There's a simplicity to your videos that I like. Good inspiration ahead of hopefully my first lesson this weekend out of EGBJ. Cardiff will definitely be in my go-to list of possible NAVs since it's currently my homebase.
Thank you I really appreciate your comments. Ah yes EGBJ, a great place to learn! It gets very busy, but you're in good hands at Gloucester. Please feel free to message me directly via the Facebook page: facebook.com/CJThePilot Always happy to assist other local pilots 👍
Enjoyed this one Chris I’ve ended up moving from EGBJ and now studying out of EGSY ( St Athan) so the Cardiff radar controllers really are a pleasure and have a lot of experience with students. I hope you pop over again soon. May be get to share the blue skies with you soon
I know a chap who is based out of St.Athan after gaining his PPL in Bristol. I keep meaning to fly there, so yes it's a possibility! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
@@CJThePilot no worries I can hop down there or we can meet up somewhere midway. I am sailing my ship into Falmouth this week and going on leave so fancy being a air taxi? 🤣. Stay in Touch we can hear something up once lockdown is finished.
Cheers Josh, yeah threw a spanner in there slightly! I wasn't happy with my altitude keeping. Got thrown around a little over Cardiff and during the orbits at Bristol, but overall it went well for the first landaway!
@@CJThePilot at that stage of training that’s completely fine. You flew safe and shown good airmanship. Even after passing my altitude keeping needs a brush up.
Love this video CJ! Keep them coming! :-) I'm looking to work towards my PPL training from Cardiff when they open back up so this video is very useful and gives a good insight to flying around the area. Thank you :-)
Thank you Steven! I'm glad if you find this video useful. It's a great area to learn to fly, especially when you start doing Radio Nav as BCN is close by. Good luck when you start!
Amazing mate, I've only just realised. Must have been just before I got to know you all that you were doing the ATC. You know once things return to normal you have to come up for a flight?
Great landing & support for those learning

Great video Chris
Thank you! I've been watching your videos recently. Would love to fly with you one day 👍
@@CJThePilot thanks let’s fly and collaborate on a video.... where you based?

Awesome job Chris. Last minute change to where you were expecting to join and handled it perfectly

I guess it's good to demand high standards in yourself 👍

Nice Video. Good job!
Thank you Peter! Means a lot 👍
Nice job
Thanks Gary, hope you enjoy 👍
Reminds me of the ATC days. Only 3 flight off my solo badge
Did you used to be a cadet Rob?
@@CJThePilot yes mate for a while too

Amazing video Chris! I enjoyed it a lot :)
Thanks Charlie! I just uploaded a new video on the Socata TB10. A very different style of video, so feel free to take a look. Take care 👍
Great video! Quick question, why are the callsigns of other aircraft omitted from the ATC audio?
Cheers Jack, good spot and the reason is it provides a level of anonymity to those aircraft
@@CJThePilot Fair enough, good luck with the rest of your PPL!
Thanks Jack! I'm guessing you have your PPL? Do you fly in the UK?
Can everyone pray that my aunty suberna finds a life partner
