- Just thought i would release this video as im still hearing a lot of people struggle with Bahamut when trying to clear bonds of friendship themselves. He can be a big roadblock when you dont know what he does and hes flying all over the screen doing crazy abilities.
So here i break down his moves and how he works to make it a bit easier, like i said in the video if you are fed up and just want me to do it for you the patreon/discord is down below and il get it done for you.

Hi! Hope to add some thoughts too:
1. Nova bomb, Vulcan assault, and thruster spin are all counterfire-able. Helps build ATB for you and Zach.
2. I sometimes get caught by the crush grip because I'm not in a good position to roll away. The better dodge angle is to roll towards and behind him.
It seems that rolling into and behind the crush grip arm is a consistent direction to dodge it.
3. If you're having difficulty managing your ATB gain (e.g., you're unsure about building back 2 bars), just use Aerora during the pressured state (i.e., two bars, Aerora, build two bars again, Aerora).
Sometimes Bahamut would go: Particle charge, get pressured, do ONE bloody move, then Particle charge immediately. But being able to Aeroga him once during the pressured state can quite significantly shorten your fight. ❤

Here's a fun thing I found out about this fight recently; the best way to avoid Twin Lasers is just to walk right up to him because he can't actually shoot straight down at his feet.

That's kinda cool, but I never let him get to that phase anymore lol. Best thing to do is kill him before he gets there but that is good to know thanks dude 😀
You can dodge under his legs and get behind him. He doesn't seem to figure out how to turn around if you do it like this.

Yeah so basically the more he absorbs the faster he levels up. You need to touch one with your character then use a synergy skill and any that are near you when you pressure bahamut will be deleted.
@@Solestro Does he get pressured as soon as you do a Synergy Skill? Like as soon as you press R1+Square? What if the move doesn't hit him?
So is there only 3 forms of Bahamut Arizen!? 1. Base Bahamut 2. Neo Bahamut & 3. GIGA Bahamut !? Or is there one more that I’m not recognizing?
Pretty much yeah, base bahamut while he's absorbing, neo once he's absorbed enough, and then giga when he's absorbed enough then you are kinda screwed cause he will keep trying to Gigaflare you.
I think this is what's getting me so much with the Bahamut fight, the particle thing is really confusing. So you can collect one of his particles, do like a synergy attack but with square and it'll pressure him instantly? Lol I wish you could lab bosses like characters in Tekken 8 or something.
Yup it doesn't take the particle off the field till you do the R1 attack. But you want to run up touch it to get the debuff then use R1 on Zack.

@@jayurenos not really compared to how many hours people put into the game the time it takes me to do the challenges is like 0.01% of that so they've done all the work really. Plus you would never know either way if someone saw your plat as well
Ngl I have no idea how to stop him from getting to Gigamode. I think in the legendary bouts I had one SUCCESSFUL chance for him to enter none gigamode. For whatever reason the game just lets him enter Neodrive Mode cause fuck you basically. You honestly have to wait a second or two during the 2nd or 3rd particle charge because he'll just immediately exit it.
I get that its part of the whole particle thing but honestly that is inherently unbalanced in 2 person or 1 person attempts. Micromanaging his gimmick instead of just attacking him to stop him from absorbing particles in the first place.
Personally. I think you should just follow the game plan unless you're a god at using Zack I guess. I think his Charge II abilities CAN cripple Bahamut's wings. So you just get that extra insurance. But the fact is he's going to get there. But by this point he should be ready to stagger a 2nd time. I know with Sephiroth my damage is consistent regardless of Particle charge so when he attempts to Charge for the last time so he can Gigaflare the game actually allows you a fair chance to stop this, cripple his wings, and stagger him. And if you can't stagger him he has less than a 10th of his health as long as you are consistent. The goal at this point is to hammer it out since if he has to charge again its over.
I killed him with two companions down and cloud at 1hp getting off an accession lol
Thank you so much for this vid. Kept dying at Bahamut. Finally got through Bahamut after watching your videos. Took three tries to beat Odin after 30+ hours trying to complete this challenge.
I had his health at zero yet he was allowed to keep fighting until he used his attack that just kills you all.
I'm also trouble with this boss 😢
Fantastic video. I would just say that you should have shown your materia setup. Obviously it’s a magic build since you’re using the Rune Blade and talk about using Aerora/Aeroga, but some people go into this challenge with a Physical Attack build, therefore using Aerora on the wings wouldn’t really be effective for those players.
Even though it’s likely the same Wind magic build as other people are recommending for this and Sephiroth’s challenges (except Cloud has Empowerment materia slotted in for Sephiroth’s challenge since Sephi doesn’t have it), you’re limiting the usefulness of the tips by not showing which build your using, like for players that are unfamiliar with your previous videos for example.
Putting your build in the video’s description or putting it in a comment and pinning it should solve this issue.
I beat the seph challenge with same build as Zack challenge. No empowerment. Seph is OP, so easy. Odin used to screw me on Zack challenge but now when I do it, I have more trouble with bahamut for some reason.
I have mixed feelings about helping others clear this. This platinum was supposed to be for the hard core elite players🤣. I like seeing my 0.4 percent completion rate, lol.
Most tips are fairly obvious for anyone who is dedicated enough to platinum the game. Even with tips it takes time and most people won't go for it anyways.
@@matten_zero hey i have two jobs and was still able to do it. it seems kind of lazy way out of it, but to each their own i guess.
@@kieragard people also have kids etc (esp people who played the OG back in the late 90s). "Lazy" is a silly way to look at it.
Tips are just suggestions. It's not a sure-fire way. You still gotta execute
