Beautiful bike!! I bought a used Harley and found a similar battery install. Installer cross threaded the negative or could have been metric mixed with inches. Not sure as I had to cut it off. Air gaps. Could not get it off for fear of breaking the neg terminal. Had to cut it off and re do it.
What are those little washers called? I’ve never been given them with a new battery , thanks again, this happened to me, ruined a brand new battery!! Thanks in advance!
Tell you the truth I'm not sure what the actual name is, I've always referred to them as motorcycle battery spacers, but I'm sure there has to be a shorter word for them. They almost always come with the battery if you purchase the proper battery that goes to your bike. Most harleys used the style cables and batteries that made the spacers necessary. Thanks for watching 🐲
I think the 90 fatboy was the one in Terminator 2. I had a 98 fatboy that I bought brand new. Did alot of power mods to the engine over the years before I finally did a S&S 113" swap. Was alot of fun, was a real sleeper.
Good pick up. Should be spaced out a little for sure. Is that a spacer I see laying near the plus sign on the battery?
Yes, that's what I explained in the video, that the spacer was never installed.
