikaela's best friend.
I think sable is makalas friend from another timeline and the makala we got is from a timeline when they didnt meet that could explain that and the unknown could be a escaped entity monster that the entity recaptured and wanted to use it since it proved to be strong
The blights serum mutated the killers but killed the survivors possibly because the entity tampered with it to keep blight from having his own army of mutants
3:13 i personaly dont believe this you also see her getting taken by the fog and its not because mkeila never talked about her that she doesnt exist also back then the creators dint had cable in mind i find it a bad theory to be honest
Anna being the Were-Elk also makes for another disturbing possibility. The Were Elk's mori looks like how the elk killed Anna's mother. What if Anna killed her mother as the were elk, then disassociated the occurrence as happening outside herself. Envisioning herself outside her body as a little girl even as she slew her mother as the enraged were beast.
I wonder when the Unknown saying "want some candy" is a 2nd reference to Predator (1st being the grid alien). Its what the kid said to the Predator in the sequal movie, and the Predator repeated it but its distorted in a way similiar to the Unknown.
I don’t understand. Are we using game itself as lore or not? Some of these facts do, but that has wild lore implications. Like servers shutting down, dc bots, hackers, etc.
The Were-Elk is also carrying a Mosin Nagant on its back. That rifle was the most prominent rifle used by both the Russian Empire and Soviet Union. Meaning it has most likely killed Russian soldiers. That in my eyes lends a bit more legitimacy to it being the Huntress, as she has killed both German and Russian Imperial forces, the Russians would be using almost exclusively the Mosin Nagant at that point in time.
geez...ngl, i always thought the Coldwind silo was like a crashed zeppelin or blimp....i never really thought about why it would be there, but i guess now it makes sense, haha been wondering that since 2018, lol
9:53 I gotta say, I never knew this, and with that said I'd love to share a little story. I own two copies of DBD, one being my main account on my PC, and the other copy just sitting there on my secondary Steam account which I use on my laptop. The reason for this - sometimes I like to test out things in custom games and just need an idle NPC, so I use my laptop for that. Sometimes I need a specific set of characters too, and so that one time I bought Sadako for my secondary account. I did my testing, didn't touch the game on my laptop for months. Xenomorph released and I once again booted up my laptop, to my surprise - The Tape started playing in the intro, which raised a question mark over my head, but I didn't think too much of it - "Eh, just some weird bug" I thought to myself waving it off. Now I realised why that happened, got a nice little chill, and I got to say I do really like this little Easter egg :)
10:41 Well the thing about patient screaming and acting as if he’s in the trial could potentially indicate the Entity works similarly to the Nowhere in the Little Nightmares series, it starts out by testing people in their dreams, basically giving them nightmares to see how they’ll react and deciding from there whether they’re worth recruiting. Possibly it gets a small hit of energy from the fear caused by such nightmares but it’s not as efficient as doing the trials with live humans. Alternatively perhaps this really is all a dream and that’s why the characters can be killed repeatedly without issue. Honestly the Darkening lore reminds me of Dragon Quest, in Dragon Quest 3 the final boss is a monster with ice powers who rules over a world he’s plunged into eternal darkness, and in Dragon Quest 8 your opponent controls creeping vines (thorns in his case) and can take over people’s minds through their desire for power. Possibly even though they were ultimately defeated their souls still persist enough to seep into the Entity’s realm. Regarding Sable and Michaela mostly she just wasn’t planned. I think they actually planned to have Julian appear as a second survivor since the Entity is stated to have taken him. I wonder what happened to him.
4:03 Wonder what the odds are that it's Dracula. Especially given that Vlad Teppes III had a thing for stakes in real life. That or Dimitrescu, given how the devs go for fanservice focused around women.
With Sable, I’d assumed she’s from a different universe than the Mikaela we have in game. That’s why she’s not mentioned in Mikaela’s lore and why in Sable’s lore it talks about how she and Mikaela went to get tattoos but Mikaela ends up backing out last minute. The Mikaela in game however obviously has a rather substantially sized tattoo. So my headcanon is that the Mikaela in game is from a universe where sable didn’t exist or wasn’t friends with Mikaela so when Mikaela goes and gets her tattoo she doesn’t have the time to back out as she would if she had a friend getting tatted right before her.
For everyone Thinking about how dark Dead by Daylight is. *Think about The most disturbing things mankind Could never think could ever exist, And there's your answer.*
I like to interpret The Unknown’s “ dungeons long forgotten “ line as The Unknown having existed and murdered people for ages, sort of like how The Entity has existed for thousands of years and has been taking people from varying time periods. So the line “ I lived in dungeons long forgotten “ could’ve come from a victim during the Middle Ages, who was at one point or another, condemned to rot in a dungeon, but seemingly made it out, only to get killed by The Unknown.
Sable might well be an alter ego of Mikaela's, or represent the part of her that wants to explore the occult stuff in the first place. ...or the Entity might have pulled her straight from my spank bank. Who can say?
3:58 I believe that's supposed to be Vlad the Impaler. I mean, yes, his real existence had influenced the creation of Dracula, but I don't think it's right to call Vlad a Vampire in the traditional sense. Just a twisted man.
screaming about the Tanuki it's so adorable and I've seen it twice now! it starts in the statue form then puffs into animal form then puffs away I thought there would be much more to it rather than a little easter egg but man its SO DARN CUTE
My theory on Mikaela's lore not mentioning sable? The fact that Mikaela released 3 years before sable and sable probably wasn't a thought, then had a friendship retconned into existence when sable released. No hidden straws to grasp at.
Imagine if Sable is actually one of those crazy stalker characters who just liked Mikaela after like one encounter that lives in her own delusional world thinking Mikaela and her are best friends (or more if we get more crazy) but really Mikaela only knows her as a co worker who’s just there. This definitely builds upon how Sable seems to know Mikaela well only since only Sable address they had a connection while Mikaela knows nothing about it. I mean only crazy people would enter the fog.
There's a simple answer I can think of for Sable not being in Mikela's lore - Sable only exists in certain multi-verse universes but not the one that original survivor Mikela came from. Considering DBD has an entire multi-verse, in one universe Sable and Mikela could have met while in another, Sable simply never existed due to the history preventing her existance.
For the whole "Mikaela not knowing Sable" thing, we know it's possible for the entity to take killers and survivors from different universes. It's possible Mikaela comes from a universe where she never met sable, or sable doesn't exist, and sable comes from one where she and Mikaela were best friends.
I think the reason Sable isn’t mentioned in Mikaela’s lore (aside from not being a planned character yet) is because their friendship is extremely one-sided Mikaela is Sable’s only friend, but Mikaela has far more friends than just Sable
10:18 I was so annoyed when I found out about this because when it happened for me I thought my game bugged, resulting in my mashing every button, skipping it
Sub theories/explainations 1. Wereelk is Anna being mutated by the Entity a la Carmina. The original lore huntress had no supernatural touches (bar Entity) but more and more unrealistic things were added over time. Eventually, It decided to change her 3. Mikaela's clairvoyance is the Entity tormenting her before taking her, while yoichi is simply divination. 4. Mikaela never met Sable. Just as there's multiples of other characters across cosmetics, lore, tomes, and even add-ons, the Mikaela we play isn't the one sable knew. She entered the fog looking for her best friend and found a stranger wearing her face. 5. Oni. We've already got our bloodsucker. 7. It can also neutralize powerful plagues like Bill's Green Flu or mutate them like Adiris's plague that goes from exposure to near-leathal hemorrhaging within minutes of trace exposure or seconds of deliberate infection. 8. God I want doctor to electrocute me. 9. The unknown is a conglomerate of contradictory origins and descriptions, it's no more true form than the alien life form is the true origin. 16. God I wish we got old intro cinematics when we loaded occasionally. 20. (-:
The Black Vale is hinted to have influenced almost all killer’s entrance into the fog, and a few survivors. Who’s to say you, an average person, isn’t being watched rn, people waiting for you to mentally snap and start killing others? Or that people are currently orchestrating for you to experience trauma, something horrific, or your downfall to make you a good survivor candidate for the entity? It’s known the Black Vale is the reason why Felix, Elodie, Haddie, and Sable are in the trials, and it’s hinted other survivors before them could have been chosen as well by this cult. The strongest evidence suggest Yui and Adam were also chosen to become survivors as the cult probably orchestrated Yui’s biking accident and gifted her a Hachimaki to build emotion and hope, and Adam’s train accident knowing how selfless he is. It’s also known the Black Vale can do the opposite and push people to the breaking point until they emotionally snap and become killers. Or they force people to face such hardships they become a perfect puppet for the Entity. Such as the case for The Twins, and The Artist. How they choose and determine who becomes a killer and who becomes a survivor is still an unknown process.
Another theory I find creepy is just because killers are in the entity’s realm doesn’t mean they can still come back. Especially because Overlaps exist where the barrier between our world and the entity’s realm is the thinnest. In a tome cutscene it’s revealed that occasionally killers such as trapper can cross into our world using these overlaps, and go on a murder spree unsupervised before returning to the entity’s realm.
1:52 I've always found the survivor's memory loss confusing tbh. I believe we're told that the survivors hv their memories wiped after each trial, but then how do they figure out what to use as offerings for the trials, especially since some of the stuff they use comes from their explorations into the fog.
Regarding Meet Your Maker, i just think its a stretch. Sometimes there's no other reason than developers adding something for funsies and without meaning except for just being there for the funsies.
The multiverse theory makes sense to me for Mikaela and Sable. Remember Mikaela's trailer where she was taken by the entity in 2 ways: When she was sleeping in bed and during her stage storytelling. In Sable's lore, her Mikaela was taken during that stage storytelling while Mikaela's lore was when she was taken by the entity while she was sleeping.
I think the Were-Elk is the huntress, but after she'd found a mask that turned her into it, Majora style. Notice how the belt is fastened around the waist, the rope is threaded through the eye holes of the masks, both of which are previous huntress masks. Isn't it possible that she found a mask while walking in the woods that she thought was prettier than the one she had on and ritualistically added her current mask to the rope to make way for this new mask that ended up changing her irreversibly?
depressing but likely possibility: Sable considers Mikaela an old, close friend, but Mikaela doesn't feel as connected to Sable for one reason or another, and Sable hasn't been informed of this change in the relationship, so they're in a one-sided friendship
I have a few more possibilities: 1) Anna's mom isn't dead, SHE'S the Were-elk!!!! The charm mentioned a "beast-WOMAN" 2) Sable went to the fog willingly, so maybe that was a hindrance for the entity to erase all her memories. Mikaela was taken, so maybe she had many memories but not all wiped. OR Sable is some weird stalker and her "memories" are fabricated as an obsession. So she knows Mikaela...Mikaela doesn't know her... 3) the trials and the whole realm are created because the entity is some kind of child. It's like a child playing with their dolls in a doll house.
9:30 The map also makes more sense when you thibk about the other maps, maps in DBD are made of human flesh, this map is perhaps the "freshest" human flesh ever, still losing blood
I would theorize that sable could just be like nea as in having the soul and look of a real person but clouded by the entity's powers in which shes constantly having to fight against it. Think about her perks for example; all 3 perks having something to do with being in the basement which is like the home of the entity but we can suggest that her perks show resistance from the entity's struggle like getting a free unhook in basement, having faster heals in basement and doing a ritual in the basement to power all the gens.
Ok this might seem a little far fetched but: Using the theory of the multiverse and the fact that the killers are aware of you, I like to think the Entity creates the bios of the characters in order to make you feel emotions so it can feed on you. That explains why there are so many confusing, sad, or disturbing stories of the characters, even for the oldest ones like Bill and Dwight, because you're meant to feel empathy for these characters and you'll want to see them escape, aka hope. On the killer side, there's also sad and disturbing back stories, with some more gearing to hatred and disgust while others have a small bit of empathy. This is why Sable isn't mentioned, as it's meant to cause confusion that the entity can feed on. Ofc it might just be a multiverse thing or just an inconsistency on BHVRs part, but hey, fun to speculate.
"Vampires are coming" Yeah you got that right
I think the severity of bugs that came out of this patch is the most disturbing fact about dbd so far
its an engine change so makes sense

Tbh I feel like Trickster should have been the vampire with how flamboyant he is (+a vampire throwing knives for Jojo fans to fall head over heels for)
When they do finally add in, oh I don't know, Dracula or some other vampire as a killer, you know they will give Trickster a vampire outfit, saying he turned probably willingly.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Thatd make me hate trickster even more than i already do somehow
@@Ro-Ghost personally I felt like his backstory of putting the victims screams in his music was really cheesey
The black palette swap if his default outfit does make him vampirish a bit
I have a disturbing theory about the unknown : he was actually a human, but his body has changed and twisted like that because those tentacles got inside him (the tentacles we see in his mori). he is just an empty shell from the outside, but in the inside the tentacles are what controls his movement (you can notice how weird he moves and how weird he breaks pallets due to the tentacles)
Also , many of his voice lines gives the impression that the human consciousness still somehow exists within him that's why in many of his voice lines he is asking for help .. which is very disturbing if you think about it for a moment..
i think the human who got possessed by the tentacles still have consciousness left in him.. that's why most of his voice lines are asking for help
like a half life 2 zombie
I mean he does look a lot like Dwight with the clothing being similar to him and the spikey hair too
fun fact, the "you.. want some candy?" voiceline is a possible predator (the alien hunters) reference, as it is one of the characters most haunting voice mimicry of the character. (often the "you..." is left out but the distorted "want some candy?" is pretty infamous)
I always thought it was cool that the unknowns design seems very reminiscent to a person running away
And now we have Dracula as Vampire
Were-Elk didn't killed Huntress, it is Huntress. in all her costumes including Baba Yaga, Mordeo is actually Anna turning into these beings. even the Baba Yaga costume mentions how her voice deepens and she changes entirely
Unlike the Minotaur which is stated to be separate beast that emerged from the Fog, these cosmetics clearly hint at being Anna herself, turning into these creatures
I don’t think so, Baba Yaga maybe could be huntress but were elk is a male character and likely killed huntress
It’s like how Cheryl has a a skin as James or how Leon has skins as Chris Redfield etc. it’s more a totally different character than a transformation
@@DanielC0005so is the Were elk cross dressing? because that looks like a skirt they have on (I'm kinda siding that it's huntress transformed after the elk encounter that killer her mother/ Why would a random Were elk take the masks)
@@DanielC0005 No, were elk is female, the deep voice has nothing to do with his genre, is a monster after all
@@DanielC0005 how do we know it's male?
unknowns Mori is it finnaly being able to be itself. It instantly drops the weapon hes forced to use and kills them how he would, by consuming
"Why wasn't sable mentioned in mikeyla's lore" simple, she's a retcon made to sell more copies of her dlc by attaching her to the most popular survivor in the game
Also they might possibly make them queer baiting for a valentines event or sum bcs people are already shipping the 2. Which I'm fine with they need matching outfits 🙏
But I thought feng min was the most popular survivor… isn’t that why she gets the most cosmetics
mikaela is def not even close to most popular. Literally every licensed survivor, dwight, meg, claudette, feng, even sable are more popular than her
@@Gamercatisreal ew no!
@@yourlocalghastyt285 top 10 most popular survs according to NightLight are respectively: Sable, Feng, Nea, Kate, Meg, Mikaela, Claudette, Yui, Dwight, and Zarina. Notice how there are 0 licenced characters on that list and Claudette and Dwight are slightly below Mikaela.
For the Vampire part. Am I the only person who is a little bit mad about the fact, that vittorios new cosmetic "missing" the injurie on his neck?
Come one, behaviour, dont be shy and put some blood, dirt and wounds on vittorio, why looks he always so clean? he is surviving the realm for 600+ years :(
2:53 An interpretation of this I’ve heard is that, while Sable valued Mikaela’s friendship, Mikaela didn’t care nearly as much about Sable.
The unknown offering candy could also be a reference to Predator 2 where he records a kid who saw him offering a lollipop
That is what I was gonna say
I think Michaela not remembering Sable because Michaela we know is not from the same reality, its the same thing when we have multiple of the same survs in the trials, they are from the different time lines, so Michaela lore described in the game could be from the world where they were never friends, or even know eachother.
That vampire theory is mad funny cuz of the Castlevania chapter coming
disturbing fact #21 freddy was once not only strong, but fun to play as well. but then. the rework came.
i think sable isn’t in mikela’s lore because they didn’t think of sable being a character yet, therefore no mention towards her
I agree
Technically your right on the vampires the Castlevania collab brings Dracula
The Were-elk theory is so weird to me cause one of the biggest theories about her is that she's a werewolf.
But now that she finally gets a skin like that, everyone assumes she killed Anna instead because of the mask?
Imagine youre working at crotus prenn and you hear a bunch of crazy people sat in a room hallucinating cheering on the nurse in a comp final
1:52 clairvoyance isn't predicting the future, its having connections to things that happened in the past that you otherwise shouldnt have knowledge of.
Couldn't Anna be the Elk that killed her mom?
The typical "Transformed into a beast and killed a loved one" kind of story.
This guy called the Castlevania collab
Were Elk is definitely more dangerous than huntress because its hard to hear the wind up so you end up either getting clocked in the back of the head or running into a wall then getting snacked anyway
3:40, the vampires sure are coming (Castlevania chapter) 😂
I loved that ending lol.
Also I've been wondering how youre're doing. I remember a video where you talked about sclaing back the content on this channel for your mental health.
I am doing well thanks. I've been scaling back quantity and trying to up quality in return. I've also been focusing on more content I enjoy making! Thanks for the comment ❤
We know why sable isnt mentioned she was a victim of the unknown and the unknowns lore is it erases everyone elses memory of your existence
Few things on thus
One - No The Unknown doesn't, it's own lore and Sables mention disappearances related to it, if it wiped everyone's memory then no one should know someone disappeared. Without the memories Sable would of investigated Entitiy disappearances and wouldn't of mentioned The unknown to Mikaela, and Oliva (Unknown lore), was investigating The Unknown hence why it tried to attack her
Two - Mikaela was taken before Sable, Sable entered the realm without ever encountering The Unknown, she wasn't a victim of it
Btw even if Sable was a victim, Mikaela was in the realm before that, every death returns someone's memory to the point of their entry, and Sable would of been brought before her death to the Unknown which isn't shown in her lore
We know how Sable was taken, we’ve seen it in the All Things Wicked Trailer and her lore - she went to the cinema and found a hidden passage, an overlap, into the Entity’s Realm
4:04 how does it feel to have guessed that a freaking vampire has vome to dbd and it actually did
0:56 I think a more plausible theory, is a lot of maps for example are taken from a persons memory, so what I was thinking is that the elk is just how Huntress sees that elk that killed her mom, in her own twisted mind that is. Underlying fears and all.
Were-Elk definitely seems like a separate male character, deep voice and antlers being an exclusively male elk feature point to it.
I think behavior should do a plot line where the survivors start escaping and the story of the game begins to become entity vs multiverse
I think the tendril from the unknown is like it's mouth or tongue, because during the mori the unknown absorbs the survivor after stabbing them with the tendrils
Plot twist:
What if sable was made by the entity to catch the Unknown
Is that why Sables are always chasing after killers?!
Disagree, she never actually interacted with or had a connection to The Unknown other than that she lived in a town it was stalking
"Why doesn't Mikaela mention Sable?"
Maybe because she came out years after Mikaela and changing her whole description would be too much work?
The blights serum mutated the killers but killed the survivors possibly because the entity tampered with it to keep blight from having his own army of mutants
Well, you've instantly made Sable feel much more creepy.
3:13 i personaly dont believe this you also see her getting taken by the fog and its not because mkeila never talked about her that she doesnt exist also back then the creators dint had cable in mind i find it a bad theory to be honest
3 months late and vlad Dracula tepes arrives to the entity’s realm
Anna being the Were-Elk also makes for another disturbing possibility. The Were Elk's mori looks like how the elk killed Anna's mother. What if Anna killed her mother as the were elk, then disassociated the occurrence as happening outside herself. Envisioning herself outside her body as a little girl even as she slew her mother as the enraged were beast.
A few of these are some big stretches. Like Sable or Doctor swinging at hallucinations. Those probably aren't it.
That in my eyes lends a bit more legitimacy to it being the Huntress, as she has killed both German and Russian Imperial forces, the Russians would be using almost exclusively the Mosin Nagant at that point in time.
geez...ngl, i always thought the Coldwind silo was like a crashed zeppelin or blimp....i never really thought about why it would be there, but i guess now it makes sense, haha
been wondering that since 2018, lol
My theory is the dredge helped restrain the stronger killers for blight to experiment on
9:53 I gotta say, I never knew this, and with that said I'd love to share a little story.
The unknown offering candy is a reference to Predator 2 :)
If you read the huntresses lore it talks about that beast and it says it killed hee mother so maybe that’s her mothers mask?
4:03 Wonder what the odds are that it's Dracula. Especially given that Vlad Teppes III had a thing for stakes in real life.
That or Dimitrescu, given how the devs go for fanservice focused around women.
the sable one is because she was planned ahead of time. most likely
4:09 he called it
It would be cool of the Huntress changed into the creature.
Wow he actually guessed the vampire thing!
I like the idea of the were elk being anna. It explains why its humming her lulaby, has her clean masks, weopon and explains her crazy strength.
Just popping in to say I was the Laurie on Mt Ormond against your Doctor. Couldn't say GG before, but will say it here :)
Were u the one with the Store Cosmetic ? If yes then omg I love it
I like to interpret The Unknown’s “ dungeons long forgotten “ line as The Unknown having existed and murdered people for ages, sort of like how The Entity has existed for thousands of years and has been taking people from varying time periods.
3:58
I believe that's supposed to be Vlad the Impaler.
0:43, That is is a male elk, Only male elks have antlers, He also sounds like a guy.
Looks like you could make a really good story game out of DBD and I would love to see such a game. Very interessting video once again!!
I mean only crazy people would enter the fog.
it would be much more creepy if Sable was an obsessive stalker of Mikaela, to the point of following her into the fog
Your vampire theory aged well
6:10 that sneaky survivor right in front of you 😅
There's a simple answer I can think of for Sable not being in Mikela's lore - Sable only exists in certain multi-verse universes but not the one that original survivor Mikela came from.
Considering DBD has an entire multi-verse, in one universe Sable and Mikela could have met while in another, Sable simply never existed due to the history preventing her existance.
10:47 how did u get that skin??
It tells you on screen Holiday Horror if you look up DbD Holiday Horror you'll see its their Christmas event
For the whole "Mikaela not knowing Sable" thing, we know it's possible for the entity to take killers and survivors from different universes. It's possible Mikaela comes from a universe where she never met sable, or sable doesn't exist, and sable comes from one where she and Mikaela were best friends.
I think the reason Sable isn’t mentioned in Mikaela’s lore (aside from not being a planned character yet) is because their friendship is extremely one-sided
Mikaela is Sable’s only friend, but Mikaela has far more friends than just Sable
10:18 I was so annoyed when I found out about this because when it happened for me I thought my game bugged, resulting in my mashing every button, skipping it
Sub theories/explainations
1. Wereelk is Anna being mutated by the Entity a la Carmina. The original lore huntress had no supernatural touches (bar Entity) but more and more unrealistic things were added over time. Eventually, It decided to change her
“DBD can seem tame when it comes to its horror elements”
1:52 I've always found the survivor's memory loss confusing tbh.
I believe we're told that the survivors hv their memories wiped after each trial, but then how do they figure out what to use as offerings for the trials, especially since some of the stuff they use comes from their explorations into the fog.
Regarding Meet Your Maker, i just think its a stretch. Sometimes there's no other reason than developers adding something for funsies and without meaning except for just being there for the funsies.
The multiverse theory makes sense to me for Mikaela and Sable. Remember Mikaela's trailer where she was taken by the entity in 2 ways:
When she was sleeping in bed and during her stage storytelling.
I have a few more possibilities:
1) Anna's mom isn't dead, SHE'S the Were-elk!!!! The charm mentioned a "beast-WOMAN"
2) Sable went to the fog willingly, so maybe that was a hindrance for the entity to erase all her memories.
Ok this might seem a little far fetched but:
Using the theory of the multiverse and the fact that the killers are aware of you, I like to think the Entity creates the bios of the characters in order to make you feel emotions so it can feed on you.
