16:35 - Fernandes retrained as a striker is actually insane. He's pretty easy to retrain to an attacking/pressing forward and does amazing with it. It's interesting if that's what happened here!

I'm currently playing a new United save with a three-man backline, a formation I typically never use. However, after bringing in Amorim, I got curious and decided to experiment with some potential line-ups. So far, I've won the Premier League with five games to spare, secured the League Cup, lost in the FA Cup semi-final, and now I'm set to play Real Madrid in the Champions League final (after beating Barcelona 8-7 on aggregate and Manchester City 4-3 in the semi-finals). I’ve only lost six games all season, drawn four, and won the rest. Safe to say, I'm excited to see what United could look like under Amorim. And I'll be playing 3 at the back more often in the future!

About that tactic. I think Amorim can turn Zirkzee into a Pedro Gonçalves. Maybe like an AM behind the striker.

The position that I have more doubts about is where Francisco Trincão plays. He is neither a winger nor an AM.
I think he must adapt because Man Utd doesn’t have a similar player.
i think man utd should've try to get a coach from another top 5 leagues that's coaching mid tier club where they're overachieving and wasn't supposed to be on the mid table like gasperini or frank schmidt from heidenheim, or getting rb leipzig's marco rose, counter attacking coach will be big for man utd bcs they're a team with low chemistry, and counter attack character will be a good base to build on after years and years of disappointment and lack of identity

You're right about the first season if we can get a europian ticket it's a good season I think. I feel sorry for ETH that he had to go up against unmotivated, overpaid, lazy players he desevered more from the team. Let's support Amorim and give him all the support
No, ETH had amazing players and was a dogshit manager, simple as that. Don’t blame the players for his failings.
I dont think that 5th is out of the question for united this season. 6 points off at the minute but its not unachievable
they moved so fast because omar berrada (ex-city CEO) knew that sooner or later guardiola was going out and amorim would replace him at city,
since he (omar berrada) joined united from city, he snatched amorim unfortunately because amorim was the perfect candidate and he didnt want to miss the oportunity

Good point. I assume somebody won the FA Cup that bumped them up to Europa or something - sometimes that league table doesn’t update with the competitions

I don’t think it matters who takes the Man U job. Players are just not good enough
have been saying this, regardless of the manager, they still only have at absolute best, the 9th best squad in the league. Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Villa, Spurs, Brighton and Newcastle all markedly better, then there's an argument for Forest and Bournemouth as well. Even with Amorim, I don't see him out classing Pep, Slot, Arteta, Maresca, Emery, Howe, Hurzelur or even Ange tactically. I also think Ireola and Nuno are great tacticians.
I guess FM is too realistic.

We will miss Erik and Jeannette at First Reformed, where I'm in charge of the offertory and the tea after services. Jeannette was so humble, always first to step in and help put out chairs. Their boys - Mark, Mason, Matthew and Modine - were a little mischievous but always had time for a kickabout with the younger kids. They are Good Family People and never had a bad word to say about anybody ever. It's a real shame what they did to that family.
