  • A camper van trip and wild camp in Glen Nevis with the aim of getting an early start for these two Munros to beat the bad weather forecast of gale force winds and rain. It (nearly) worked and the weather deteriorated descending from the 2nd Munro. A great solo trip!
My videos are not intended to be an exact guide to any hill, mountain or low level walk that features in the video. I don’t cover every aspect of the route, terrain or difficulties.
Please refer to walkhighlands.co.uk or the book by the SMC, The Munros - Hillwalking Guide, for detailed walk descriptions.
Stay safe out there and enjoy! 😊

You have strength and confidence to complete this route in heavy mist and deteriorating forecaste of 40mph. Congratulations on the climb.

Nice video until I did the walk myself.
Was disappointed that there was no mention of how difficult it was to scramble over lose Quartz Rocks to get to the top of Stob Bàn.
So found this filming a bit deceiving as to the no mention of difficulty and no mention of how the descent was.
I’m not a novice in walking mountains but for someone who is they would certainly struggle on this particular walk.
It didn’t truly represent of how easy or difficult it could be.

Thanks for your comments Mark but my videos are not intended to be a walking guide but more to entertain & inspire people. I’d recommend using Walk Highlands or the SMC Munro book for route descriptions. 👍
