I live in FNQ Australia, watching camping vids from the Northern hemisphere really makes me appreciate the weather down here, my idea of camping is find a nice spot light a fire chuck my matress down and make a cuppa generally fall asleep looking at the stars. I have been caught out on occasion with a sudden shower/rain. My shelter is the good old Australian army issue hootchie 9x8 foot or thereabouts
I've just bought one of these can't wait to try it unfortunately my dog passed away a while back so just me this time. Great informative video thankyou 😊
This is a cracking tent for overnight camping. I have it myself and i can comfortably get myself and my collie dog in. Also i can get my backpack diwn the bottom if i bring my body up more at the head end. Boots are placed in the tiny vestibule. Certainly cant sit up in it so if not raining cook outside but if raining a small tarp would easily do. Also half the price of the Snugpack which is ridiculously over priced. Great video and great to see the Jack Wolfskin being highlighted.

It's a copy of snugpak tent but your tent is a little bigger about 1.5 p when I'm out so I put a tarp on top so there's a little more space then//Anders
Both came out in 2012, Gossamer is cheaper to buy, bottom is more waterproof, packsize is smaller. Only downside is that it is around 300gramms more than the Snugpack 🤷♂️
Seems an awful faff to get that tent up and down, the PHOXX 1 from OEX is a similar size and takes a lot less time to erect, and is lighter too! And a hell of a lot cheaper.
Disagree my friend. I can get my gossamer erected in just over 5 minutes. With a groundsheet of 10,000 you can't go wrong unlike the Phoxx which has 4,000. Lucy needn't have put the tarp down as this little beauty is bombproof. It really is the best 'stealth' tent I've ever owned.

I usually insert the poles before pegging out, seems to put less strain on poles and the tent fabric, but then that's only me, all the best, Sparky

Trousers are Revolution Race they do really good quality clothing, not cheap but it lasts!
