Me too. I was so concerned about them. Four months...they should still be with their mothers. Humans can be so cruel. What the heck are four and six months old fouls doing at a ship to slaughter yard?
@@patriciamaclennan5634none of the weanlings were bought by Bowie to send to slaughter. The injured filly could of ended up there, however. There is a guy on another channel who bought two of the weanling colts. He said that Bowie paid $1200 for one and $1100 for the other one, so those are not slaughter prices. The new buyer paid more than that of course to Bowie. One of the colts came with papers, and he has already contacted the other breeder to get papers so he can register both horses with the Belgian Association. I can't help but think there are WAAAYYYY TOO MANY beautiful souls that get thrown away like trash. I have a very large number of not nice words for people like that! I also pray daily for LOTS MORE people like YOU KIDS, SAVING THEIR WORLDS!! Thank you so much!!
God Bless you Julie and Fletcher Farms. May he keep His loving arms around you and your farm and always give you everything you need to keep saving these beautiful horses.
Saint Julie, thank you for saving each and every sweet baby here. I really love King!!! I am so glad you saw him before you left. He is so cute and might be a nice riding horse even though he is retired. King just stole my heart. ❤ Penelope is the sweetest ever and at only 4 months on this earth, having been taken from her mom and sent to the kill pen. How horrific for her wondering where her mom is. Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving sweet Penelope. 🩷 Penelope looks so, so , so sweet and trusting with you already. I am so grateful that you saved her sweet life and are loving her and helping her. Penelope will know there is goodness in this world thanks to Saint Julie. THANK YOU SAINT JULIE. We need more people in this world with hearts as big as yours and kindness as full as yours. I loved this video so much, it has made my day. I hope you have enough help to handle all these beautiful, gentle giants. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ please always stay extra, extra careful that don't get hurt with so many big horses!!!! 😇😇😇
What a wonderful start to the weekend, seeing the newest farm residents settling into their forever retirement home! My heart aches for all those who cannot be saved, so I try to concentrate on these blessed ones who now have names rather than numbers, and individual characters rather than just being an anonymous member of a 'job lot' at a market. Thank you EVERYONE for playing your part ❤
It makes my heart a lot lighter to know all of those babies were rescued. I actually cried when you showed all of those babies the first time. To think they were going to go on a death march chilled me to my core and I hope each one of those precious babies finds a truly loving and caring home. That young gelding you brought home is simply stunning! He is beyond gorgeous and I am so happy that he is on the farm now. Little Penelope has stolen my heart. She a such a little love bug!! I truly hope there is something that can be done for her joint so she can move better. I know she is not hurting(obvious by her wanting to get loved on) but it just hurts me to see her gait the wait it is right now. She has such beautiful lines and it is such a shame she has something wrong with her leg. Regardless, she is now in her forever home and I have ZERO doubts she, and her herd mates, will live in the lap of luxury for the remainder of their days. It also made me smile to see Penelope and Stanley making friends. He is just the right size for her right now and she could really use the friendship while she is in the barn.
Thank you to all the horse rescue groups that took the other fillies and babies. All of you are doing God's work rescuing all of these beautiful creatures.🐎🐴
Thank YOU - without nothing would happen. Donors alone do not have impact without beautiful people at the frontline doing the to does and bearing the mad stories and saving buddies left behind to die
The feeling, when you are able to get animals out of dire situations, is like no other feeling. I'm so happy for those horses, and Julie, I feel your joy❤
You guys are amazing..You're the real deal. If only every horse could have a happy ending..Happy tears watching them leave Bowie with the surprise traveler. ❤
Penelope is such a beautiful little mite and she is just so lucky you found her. Very Best of Luck with her future, she deserves a very long, happy and peaceful life with you 🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴
It’s so impressive how kind you are to these beauties. Thank you for everything you are doing. We used to have a neighbor in Duchess County, NY with a field full of Belgians and foals. I always would stop on the road and the herd would come over to say hi. One day they disappeared. The old farmer had passed away and his son shipped the bunch of them including foals to an auction to be sold to kill buyers. Another neighbor begged him to buy the horses before they were shipped. The son refused. The neighbor then went to the auction and bought them all and took them to a sanctuary who accepted them all. My heart was so heavy until I found out that they had all been rescued and many went on to be re-homed. People can be so ignorant. They don’t understand the nobility of horses and that they are not things. It is so great that you make room for all these souls on your farm. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💕💕💕
❤❤God bless you and your team in rescuing these beautiful horses and giving them a home. The world needs more people like you who care and have compassion for animals. ❤❤
