  • Welcome to the first episode of season TWO
    Not much fanfare with this but to follow up with the finale of
    season one I wanted to give a motovlog first impressions of how the parts are performing.
    Riding with this aftermarket parts to see how they feel. Just an initial reaction.
    Shhh! its a secret but I am loving it! I got so much more power.

    It is not as obnoxious as I thought it was going to be w/o the baffle. I still think I will be leaving mine on but we will see later. Just a heads up that wile their trunk say's supposedly it is 28L I just can not see it. I have a 33L on my Downtown 300i and it is huge inside by comparison. if I were to guestimate the volume it might be about 18L to 21L. Still way better than before with no storage at all.

    I now have the pipe on mine as well. The video does not do the sound differential justice. Even with the baffle it is significantly louder than stock. I have to re-jet as the bike on GPS gets now to 64 mph where before it go to 60 (w/o a draft etc.) and is about 500 RPM short of redline.

      Im going to eventually go back to the 35T because I got more power to push that gear

    I like the stainless steel exhaust, but the reverse shifting would be a problem for me. I have other bikes that all have the traditional shift pattern, so it would be bad for me!

      Its track style and at first I thought Id hate it, but Its grown. The peg position is so nice for my body type.

    Hey bro, I’ve been watching your videos on the kp mini and I have some after market rear set pegs I’m putting in and was wondering if you can do a step by step for both break and shift pegs installation

    I was curious as to which GPS Speedometer app you are running on these videos? Keep up the good work. I'm enjoying the China Bike Videos. In the Scooter world the GY6 engine scooters are often being talked about negatively. A half a year ago I picked up a Lance Cabo 125cc and after a bit over a thousand miles it's been great. I still have my old Virago 250cc cruiser but I find myself attracted by the smaller more nimble machines. Lifan also makes an amazing clone of the Yamaha Virago XV250 as well. Good company. China is going to eat up the market as their quality increases. Ride safe no matter what you're own. Thanks again

      its on iPhone called speeometer - there is a free and paid for app. I took my motorcycle class on a Virago and I did like it alot.

    Which bike do you prefer? The lifan kp or the rukus? I know they are both cool in their own way but if you could only have one, which one would you take?

    • @cocoabiscuits
      @cocoabiscuits 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lifan kp. The rukus seems like it's a slower fun bike that doesnt require motorcycle license to legally ride I just don't know how upgradable the rukus would be to get it to 80+ mph.

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still haven’t got my ruckus to 80 mph, 76 but not 80. The KP mini has tons of fun, speed and reliability. The ruckus is way more moldable , but the more you mod it the .. well, you can’t stop. Either has it’s use, if you have a lot of urban space , ruckus is good, if you require 50mph speeds then KP mini is a good choice
