Can i ask as i just curious. If ex racing greyhounds encounter another smaller fluffy dog are they okay with it? Like off lead? My cousin has one and its a lovely gentle dog. I always feel for greyhounds as they always seem on short leads. I love seeing her free and running with the wind. Gorgeous.

We have a lurcher she did the same thing the first time at the beach, , shoot off like a rocket down the whole length of the visible beach,/water line, we thought we had lost her, but she came thundering back along the coast line as happy as larry

Years ago I had a miniature Grey hound and he had never been raced because I had him as a puppy but he would run in circles like this as if he had raced.It makes me wonder that it's just innate in them.

My father was career Navy. When I was a child, he was stationed to the naval base in Rota, Spain. Our family lived there for 3 years. We rescued a Spanish greyhound. We would take him to the beach just like in this video and let him run. They are wonderful, sweet dogs. I always found it amazing how he could curl his long legs and skinny body up into a chair. We took him home to America with us. He lived a wonderful life and was well loved.
