Another disturbing fact: Any one of us could become a killer in The Entity’s realm. The existence of Nicolas Cage shows that anyone in our universe could very well be a participant in the trials! And it doesn’t matter if you’re not a killer or a bad person in life; if The Entity wants you to become a killer, then you’ll become a killer no matter what! Just ask The Artist.

My theory the ferryman in dead by daylight is not using his full power on purpose to avoid getting the mark of negation so when the entity is defeated, charon takes the entities place
Honestly I really doubt that, The Entity has infinite knowledge and knows every killer and survivor’s memories and thoughts, plus The Entity is much more powerful than a character like Charon, that’s comparing a character to the author writing their existence. Honestly the only character in the cast outside of The Mad Designer (even then I doubt it) who has any chance of being on the same level of power as The Entity is Alan Wake, as he is also another “author” of reality who, so long as he writes the story meticulously and with things that already exist, could threaten the entity, though I doubt he’s very interested in that. Plus, if Alan’s escape into The Trials from The Dark Place is canon to Alan Wake, it means he canonically wrote his way out of the realm and back into The Dark Place. This is suggested by Saga Anderson’s descriptions for her cosmetic, as she was only called to investigate the murders in Bright Falls due to Wake escaping The Dark Place
Charon's title as Ferryman of Souls carries a much more important role than it seems. He is the one who knows each and every soul and decides if they can move on to Hades' territory or not. Apply it to the Entity's realm were souls are physical matters, and you'll know why Charon's concept was trapped within the body of Talbot, who isn't concerned about the beings that are souls but rather what he can extract from them, thus reducing Charon's influence within the Realm and allowing the Entity to more easily capture souls for it's feeding.
With the realm being thought based, I wonder if that’s what perks are: manifested thoughts that allow you to run faster or struggle harder or see things you shouldn’t.

In a way, I believe Vecna is the first and only character (that we know of) to escape the realm of the entity. For reference, Vecna is an wildly old undead wizard with intense amounts of knowledge (even being known as the god of secrets) and on several occasions has attempted to seize the entire multiverse, and has escaped similar demi plains in the past by simply biding his time and theorizing until he can escape. Vecna’s lobby animation was changed from him being summoned by the entity to him bursting out of a portal about a month after release, suggesting to me at least that he found a way out shortly after being taken into the fog, and now only returns willingly.

Oh, and Evan McMillan (The Trapper) actually is the only killer to actively resist the Entity's control. The reason why he's got all those hooks on them is due to the torture that The Entity inflicted on him to force him back on her side (Yes, The Entity is a female.)

While the entity applies nerfs to the killers, it is important to note that certain characters listed like Vecna and Dracula wanted these things to occur and actually just fully accepted the seals being placed. I liked the last idea. Makes it seem that whatever someone imagines already exists elsewhere in time and space. It's not the first time I've heard of this idea, but the fact that somewhere out there The Entity exists is quite a fun, fictional fear to have.
Player pianos are perfectly normal and fun clockwork contraptions. Wonder if the pullies on this one are made of tendons. 14:33 personal headcanon: Vecna already escaped. Because this would be something like the third time this exact scenario happened. First time was when his vampire general tried to backstab him and they both ended up in the Domains of Dread and he made the Dark Powers make him a god. Then he went and pissed off the Lady of Pain by being a God while in Sigil. The Vecna you are fleeing from is a recreation so realistic that the Entity can't figure out that it _isn't_ the God of Secrets (funny enough this reminds me of that DnD module that had a demilich that was Vecna's apprentice as the end boss given the entire thing is made of fake outs, traps, and perception checks). The real one is probably back on the Isle of Dread looking for the next thing to -steal- "collect". There's also how the Entity would have contend with Leviathan to get Pinhead so that one might also be simply a recreation made from a piece taken from the original. Sort of like Pyramidhead pretty much being the Entity copying the Silent Hill entity's paperwork. Alternatively the Entity did a trade for Pinhead.
#41 and #42 are references to the original Silent Hill game, #42 specifically where one time in this locker there's a cat and the other time there's nothing at all.
They devs just saying “yea the entity knows we exist and this game does too…. Don’t worry bout it” is hilarious yet disturbing to know how large this thing actually is
Now I want to see those two prototype Skull Merchant weapons, and when you have either one equipped while playing on Shelter woods, it’ll be absent from the map.
When talking about killers previously being survivors, you forgot to mention Talbot Grimes (The Blight) was explicitly stated as a survivor who hid in the fog before being sent to the void, getting hooked on Pestula Syrum and becoming everyone's favourite crack demon
#2 - the stone statues might actually be the entity reminding kazan of the victims slain by him, and all the things he did, which caused him to end up here #5 - krampus kidnaps bad children, so maybe these eyes belong to a misbehaving child that was abducted? #14 - the killers also physically interact with each other, as seen in the various cosmetics released alongside the 2v8 gamemode, and it's basically confirmed in #34 #18 - the face seen on charon might also be one of the dead humans/souls he was supposed to transport to the afterlife #47 - this doesn't really prove that the realm is *very* old - the entity can travel through time, so it's impossible to measure how old the realm actually is; also, the minotaur himself probably was (maybe still is) part of the trials, with kazan's minotaur skin being the closest thing we have to an actual minotaur killer #51 - i thought that the survivors killed using a mori are basically scooped by the entity when the trial ends, and then revived and that the totems were just made by the entity when lisa sherwood and mikaela reid entered the realm to support hexes and boons, to make the trials more interesting #57 - that doesn't have to apply to the entity's realm, dracula might've been feasting on mortals in his own world as well, before ending up in the realm #63 - basically alien pterodactyls lol #69 - this basically confirms that the mindwipe doesn't exist (why would the entity erase the memories anyway, it could use them to its advantage instead), also, the observer claimed that he saw several survivors going mad, and he only THINKS that all survivors are slowly but surely going insane, it's not quite confirmed that ALL survivors will go insane, but some of them can and will just break down and either become completely insane and probably get killed by other survivors or completely apathetic and get voided by the entity #70 - vecna definitely would do some damage if he could, he managed to fend off the entity when it first tried to claim him, he only ended up in the realm when he stopped resisting and let the fog take him, but in his infinite pride, he underestimated the entity and he's now branded with a seal that keeps him trapped in the realm #71 - this one is rather odd - 1. the flavor text in blitz' cosmetics mentions that blitz was mentally and physically (especially in confined areas) strong, and that he was fearless, he was most likely a perfect candidate for a survivor - helping the others generated hope in blitz and the other survivors, which the entity could eventually use for sustenance; 2. the flavor text in wamai's cosmetics claim that he was talented and unpredictable, he could also calm people down, again, something that would come in handy in the entity's realm; 3. according to the shark's flavour text, tubarão was taken while sailing his family boat, possibly hinting that the rainbow six siege's realm might've been on an island of sorts, the flavor text also says that he was committed to civilian safety, clearly the entity was interested in the rainbow six operators due to their altruism and courage, which would result in a lot of emotions, his jacket's description says that he shared his skills with others, probably teaching people within the realm as well but why did they get voided? surely it's not because of being broken, they're supposed to be mentally strong, especially blitz; the rainbow six operators might've attempted to take the other survivors to safety, or they could've tried organizing a safe zone for them, or maybe they even managed to escape the trial grounds during a trial; the operators had to do something to anger the entity, so the entire realm was voided, at least 2 operators were voided, and maybe some of them were killed, only tubarão was spared for some reason additionally, the existance of the rainbow six siege realm, and the rainbow six siege survivors also implies the existance of a rainbow six siege killer (whoever it was probably also got voided though) #72 - the 2 titans managed to keep their form somehow, and continued attacking other people, but afaik not a single human character managed to survive the horrors of the entity's realm, meaning that every single aot survivor outfit belongs to a voided survivor, maybe they also tried escaping the trial grounds and got punished for it #98 - i'm willing to bet that it's basically a shapeshifting alien that adapts to people's perception about it - some think of it as a crawling cryptid, others see it as a body snatcher
Elodie also drew the circular symbol on her arm at the end of her lore, which takes her to the realm, implying that it’s some sort of summoning symbol that calls on The Entity to take someone, like The Jade Ring in Twin Peaks. Also, The Twin’s weapon makes the same circular shape, and since they were experimented on by The Black Vale, I wonder if they influenced Charlotte to forge her weapon in that shape so The Entity would take them. The Entity does seem to like The Mad Designer, there’s a charm of it eating a cake with her, she is also desperate to impress it and, as The Observer explains, she has become so insane that she can’t focus on ideas properly and as a result everything she makes is fragile and easily destroyed. If she did begin to want to destroy The Entity, she’d need to become incredibly focused and do it without The Entity knowing, but theoretically could collapse the entire realm
Hey, great vid! I love the lore of Dead By Daylight! 🥰 I just wanted to do a correction about Jill slow aging fact: So when Carlos cured Jill, she became imune to the effects of T-Virus, so when she is captured by Wesker on Resident Evil 5, she is experimented on for years, on the aftermath of this, her hair and skin loses color, and then she begins to age more slower than others solely because of Wesker's torment.
Quite sad that you didnt mention that skull merchant has child labor in her lore (She got some kids work for her) and Her trying to build a base on a private island
Well to complement the last fact you made it seems that the entity has already done something with that possibility as Nickolas Cage is in the trials hinting that the entity pulled it the actual Nickolas Cage or a different version of him as a sort of test to see if it could do that in the first place
Honestly in my mind i think that vecna could probably leave if he wanted to but it's quite literally free XP & info for him so he'd never truely want to
My theory butterballs eye peice, and the female cenobites throat wires are brought to the entities realm so pin head and chatterer can conect to them, when they send a survivor to the labyrinth, the others take care of them
If I had a nickel for every killer that was related to a group of cannibals that specifically prided themselves in their human-flesh chili, I'd have two nickels somehow.
#6 makes me want a "killer," probably called "The Dreamer", who's whole ability set and design is based on the Killer's nightmares, these nightmares having more control over the body than the person themself, aka, the person is a killer completely against their own will.
Im surprised he didn't mention the giant flower/flytrap plant on the singularitys map that opens whenever a killer or survivor is underneath it and shuts if no one is around
Nah, I had a nightmare about a this zoologist killer that had control of spiders in dbd and what it was put web that are filled with spider eggs on walls and whenever a survivor would run near it, it will set an alarm of sorts and slow the survivor down. And this killer had lines, almost like imitating or mimicking what the survivor sounds like. And the mori was similar to the Blight, but spiders bursted out of the chest instead and the killer would extend their arm and the hatchlings would crawl from under their clothes to their hand. Never knew about the spider lore….before any of this
Tho thing is. Now that the casting of frank stone is out. We do know that the realms aren't constructed from the minds of killers. The entity takes everything along with the killer
This is a big video compiling lots of disturbing DbD facts. old and new! Most are new ones but I some are re-used. I hope you enjoy :)

11:57 I remember buying the sadako dlc shortly before the ptb, so I saw the 7 day easter egg, then a few days later when the ptb became public, it played again
Theory The blight created the chimeric horde legion by individualy injecting them that having them consumed by dredge to fuse them
I liked the last idea.
“Hey everyone YOUR BEING WACHED” is quite the opening
I love how all the skins are like alternate-universe versions of the killers also I want so want the final killer being The Entity itself
So many i didn't know. I can't believe how deep this lore goes. it's INSANE. I'm excited more than ever now for Frank Stone.
The people on dead dog aren’t dead btw, at least not all of them. A few you can here faintly breathing when you’re near them
I always love to see your videos this one is most entertaining though ps: you forgot me ask Billy Loom- i mean Ghostface.
For #69, that was before the entity erased memories, so for survivors, every trial is their first, though they still are changed over time.
I didn't even know most of these, especially the first one. Definatly gonna check it out!
When talking about killers previously being survivors, you forgot to mention Talbot Grimes (The Blight) was explicitly stated as a survivor who hid in the fog before being sent to the void, getting hooked on Pestula Syrum and becoming everyone's favourite crack demon
#2 - the stone statues might actually be the entity reminding kazan of the victims slain by him, and all the things he did, which caused him to end up here
#5 - krampus kidnaps bad children, so maybe these eyes belong to a misbehaving child that was abducted?
#14 - the killers also physically interact with each other, as seen in the various cosmetics released alongside the 2v8 gamemode, and it's basically confirmed in #34
#18 - the face seen on charon might also be one of the dead humans/souls he was supposed to transport to the afterlife
#47 - this doesn't really prove that the realm is *very* old - the entity can travel through time, so it's impossible to measure how old the realm actually is; also, the minotaur himself probably was (maybe still is) part of the trials, with kazan's minotaur skin being the closest thing we have to an actual minotaur killer
#51 - i thought that the survivors killed using a mori are basically scooped by the entity when the trial ends, and then revived and that the totems were just made by the entity when lisa sherwood and mikaela reid entered the realm to support hexes and boons, to make the trials more interesting
#57 - that doesn't have to apply to the entity's realm, dracula might've been feasting on mortals in his own world as well, before ending up in the realm
#63 - basically alien pterodactyls lol
#69 - this basically confirms that the mindwipe doesn't exist (why would the entity erase the memories anyway, it could use them to its advantage instead), also, the observer claimed that he saw several survivors going mad, and he only THINKS that all survivors are slowly but surely going insane, it's not quite confirmed that ALL survivors will go insane, but some of them can and will just break down and either become completely insane and probably get killed by other survivors or completely apathetic and get voided by the entity
#70 - vecna definitely would do some damage if he could, he managed to fend off the entity when it first tried to claim him, he only ended up in the realm when he stopped resisting and let the fog take him, but in his infinite pride, he underestimated the entity and he's now branded with a seal that keeps him trapped in the realm
#71 - this one is rather odd - 1. the flavor text in blitz' cosmetics mentions that blitz was mentally and physically (especially in confined areas) strong, and that he was fearless, he was most likely a perfect candidate for a survivor - helping the others generated hope in blitz and the other survivors, which the entity could eventually use for sustenance; 2. the flavor text in wamai's cosmetics claim that he was talented and unpredictable, he could also calm people down, again, something that would come in handy in the entity's realm; 3. according to the shark's flavour text, tubarão was taken while sailing his family boat, possibly hinting that the rainbow six siege's realm might've been on an island of sorts, the flavor text also says that he was committed to civilian safety, clearly the entity was interested in the rainbow six operators due to their altruism and courage, which would result in a lot of emotions, his jacket's description says that he shared his skills with others, probably teaching people within the realm as well
but why did they get voided? surely it's not because of being broken, they're supposed to be mentally strong, especially blitz; the rainbow six operators might've attempted to take the other survivors to safety, or they could've tried organizing a safe zone for them, or maybe they even managed to escape the trial grounds during a trial; the operators had to do something to anger the entity, so the entire realm was voided, at least 2 operators were voided, and maybe some of them were killed, only tubarão was spared for some reason
additionally, the existance of the rainbow six siege realm, and the rainbow six siege survivors also implies the existance of a rainbow six siege killer (whoever it was probably also got voided though)
#72 - the 2 titans managed to keep their form somehow, and continued attacking other people, but afaik not a single human character managed to survive the horrors of the entity's realm, meaning that every single aot survivor outfit belongs to a voided survivor, maybe they also tried escaping the trial grounds and got punished for it
#98 - i'm willing to bet that it's basically a shapeshifting alien that adapts to people's perception about it - some think of it as a crawling cryptid, others see it as a body snatcher
I just wanted to do a correction about Jill slow aging fact: So when Carlos cured Jill, she became imune to the effects of T-Virus, so when she is captured by Wesker on Resident Evil 5, she is experimented on for years, on the aftermath of this, her hair and skin loses color, and then she begins to age more slower than others solely because of Wesker's torment.
Quite sad that you didnt mention that skull merchant has child labor in her lore (She got some kids work for her) and Her trying to build a base on a private island
"Hey everyone, you're being watched"
Please Azhymovs don't turn me into another way of making dbd lore videos...
Great video! I had so much fun watching
I left youtube on and accidenlty fell asleep and woke up to "Hello everyone, your being watched", and almost crapped myself.
TH-camr: Your being watched...
Me: *That's why it's called a Horror game named Dead by daylight*
good one!
"youre being watched"
GET OUT OF MY SKINNNN
6:46 is that bill cipher on the drawing
Id like to imagine Myers going to the saloon to have a drink every so often
Well to complement the last fact you made it seems that the entity has already done something with that possibility as Nickolas Cage is in the trials hinting that the entity pulled it the actual Nickolas Cage or a different version of him as a sort of test to see if it could do that in the first place
For the bill one(i dont think it was necessarily a witch) but his prior experience with them was when it started he heard his neighbour turn into one
Honestly in my mind i think that vecna could probably leave if he wanted to but it's quite literally free XP & info for him so he'd never truely want to
13:21 Did you know the 'Female Cenobite' is actually named 'Deepthroat' in the novels? It was changed in the filmed adaptation for obvious reasons.
My theory butterballs eye peice, and the female cenobites throat wires are brought to the entities realm so pin head and chatterer can conect to them, when they send a survivor to the labyrinth, the others take care of them
“Hey everyone. You’re being watched.” Best start of the video ever
I think the eyes in Krampus' bag are supposed to be the eyes of the children he takes...which is somehow creepier than it just being the Entity.
I need a survivor from our universe that is someone playing DBD then the entity takes them as they're playing the game
Never knew about the spider lore….before any of this
8:41 that’s from original silent hill, there’s a cat in there, probs fine seen as the entity is nice to other creatures usually
At 8:48 I just thought the bloody handprint was a movie reference
I never knew this game’s lore was so deep
7:28 Imagine chasing a survivor then some tall dude with a mask on starts stabbing you.
7:32 nah man, Myers just called All-In and lost to Hag
Tho thing is. Now that the casting of frank stone is out. We do know that the realms aren't constructed from the minds of killers. The entity takes everything along with the killer
