You can knock Kujata out of his initial elemental change by casting aeroga anytime he roars. Kinda of just a pseudo stunlock for the whole fight as long as you can avoid his basic attacks
That's what I was doing at the start Drums! I decided to let him change elements since it doubles our damage against its elemental weakness and speeds up the clear time!
For anyone else reading I'm almost positive you can knock him out of it if you time your high braver right too It takes a while to get used to Zack but once you understand the combo charge you can get it to level 3 really fast and his health is pretty high the blocking is pretty good.
I have been trying everything for this challenge, then I found your video, the only one that actually does step by step, you also slow your footage down to make sure we can actually see whats happening. Every other guide on this fight is the speedrun method, which is luck based.
@@Naztalgic_Memories I've come to perceive that its critical to first gain weapon level 9 on cloud. I get slaughtered due to not being able to dps race the bosses through certain phases. Over time I take less damage but Alexander is one fight where zack just can't consistently gain atb fast enough to rebuff cloud if he falls in combat due to no ranged attacks. There should be some kind of charge consumption for him to convert to ATB or something. I do think this is a sound strategy, I ended up getting ATB Stagger instead of HP+ and that finally got me all the way to Odin once only to choke in the first 30 sec. I swapped first strike for reraise but think I'm just going to have to oneshot this without that safety net as my windup is too slow. I'm sure I'll get this eventually but the timesink is a big turnoff. I think I'm just going to wait until DLC or until I get Cloud's weapon maxed before grinding this out given that the reward is only a ribbon which is fairly weak considering most enemies aren't dangerous because of status effects but because of just how hard/fast they hit. Anyways, thanks again for the breakdown. I'm sure I'll get this in time.
@@Rationalityislost101 I'm not sure if Level 9 is critical. I did this on Level 8 and you can see that when I show the weapon skills! I'm not sure how much of a damage gain it is from 8 to 9 but I'm sure it'll help! All commands I say/use are what I came up with to be the best! As long as you follow them then you should get the kill. Best of luck 🙏

It is just easier to pilot Rath! I was testing a Physical Build but it just wasn't as easy to clear the fights with since it needs more precise gameplay and it turns Zack into a Healbot! Congratulations on your platinum and thank you for your support ❤

Ok, I finally got it thanks to this video and my own trial and error. To everyone struggling with Bahamut/Odin, I strongly suggest taking them on in their respective boss simulation at full strength. Get a feel for their patterns and what you can do in response to them. You don't have to become a god and perfect block everything on reaction, but the more you can react to, the better. Quick tip for Odin, any of the attacks that have the purple glow should be avoided as he'll automatically counter you if you do any ATB commands. If you do get caught by one, just switch to the other party member while the effect wears off. Also, when he divides the arena in two, the right side of the arena, from the perspective of how you started the fight, will always be the good side. Keep that in mind and be prepared to go there as soon as you see him leap into the air at around 50% health

Finally finished this challenge! Thanks for a great guide for this challenge. This build worked the best for me. I tried the other wind builds out there but the skill master and hp up materia worked better than magic focus and wind.
This is where I throw in the towel. I'm not good enough to pull this off by skill. I was able to cheese my way to these very last two legendary battles, but I'm just not good enough to pull this off. It was a fun journey. Thank you for these guides, Naz.
@@Naztalgic_Memories Oh I was able to do it 3 days ago. What I did was I took a break for a couple days. I flew my wife and kids to her family for vacation and I stayed back home because I’m transitioning jobs (I’m a teacher). So I came back to the game a few days later and I would casually reattempt bonds of friendship 2 or 3 times a day. I had no pressure cuz my kids were not running around the house. Everyday I would get a little further and further. Until I was good enough to get to Odin. But Odin kept getting the better of me. I remove focus and enemy skill material and put reraise and magic efficiency so I can survive Odin. And the next time I got to Odin I didn’t even need the reraise and I got my plat. Sorry for the long post The biggest thing that was effective for me (aside from your amazing guide) was to switch between Zack and cloud when enemies focused on one of them because ai cloud and ai Zack are better at blocking than me. The other thing that helped me was taking advantage of 0 mp healing/buffing cost of Zack after synergy attacks. Thank you Naz. It was a fun journey with you for about a month watching your guides!
Got the Platinum tonight, finally, your explanation on which attacks to avoid or dodge helped me tremendously on Odin, also what helped was when to use the Limit Break, it saved me, Odin was such a pain. I actually did To Be A Hero first to get the final Manuscript, for Cloud's Weapon Level to 9, with increased Magic Stats, it made Bonds Of Friendship really easy and demolished Odin quickly, but took me forever to beat Odin on To Be A Hero. I actually have my whole Play Log at 100% and all items possible, I'm tired haha.
OMG thank you so much for this video! After several demoralizing runs ended by Bahamut/Odin I was getting ready to give up and just play through the game again on a different account, but this video gave me some great tips on beating the last two and got it first try! I might name my next son after you lol :D

Please, please tell me To Be A Hero is easier than this :*) Some more info on Reprisal's mechanics would have helped, I was so confused about how he was countering Aeroga when he was at low health for the longest time but your vid was the only one I saw that mentioned his status at all. I did beat To Be A Hero but on my Hard playthrough to get the Platinum I realized I missed some permanent missable Enemy Intel and reset my file :*) Now I'm back at this hellhole again and I keep getting messed up by Leaping Cleave, any advice on how to dodge it?
Bwaaahahahahaha just beat Bonds of Friendship an hour ago, for the second time no less! My heart is still pounding! It turns out you dodge into his Leaping Cleave, which was what was getting me tripped up with his Reprisal debuff. Thanks again for these guides, they have been an immense help and honestly rewatching them helped keep my nerves in check! :)
Great question Alice! I don't use SOLDIER's Honor right away because I don't want to push the HP threshold for it to do Temporal Imprisonment early. If we don't have our Limit Break then the runs pretty much dead!
Finaly I just beat this fight after many attempts , my build is altered but very similar . I did beat Odin on my 1st time getting too him though 💪 bahamut caused me so many problems . I ran enemy skill ,revival swiftcast wind/thun hp up mag up hp absorb wind mp absorb wind magic focus wind 1st strike and steadfast block . On to my last vr mission really hope I have an easier time with that one
I tried doing a Zack solo challenge just to experiment with his combat, and no matter how many tries I die to Phoenix. It's that dumbass Hueyacoatl and his big-ass hitboxes that makes me spend so much MP I fail the next fight. I swear man, they nailed at making the -coatl variant enemies and that Bitchflayer so annoying, but at least I got the hang of Zack's combat
Cloud build Quick reference: rune blade- genji glove- Cetran armlet/bracer Weapon skills: magic + 20, full power magic attack + 20 ATB charge rate up MATERIA: Lightning and wind linked to swiftcast First strike ATB boost Skill master Magic up Wind hp absorb Wind MP absorb Fire and ice linked elemental HP up Steadfast block Summon Phoenix Alternative build (Optinoob) Lightning and wind linked to magic focus Wind linked to HP absorb Wind link to MP absorb Wind link to swiftcast Fire and ice link to elemental in the armor Enemy skill First strikE ATB boost Magic up Phoenix summon ATB charge rate up and full power magic and magic attack plus 20 and enemy parts damage up *You can put attack power plus 20 instead of enemy parts damage up if you want I am working on a third build for people who want to absolutely maximize damage in order to run it faster but there won't be as much survivability Zack: the very basics Square square triangle! to quick charge Hold square to dash toward the enemy and attack and then press and hold square to do a downward slash. Perfect Blocking will charge quick charge For Titan I recommend using stop and destroying him with wind magic however you can get rid of the buff on his shield by attacking him right after he uses sling or thwack. Make sure to Target his hand if he uses granite shell with either chain slash 2 or a wind level 2 I've only completed this once I have done three solo success runs with Zack on just titan (If you want to destroy Titan with just Zack with or without cloud you are going to need to practice quick charge and combo quick charge and to destroy the shield I recommend to change / level 2 or level three and of course high braver but that takes a little bit of practice however if you debuff the shield and then use high braver it will take a huge chunk out of The shield. I do not know how to beat the other enemies with Zack yet.)
@@Naztalgic_Memories no problem. It's weird I was looking for Zack solo Bonds guides and I can't find one single narrated or text guide for how Zack can deal with these solo. I personally beat Titan and the electric guy but Phoenix destroys me. Any advice on how to beat him with Zack? I can get him staggered and do some damage but I can't repressure or stagger him, then he kills me.
I'm being stubborn and got to round 8 without the gloves since I haven't started my Hard mode playthrough yet 😭 Ran out of MP for Cloud, I think because of the 9,999 limit on my atks I had to cast more spells, guess I'll come back later lol
After hearing your intro videos always say the same thing.. Hearing you say “after clearing this 40+ times, you couldn’t find a way to cheese it so we’re just gonna have to get good”totally made my day at how you flat out admitted it, lol. Complete 180 from your usual intro.
I wouldn't lie to you guys! The prior challenges didn't take much skill as anyone can clear them if they follow the ATB Command since they had the same attack pattern. The challenges at the end have a wider move pool so reaction time comes into play instead of just following the ATB commands I say to use and you're golden!

It's the hardest fight in the game Wilhians. You shouldn't try to cut corners here as it doubles if not triples your damage output for the same ATB. To match the damage without it would mean you'd need two or four more ATB which takes time and in those moments something can go wrong and get you killed.
I lost against Bahamut 3 times but when I reached Odin I was able to beat him on the first try, even after Zack died because of temporal imprisonment, it was a thrilling ending...
NGL Steadfast was actually important but I cannot drop Mag Focus for it. Damage is just way more important than defense when you're bad at the latter. The goal is to capitalize on every single time Cloud get 2 ATB gauges. That's why HP Up isn't important either. You're trying to get your Aeroga and did recover from those resources. I see efficient use of ATB with ra spells but nah. Just easy way to die because you didn't do enough damage
Thanks for your video. Excellent gameplay! I must be at my 30th try and got to Odin only 6 times, strangely I keep getting Zack killed by Irondad or Mindflayer cause he just stands in the way of AOE attacks it’s so infuriating!! I will keep trying but man this is so hard!
Man I'm waiting for someone to narrate a solo Zack guide but it's so difficult because of the extreme high tuning. I have to agree that ATB generation is bad, IT'S NOT HORRIBLE BUT IT COULD BE BETTER JUST LIKE VOICE TEXT CAPITALIZING EVERYTHING FOR NO REASON I DO ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS YOU OPTI AND SOLESTRO are really great.
I cannot seem to consistently beat Phoenix with Zak solo my strategy is manawall and bravery, then I use fire level 1 for the slime and then chain slash level 3 for the bomb and then level one fire for the grand horn I think the main issue is rebirth flame you have to make sure that you are either fully healed or mostly healed and then have a manawall. I swear that materia protect/shell doesn't work, hope they patch it! Anyway yeah i start with meteor shot 3, then do high braver and chain slash 3 then once he is really close to stagger I will high braver him into a stagger. I'm pretty sure I could get the pattern of the demon down but man that guy is like a Dragon Ball Z fighter he comes at you like a boss, wish i could change Zacks materia fr Phoenix is a very strange case he only has 75,000 health points he's kind of like a balancing act but I do know that once I get the fight down perfectly I'll be able to start practicing on that demon. Kujata is a beast too. Im rambling lol. I don't know why I'm torturing myself doing bonds of friendship solo but Zack really does have a good ability to damage with high braver! Hell even two level three chain slash is good!
After multiple days of trying different builds (this one included), this one is just too hard compared to the Outer Worlds when you can cheese it and Sephiroth's VR fight due of him being OP compared to Zack here. ;w; Got to Odin twice now, both to low HP but then he starts doing attacks that are really hard to counter / dodge (or I won't have LB ready to bypass temporal distortion)
@@LindarFF9 I practiced on the Summon Odin to get his move pool down as it can be tedious getting to him after 10+ minutes just to die in seconds! Best of luck clearing 🙏
@@Naztalgic_Memories Few minutes ago I finally got the clear! As soon as I got him staggered I summoned Phoenix and had him cast Auto-Life just in case something goes south. Now I've done all Legendary and Brutal challenges in the game (oh and Stop is really busted here

Started this today. Tried a many times for a few hours and I think I may put this challenge on hold until my next day off! 😅My first run went good, got to Bahamut and then I got rattled and died. Other times the Iron Clad just messed me up... Until next ime 😂

What can you suggest to help me with this? Also every run Ive done Odin doesnt activte sleipnir furor until much later
@@SpartacusxPrime It sounds like you're not counterattacking his attacks that you can. If you're not getting hit and still seeing Zantetsuken then you're being too passive which backs up the former!
Been using your guides to do these battles. Can you do some of the harder battles in the six person bouts. Kinda stuck on those. Archfiends keep kicking my butt.
I'd change the Skill Master for a Limit Siphon materia. With that you can absorb Zack's limit gauge and have Cloud's full for when Odin casts Temporal Imprisonment. You will completely negate the stop effect if you're performing a limit break while he casts it.
I'm usually okay with suggestions from the community but this is a bad one Cid. Limit Siphon over Skill Master will only make the whole run worst for a guaranteed Limit Break on the last round? You don't even need it if you follow the guide. If anyone's reading this please don't make the swap!
I've been attempting this for hours 😭 Even trying to follow every move of this guide exactly, Alexander never attacks like he does here. On the off chance I make it to Bahamut, he thoroughly spanks me. I've made it to Odin ONCE (the first run through!) and almost had him. Now I can't get there again. This is the last of the challenges I need and I'm so frustrated!

@Naztalgic_Memories that's a good question. I don't have anything solid, but his level one is a reference to Angeal (hence why he only uses his fists). Maybe his other two could reference the other important people in his life. Like level 2 could refer to his bond with Cloud and level 3 could refer to Aerith?
I've tried so many variations of this caster build for this challenge and I just cannot get past Bahamut. I am so bad at blocking/dodging/countering his attacks, and I always end up with Cloud dying, and then it's impossible to get him back up and running before Bahamut has completely annihilated my team. It's so frustrating that Zack is so useless as anything other than a buffer and occasional stopper/healer. I would have much rather he have an actually useful kit and be able to play as him in this challenge, and then be able to build Cloud as the support/fill any holes in Zack's game, rather than having to use Cloud to cover everything because Zack is essentially all holes. At least these magic builds are better than any of the physical builds I've tried, can barely even make it past Titan with those ones. I'll just have to try again tomorrow, because at this point I'm just yelling at my TV and nothing of worth is being accomplished.
@@Naztalgic_Memories finally pulled it off last night and got my platinum, just barely. Odin was tough, but I just managed to do it. Between your video, Optinoob's and akhafasu's I was able to get the rest of the gauntlet down to a science, and just had to deal with Odin, and finally had a good run last night. I still had to resurrect Cloud once after he caught me once, but I managed to get lucky with Zack and got an arise off, got Cloud online with Prime mode again, and managed to stagger him for a second time, and by the time he was out, he was low enough that my Ascension used to avoid temporal imprisonment managed to kill him.
I figured out how to easily take care of Kujuta it's just trial and error. I can make it to Odin now but I get my ass whipped by that point. I end up getting really pissed off and take a break or rage quit. It's the ten round thing that makes me so irritated. I'll get this done it will just take me infuriating attempt after infuriating attempt. It's all I have left to Platinum the game.
@@schools6555 Yes and that's why I mentioned that at the start of Odin! He really is tough when you have so much at stake. If you'd like I practiced Odin in the summons fight to get better acquainted with his move pool before I beat him here!
I beat this today I just had to attempt it enough times to get good without getting extremely pissed off because I feel getting angry whilst playing makes this harder than it needs to be. This would not be possible to complete for the average player without guides like this. Keep up the great work!
@@sidneyshaw9205you can farm crazy amounts of Ap doing the side quest My White Haired Angel in Nibelheim chapter 13 on hard. Just kill the Bees at all three points letting the Queen Bee summon worker bee's as much as you can handle then chapter select and repeat. You can get thousands of Ap per run if you use AP up and Chocobo Armband it doesn't take to long.
Please elaborate on how you were able to cast Aerora and then Aeroga consecutively against Brineborn Demon. You shouldn’t have had any ATB left to boost.
Finally won tonight. Kept getting cheesed last second by Alexander of all things. Killed Cloud 3 times in a row right as he was about to get staggered by thundaga. Then Zack hits it three times and gets a useless stagger. Hella wack challenge, low key wish it was just Cloud so I wouldn’t have to divide my focus at all
I HATE THIS FIGHT REALLY, THE BOSSES ALWAYS HAVE THEIR BEEF WITH ZACK AND THEY KNOCK HIM OUT BEFORE ME. if only You can insert your progress from Crisis Core in this game, these bosses woule be one shot kill and zack will be Impenetrable lol

Finally finished this challenge! Thanks for a great guide for this challenge. This build worked the best for me. I tried the other wind builds out there but the skill master and hp up materia worked better than magic focus and wind.

Oh I was able to do it 3 days ago. What I did was I took a break for a couple days. I flew my wife and kids to her family for vacation and I stayed back home because I’m transitioning jobs (I’m a teacher). So I came back to the game a few days later and I would casually reattempt bonds of friendship 2 or 3 times a day. I had no pressure cuz my kids were not running around the house. Everyday I would get a little further and further. Until I was good enough to get to Odin. But Odin kept getting the better of me. I remove focus and enemy skill material and put reraise and magic efficiency so I can survive Odin. And the next time I got to Odin I didn’t even need the reraise and I got my plat.

The biggest thing that was effective for me (aside from your amazing guide) was to switch between Zack and cloud when enemies focused on one of them because ai cloud and ai Zack are better at blocking than me. The other thing that helped me was taking advantage of 0 mp healing/buffing cost of Zack after synergy attacks.

Got the Platinum tonight, finally, your explanation on which attacks to avoid or dodge helped me tremendously on Odin, also what helped was when to use the Limit Break, it saved me, Odin was such a pain. I actually did To Be A Hero first to get the final Manuscript, for Cloud's Weapon Level to 9, with increased Magic Stats, it made Bonds Of Friendship really easy and demolished Odin quickly, but took me forever to beat Odin on To Be A Hero. I actually have my whole Play Log at 100% and all items possible, I'm tired haha.

Please, please tell me To Be A Hero is easier than this :*) Some more info on Reprisal's mechanics would have helped, I was so confused about how he was countering Aeroga when he was at low health for the longest time but your vid was the only one I saw that mentioned his status at all. I did beat To Be A Hero but on my Hard playthrough to get the Platinum I realized I missed some permanent missable Enemy Intel and reset my file :*) Now I'm back at this hellhole again and I keep getting messed up by Leaping Cleave, any advice on how to dodge it?
Bwaaahahahahaha just beat Bonds of Friendship an hour ago, for the second time no less! My heart is still pounding! It turns out you dodge into his Leaping Cleave, which was what was getting me tripped up with his Reprisal debuff. Thanks again for these guides, they have been an immense help and honestly rewatching them helped keep my nerves in check! :)

Great question Alice! I don't use SOLDIER's Honor right away because I don't want to push the HP threshold for it to do Temporal Imprisonment early. If we don't have our Limit Break then the runs pretty much dead!
Finaly I just beat this fight after many attempts , my build is altered but very similar . I did beat Odin on my 1st time getting too him though 💪 bahamut caused me so many problems . I ran enemy skill ,revival swiftcast wind/thun hp up mag up hp absorb wind mp absorb wind magic focus wind 1st strike and steadfast block . On to my last vr mission really hope I have an easier time with that one

I tried doing a Zack solo challenge just to experiment with his combat, and no matter how many tries I die to Phoenix. It's that dumbass Hueyacoatl and his big-ass hitboxes that makes me spend so much MP I fail the next fight. I swear man, they nailed at making the -coatl variant enemies and that Bitchflayer so annoying, but at least I got the hang of Zack's combat

I am working on a third build for people who want to absolutely maximize damage in order to run it faster but there won't be as much survivability
Zack: the very basics
Square square triangle! to quick charge
Hold square to dash toward the enemy and attack and then press and hold square to do a downward slash.
Perfect Blocking will charge quick charge
For Titan I recommend using stop and destroying him with wind magic however you can get rid of the buff on his shield by attacking him right after he uses sling or thwack. Make sure to Target his hand if he uses granite shell with either chain slash 2 or a wind level 2
I've only completed this once I have done three solo success runs with Zack on just titan
(If you want to destroy Titan with just Zack with or without cloud you are going to need to practice quick charge and combo quick charge and to destroy the shield I recommend to change / level 2 or level three and of course high braver but that takes a little bit of practice however if you debuff the shield and then use high braver it will take a huge chunk out of The shield. I do not know how to beat the other enemies with Zack yet.)

@@Naztalgic_Memories no problem. It's weird I was looking for Zack solo Bonds guides and I can't find one single narrated or text guide for how Zack can deal with these solo. I personally beat Titan and the electric guy but Phoenix destroys me. Any advice on how to beat him with Zack? I can get him staggered and do some damage but I can't repressure or stagger him, then he kills me.

I'm being stubborn and got to round 8 without the gloves since I haven't started my Hard mode playthrough yet 😭 Ran out of MP for Cloud, I think because of the 9,999 limit on my atks I had to cast more spells, guess I'll come back later lol
Genji Gloves are crucial for this strategy. I'm sure you can do it without them but it'll require a different method.

I used a very similar Strat. I swapped elemental and fire for hp up and speed up. Just worked out better for me.

I wouldn't lie to you guys! The prior challenges didn't take much skill as anyone can clear them if they follow the ATB Command since they had the same attack pattern. The challenges at the end have a wider move pool so reaction time comes into play instead of just following the ATB commands I say to use and you're golden!

Is there a way to pass this challenge without genji gloves? I'm having a lot of trouble in farms.
It's the hardest fight in the game Wilhians. You shouldn't try to cut corners here as it doubles if not triples your damage output for the same ATB. To match the damage without it would mean you'd need two or four more ATB which takes time and in those moments something can go wrong and get you killed.
I'm able to get up to 40000 damage in one shot you can't denie it make this far less painfull (for the player)

I lost against Bahamut 3 times but when I reached Odin I was able to beat him on the first try, even after Zack died because of temporal imprisonment, it was a thrilling ending...

NGL Steadfast was actually important but I cannot drop Mag Focus for it. Damage is just way more important than defense when you're bad at the latter. The goal is to capitalize on every single time Cloud get 2 ATB gauges. That's why HP Up isn't important either. You're trying to get your Aeroga and did recover from those resources.
I see efficient use of ATB with ra spells but nah. Just easy way to die because you didn't do enough damage

Thanks for your video. Excellent gameplay! I must be at my 30th try and got to Odin only 6 times, strangely I keep getting Zack killed by Irondad or Mindflayer cause he just stands in the way of AOE attacks it’s so infuriating!! I will keep trying but man this is so hard!

I cannot seem to consistently beat Phoenix with Zak solo my strategy is manawall and bravery, then I use fire level 1 for the slime and then chain slash level 3 for the bomb and then level one fire for the grand horn I think the main issue is rebirth flame you have to make sure that you are either fully healed or mostly healed and then have a manawall.
I swear that materia protect/shell doesn't work, hope they patch it!
Anyway yeah i start with meteor shot 3, then do high braver and chain slash 3 then once he is really close to stagger I will high braver him into a stagger. I'm pretty sure I could get the pattern of the demon down but man that guy is like a Dragon Ball Z fighter he comes at you like a boss, wish i could change Zacks materia fr
Phoenix is a very strange case he only has 75,000 health points he's kind of like a balancing act but I do know that once I get the fight down perfectly I'll be able to start practicing on that demon.
Kujata is a beast too.
Im rambling lol. I don't know why I'm torturing myself doing bonds of friendship solo but Zack really does have a good ability to damage with high braver! Hell even two level three chain slash is good!

After multiple days of trying different builds (this one included), this one is just too hard compared to the Outer Worlds when you can cheese it and Sephiroth's VR fight due of him being OP compared to Zack here. ;w; Got to Odin twice now, both to low HP but then he starts doing attacks that are really hard to counter / dodge (or I won't have LB ready to bypass temporal distortion)
Yes and that's why I said you'll have to get good at the start! There is no cheese for this challenge Lindar!

I'd change the Skill Master for a Limit Siphon materia. With that you can absorb Zack's limit gauge and have Cloud's full for when Odin casts Temporal Imprisonment. You will completely negate the stop effect if you're performing a limit break while he casts it.
I'm usually okay with suggestions from the community but this is a bad one Cid. Limit Siphon over Skill Master will only make the whole run worst for a guaranteed Limit Break on the last round? You don't even need it if you follow the guide. If anyone's reading this please don't make the swap!
I've been attempting this for hours 😭 Even trying to follow every move of this guide exactly, Alexander never attacks like he does here. On the off chance I make it to Bahamut, he thoroughly spanks me. I've made it to Odin ONCE (the first run through!) and almost had him. Now I can't get there again. This is the last of the challenges I need and I'm so frustrated!

I dont think combat changes are needed, but it would be cool if during a synergy attack, characters could exchange weapons for a unique attack.

@Naztalgic_Memories that's a good question. I don't have anything solid, but his level one is a reference to Angeal (hence why he only uses his fists). Maybe his other two could reference the other important people in his life. Like level 2 could refer to his bond with Cloud and level 3 could refer to Aerith?
Why should I do thundaga and aeroga? Can't you just use one element for this? ;o

I've tried so many variations of this caster build for this challenge and I just cannot get past Bahamut. I am so bad at blocking/dodging/countering his attacks, and I always end up with Cloud dying, and then it's impossible to get him back up and running before Bahamut has completely annihilated my team.
It's so frustrating that Zack is so useless as anything other than a buffer and occasional stopper/healer. I would have much rather he have an actually useful kit and be able to play as him in this challenge, and then be able to build Cloud as the support/fill any holes in Zack's game, rather than having to use Cloud to cover everything because Zack is essentially all holes.
At least these magic builds are better than any of the physical builds I've tried, can barely even make it past Titan with those ones.
I'll just have to try again tomorrow, because at this point I'm just yelling at my TV and nothing of worth is being accomplished.

@@Naztalgic_Memories finally pulled it off last night and got my platinum, just barely.
Odin was tough, but I just managed to do it. Between your video, Optinoob's and akhafasu's I was able to get the rest of the gauntlet down to a science, and just had to deal with Odin, and finally had a good run last night.
I still had to resurrect Cloud once after he caught me once, but I managed to get lucky with Zack and got an arise off, got Cloud online with Prime mode again, and managed to stagger him for a second time, and by the time he was out, he was low enough that my Ascension used to avoid temporal imprisonment managed to kill him.

Kujuta wipes me out every time. I get it down to almost no health but I end up dying. I just cannot get my wind attack timing right.
Is it linked to Swiftcast? I usually do mine after I block or dodge one of its attack!
I figured out how to easily take care of Kujuta it's just trial and error. I can make it to Odin now but I get my ass whipped by that point. I end up getting really pissed off and take a break or rage quit. It's the ten round thing that makes me so irritated. I'll get this done it will just take me infuriating attempt after infuriating attempt. It's all I have left to Platinum the game.
@@schools6555 Yes and that's why I mentioned that at the start of Odin! He really is tough when you have so much at stake. If you'd like I practiced Odin in the summons fight to get better acquainted with his move pool before I beat him here!
I beat this today I just had to attempt it enough times to get good without getting extremely pissed off because I feel getting angry whilst playing makes this harder than it needs to be.

I suggest doing the Odin Summon fight to practice his attacks then do this challenge!

@@sidneyshaw9205you can farm crazy amounts of Ap doing the side quest My White Haired Angel in Nibelheim chapter 13 on hard. Just kill the Bees at all three points letting the Queen Bee summon worker bee's as much as you can handle then chapter select and repeat. You can get thousands of Ap per run if you use AP up and Chocobo Armband it doesn't take to long.
Please elaborate on how you were able to cast Aerora and then Aeroga consecutively against Brineborn Demon. You shouldn’t have had any ATB left to boost.
If you follow the materia build then you'll be able to do it too!
