I still check your tactics for more than one up front! Not seen, or found anything, that comes close to your 4-2-1-3 that you created a while back. Still going strong ;)
Its good to see that even someone of your tactical calibre had to work hard to get this working. I do like the Greek lad you signed. Your podcast partner Tony had him at the end of his career on his Larissa save after he had been a thorn in his side for Panathaniakos.
It's best to be shown in 2d display as a form of playstyle since yakin relies on overloads with abeischer as the 5th player on the middle spaces with the lone striker holding up the play
Tried out this tactic out with my stacked PSG side and it left us very prone to counter attacking teams but noticed that its very effective with the National teams as my Brazil squad is absolutely cooking with this tactic.
Hey RDF! I really enjoy your videos so much, and am always looking forward to the next one. I was wondering if you could look into making one for Nestor Lorenzo's Colombia. The most in form NT in the world with 26 unbeaten, and playing some beautiful football with a 4312 Akin to Ancelotti's at Madrid, and reviving James's career (3 weeks in a row being the man of the tournament for Copa). Would mean a lot, I'll look forward to it!
Hi rdf, with the players united are heavily linked with I really think ten hag trying to implement his tactics from his 21/22 Ajax season. Could we please get a 21/22 Ajax tactic recreation 🙏🏾
RDF, this a fantastic tactic, and I live your addition of recommended signings. It may be worth considering revisiting your Francesco Farioli tactic now he's been confirmed as Ajax's new manager, or perhaps doing Ten Hag's 18/19 system.
You have a point. I believe Stinger FM (Neil Davidson) made a video before on this exact topic. He did some in-depth analysis on it and I believe he found mark player rather than position was more effective with tracking
@@RDFTactics yeah, I've found the same. On the tactic screen I have the position marked but when in match I change it to position. Just have to be careful when the opposition changes formation as it then messes it up completely
Just mentioned to someone in the comments - I've tried and still am trying but difficult to get good results haha doesn't have to be great results but want it to be somewhat consistent throughout the season and not do well for a few games then start conceding silly goals
I'm on it! Admittedly, I've tried and found it difficult to recreate + get good results but like this video, defo will get there in the end. Not looking for perfect results as it's with Brighton but I tend to do well for a few games then a drop off. I tweak and repeat lol
You noticed! Haha yeah I’m back to this skin and it was something small that made me change. On the tactic creator screen, the little analysis button on the top right of your tactic - I feel that screen was more friendly and the analysis screen was important to this tactic. Might make a video on it to be fair
In 2010, Santos FC from Brazil had an extremely attacking tactic, scoring 3 or more goals in many of their matches. Do you find it interesting to try to recreate this tactic that marked Brazilian football at the beginning of the decade?
Hi could you try re create brighton new manager fabian hurzeler tactics in fm, he has really interesting movements despite the initial set up looking like a 3 4 3 but it is in no way a 3 4 3 when in possession his St Pauli tactics are really interesting. Plus he's the youngest premier league manager at just 31
🤣 It was fun but stressful. I tried so many times - did they signed Thuram IRL so I had to add him in and remove Rabiot who was good for me initially lol
this is not a tactic that is totally faithful to motta’s tactics, I’m sure you are aware yourself… however i appreciate that it was hard to make it work but there are many indicators that highlight the difference between this and motta’s bologna team
It’s not supposed to stay true - the point is to also sort of predict. I have already made a Thiago Motta tactic when he’s at Bologna - this isn’t replicating that but taking some key principles. That’s mentioned in the video and has been the point in my recent videos. Managers at new clubs won’t have a tactic yet. And Motta wont use the exact same tactic used at Bologna - Motta would’ve been more restricted at Bologna giving players natural ability. Etc etc. Same goes for Hansi Flick at Barca. Enzo at Chelsea. The new Brighton manager. They will all make adjustments to their tactics to suit their new team

How did u make the players in the 2d match view small
When actually in game I've found the wingers track back better when you actually mark the player rather than position

A structured defensive tactic would be brilliant for my journeyman saves
I’ve been struggling with half back this year as well. Dunno why but I concede against teams I should be beating all the time
Due to the fact that halfbacks causes the center backs to stay wider from each other
thank you
No problemo!

Why is it always 1 up top . Should be 2 up top. Defenders can’t defend that in today game
I love a 2 up top . Or a 3 but out and out strikers
should've kept allegri instead of hiring this rookie manage 😕
