Decimal base = 10
Binary base = 2
I got 00010 and 01010
Since 16 is exceeds 10
10-16=-6+8+1
-6-8=-14-1=-15
Since I got negative a lot 00010
But also according to your theory 01010
Since I got 8 and 1
Because if negative the numbers are less than 0 but we start from 1 so can you solve this I saw this in a book called mathematics formulae by sumita bose page no. 17 under the section

@Ophious_ You were probably in an AP Computer Science/AP Computer Science Principles class like I am so you would be taking the course at a college level. I'm in the United States, we can't take AP classes in middle school, but maybe it is different in India and that would explain why you were on college level even though you were a 7th grader. Or maybe you had Honors AP CS/CSP, sometimes Honors courses have AP material so that's also a possibility. But you had to have been in some kind of advanced class right?

Great video! For the example of converting 142 at the end I was wondering that smaller than 2 is 1 ;2-1 =1 but, I realized we can use highest numbers under or equal, so that's why 2-2 =0 not 2-1 =1

I've been sitting all day struggling with this. No matter how many times the professor explained it to me I didn't get it. I gave up and thought I was stupid. Maybe I was not meant to have a degree. I looked up jobs at the nearest cornerstone ready to accept my fate as a degreeless person working at the local cornerstone until the day I die. But then I watched this video and I realized that my professor who has like 60 years of education is the stupid one for not explaining this to me or anyone in my class as simply and correctly as in this video.
