Building a 63 this year I’ll be following thank you
They are awesome projects to work on! I've gotten a long way with mine so far
Looking good! I always thought stuff like that came in a roll, but having that in small pieces is definitely a plus.
It is so much easier to work with! I went with 80 mil thick which is thick, but still plenty thin enough to put it just about anywhere!
Jake, just finished up prepping my 63 for interior cab paint. What ‘flat white’ did you use? Looks great.
Well done and exactly what I needed to hear. Did you used Por-15 on the rust prohibitor? Also I’m curious if you upgraded your sound system with a flat low profile subwoofer under the seat as I don’t think it would fit behind the seat. I’ll look at your other videos and subscribe. I’m finishing up a 68 F250 for my son and well need some bass.
I used POR 15 after removing as much rust as humanly possible! I planned on running a mini amplifier, to go with my stereo setup. Most 6x9 speakers will provide plenty of bass. The limiting factor is typically the stereo's built-in amplifier. (Or lack thereof)
How much kilmat did you actually end up using? I'm getting ready to buy some and I don't know if I need to buy one or two boxes for my 65 F100
I ended up buying 2 boxes and had plenty to do the inside of the door panels, floor, and all!
@@JakeHarrington 2 boxes of 50 square foot?
@@elangray2024 each box is 36sqft, so a total of 72sqft.
