Hey, Sir.... This is an awesome set of videos! Thank you, so much for your time! I know that I sincerely appreciate them. I'm a 50 year old new rider with a Softail Slim, and this is very helpful to me. The stock HD hand controls are pretty large, and I've got above average larger hands, and it's still kind of hard to operate the controls. Anyway.... off topic. Thank you!

Thanks for the video! Its been about ten years since I first got my MC license and never had the money to buy a bike, this year I plan to get 1 but I needed something to jog my memory on how to ride, this video has definitely helped. Thanks Again! 😊

Neat little series!...great work!😉👍...the new H-D's don't have the heel shifter as most customers did not want it....so now its an option! I have the 2020 UL!...stay safe...ride safe!

Had an electra glide for a few years, I was coming from a lot of yrs riding with a regular shifter habit and did wanted to try/adapt to the heel/toe, but just didn't worked out for me. I found unnatural and slow having to move my foot a bit back and forth everytime I wanted to hit the shifter with my toe or my heel. For me having a regular shifter means that your foot always pivot on the same heel point, going around the shifter to shift up or down is not a big deal, makes the operation faster and a no brainer in case of an emergency or when dealing in urban environment. It's possibly just the habit or the kind of roads you're used to ride the most.

So I am absolutely brand new. I'm 48 years old I said I'd never ride a bike unless it was a Harley... Let me tell you that had to be the dumbest thing I've ever done in my entire life. So my girlfriend just got a 250 scooter and everything is automatic but I can't stay off the road... Why did I wait so long to get on the road. Anyway I've been going through and trying to practice like I'm supposed to be going through the gears LOL but I'm currently looking for a bike now and you got it awesome video. Very informative thank you very much

My dad recently passed away and I was never allowed to touch his bike while he was alive. Well today I put it in gear in the driveway after starting it up to keep it from sitting in the garage but having never been allowed to touch his bike I had no idea how to get it back to neutral. Thanks.

Just bought a new 2021 road king special and can not stand the gave Harley removed the heel shifter. I have 300 miles so far on the bike and just can't seem to get use to not having it. Also finding neutral without the heel clicker is ridiculous! Dealer says trans needs to "break in" lol been on baggers and dirtbikes for over 30 years, doubt it's me or the clutch needing to be broken in

*I've only been riding for a few weeks now. No prior experience... No prior experience with using a clutch in cars always been automatic for me. I'm having a hard time down shifting most times I try your way my timing is off obviously and it keeps jerking me and locking up the back wheel. I've gotten to the point these past few days where I'll shift up in gears(not smoothly), and when I get close to a stop sign or light I'll just hold in the clutch all the way and click the shift lever all the way down to 1st. Is that safe to do or am I going to ruin my ninja 250?*
